Another Rise movie animatic. This one was the ending scene but was cut for time and reviewed for something more to the point. Too bad, I cried 10 times doing this.

Not only is it amazing and beautifully animated but its also an opportunity for the show to possibly be picked back up for a 3rd season and it truly deserves that.

So something about this screenshot makes me very emotional, and it might just be from the situation overall?

Remember that back in Season One, the Plantars were seen time and time again as this random family that keeps messing things up and ultimately being seen as either a nuisance or at least not that favored to other people.

Like they weren’t the wealthiest or even the most secure of families, but I love how you can see this eventual growth of people eventually being inspired by this family as time goes on, trusting new people into their midst, and being able to fight for what’s meaningful.

So then we see Sprig Plantar becoming the representative of the frogs, of the community and tenacity that has been built up over the years, confidently striding to Beatrix as the toads boo him down.

Like this boy is representing an entire community, an entire species of frogs, mind you, against a community who was always designated as their more dominant enforcers. Yet this boy didn’t show fear over the pressure; he allowed himself to go out there knowing that he has the advantage just like the toads.

And you know what happened? He kicked absolute ass because of it!

The best part too is that he not only showed the strength of the frogs, but also what it means to be a Wartwoodian/Resistance frog in particular. Not only did he use his species’s strengths and advantages to kick her out of the ring, but he allowed himself to open up to new techniques by another species entirely to show off how better it is to learn from each other rather than survive in isolation.

All while his town, the people who never really understood him or saw him as an overactive little boy, cheers him on and carries him away in happiness.

It really hits home how important this froggy family became to this froggy little community, and I adore it.

Walking together and it starts to rain, so they grab your hand and you start running until you can find somewhere to escape getting wet.

A and B meet randomly, B finds out A is on an important mission or quest and decides to go with them to protect them/watch over them.

Fake date to a wedding; leads to confession.

A game of 20 questions that ends with "Can I kiss you?"

There's a big storm going on outside while A is at B's house, so B insists they sleep over.

A hears that B got hurt and rushes over in a panic to see if they are okay.

B just moved to town and really only knows A (just met). B is being followed or is lost and calls A for help. Of course they come to help and it turns into a date of sorts.

A falling asleep while sitting next to B, as there head falls onto B's shoulder, B stays as still as they can, afraid to wake A.

Cloudgazing or Stargazing together, as you lie next to each other, their hand slips into yours.

Looking around for the shirt you left at your s/o's house; only to find it in a drawer with other clothes and items you've left.

B get's so nervous about their dinner date with A that they accidentally make enough food to feed ten people.

A hand written love lover left at your doorstep.

B dancing to music as their cooking or cleaning, and as they spin around A suddenly appears, grabbing onto B and continuing to dance with them.

A grabs B's hand instinctively out of surprise or fear, and continues to hold it.

A keeps catching B (a stranger) staring at them from across the room and feels self conscious, until B finds them later and tells them that they couldn't stop staring out of awe/attraction.

A and B realizing they were holding hands the entire time the moment they had to let go. (after getting scared, nervous, frightened, etc.)

A buying B groceries because they knew they forgot to buy themselves food again.

B is sad because they accidentally threw something important away. A shows up later with said thing, smelling like trash.

A finding a hand-sketched photo of them on B's desk.

B hearing A sing for the first time (due to karaoke, or walking in on them, etc.) and being surprised at how good they sound.

B helping A step down from a high place by taking their hand, and then not letting go as they continue to walk.

Comparing hand sizes, then linking fingers together.

Dancing around the living room of the first home you've bought together.

Long distance relationship; receiving a good morning text every morning, until one day you don't. You are worried, but then there is a knock at your door.

B is sunshine, rainbows and kindness. A is night, rain-clouds and anger. But when A meets B, they bask in the sunshine and never want to leave.

A asking B on a date until they say yes.

B asking A to attend a wedding with them, to get out of going with someone their parents tried to set them up with.

Those are all the fics i managed to gather. Feel free to add other recs!!

