Life finds a way, even in the cracks of concrete.
Do you ever think the reason why In-ho didn’t give himself his old number (132) when infiltrating the game (since he gave Gi-hun his old 456 number) is because he was still traumatized and suffering from PTSD of his time as Player 132?
Of course, he was willing to trigger Gi-hun’s trauma by making him Player 456 again (that’s the point) but not his own by making himself Player 132 again.
My thoughts, either he was so triggered by his old 132 number that he was willing to go as Player 001 and risk Gi-hun suspecting him (another 001) or he was that curious and wanted to see if Gi-hun would suspect another 001 (or if Gi-hun’s willingness to trust and see good in people would triumph over that).
Which also led me to think… would In-ho be triggered or how triggered would he be if the new Player 132 (that wasn’t In-ho) was also a husband who needed the money to cover his pregnant wife’s medical bills and save her life and the unborn child’s.
Hwang In-ho I will never say no to anything with you in it
The In-ho that Jun-ho remembers
This is what popped into Jun-ho's head when he asked Gi-hun about killing the Front Man
I want an AU where Gi-hun knows "Young-il" is the Front Man and, watching his spinning top fake-freakout, leans in and whispers, "If you're gonna be a horse, Young-il-ssi, you better fucking run."