I feel like with the new ~fandom drama~ or whatever going around, I should re-introduce my favorite theory of fandom, which I call the 1% Theory.

Basically, the 1% Theory dictates that in every fandom, on average, 1% of the fans will be a pure, unsalvageable tire fire. We’re talking the people who do physical harm over their fandom, who start riots, cannot be talked down. The sort of things public news stories are made of. We’re not talking necessarily bad fans here- we’re talking people who take this thing so seriously they are willing to start a goddamn fist fight over nothing. The worst of the worst.

The reason I bring this up is because the 1% Theory ties into an important visual of fandom knowledge- that bigger fandoms are always perceived as “worse”, and at a certain point, a fandom always gets big enough to “go bad”. Let me explain.

Say you have a small fandom, like 500 people- the 1% Theory says that out of those 500, only 5 of them will be absolute nutjobs. This is incredibly manageable- it’s five people. The fandom and world at large can easily shut them out, block them, ignore their ramblings. The fandom is a “nice place”.

Now say you have a medium sized fandom- say 100,000 people. Suddenly, the 1% Theory ups your level of calamity to a whopping 1000 people. That’s a lot. That’s a lot for anyone to manage. It is, by nature of fandom, impossible to “manage” because no one owns fan spaces. People start to get nervous. There’s still so much good, but oof, 1000 people.

Now say you have a truly massive fandom- I use Homestuck here because I know the figures. At it’s peak, Homestuck had approximately FIVE MILLION active fans around the globe.

By the 1% Theory, that’s 50,000 people. Fifty THOUSAND starting riots, blackmailing creators, contributing to the worst of the worst of things.

There’s a couple of important points to take away here, in my opinion.

1) The 1% will always be the loudest, because people are always looking for new drama to follow.

2) Ultimately, it is 1%. It is only 1%. I can’t promise the other 99% are perfect, loving angels, but the “terrible fandom” is still only 1% complete utter garbage.

3) No fandom should ever be judged by their 1%. Big fandoms always look worse, small fandoms always look better. It’s not a good metric.

So remember, if you’re ever feeling disheartened by your fandom’s activity- it’s just 1%, people. Do your part not to be a part of it.

So basically the Philippines needs help. I'm not sure if you've heard ( or if you're aware ), but the age of consent in the Philippines is 12. Which is genuinely fucked up for multiple reasons. One of them being that minors can't consent.

This is incredibly terrible because it could also be used as an advantage for people who do horrible shit to people at the age of 12 and above. They could use this as an excuse and say that the minor consented when they didn't. This could excuse grooming too.

A lot of people here are fucked up. I personally know people who sexualize children and I myself have been sexualized. It's isn't safe at all, and I, along with many other people have expressed our discomfory with stuff lile this.

Please help by at least signing this petition. It will really help us a lot.

For those of you who might not know another cool browser extension for Twitch is Pronouns. It's simple but cool.

It also shows pronouns for the other people who use the extension.

The options are a good range aswell.

Similar to bttv it's a free extension add on that is super easy to set up. Just need to log in on the developers site and set your pronouns.

All you have to do is Google "Twitch pronouns" and the extension link will pop up. Add the extension to your browser. Scroll to the end of the page or go to the page http://pronouns.alejo.io it will ask you to log into your twitch account then after you've logged in the page will look like the picture below, set your pronouns and give it 30 seconds, refresh your twitch page and it should work. You can test in your own offline chat. If it doesn't work feel free to ask me since I've been able to sort out minor issues people had with seeing it.

INTP’s & Low Self-Esteem

As an INTP, I believe that this MBTI personality type is amongst the most prone to having a lack of confidence & self-esteem, especially in youth when lower functions aren’t fully developed. Other types can suffer from this problem too of course, but because of the INTP functional order it seems that this is more likely to happen to this type than to most of the others.

Low Self Esteem Ti/Fe = overly analytical and self-critical

Ti analyzes and criticizes data in a logical way, while Fe makes sure that everyone feels involved and has their needs met. Typically, an INTP that has low self-esteem is extremely self-critical, often downplaying or even ignoring their positive qualities. Because Ti/Fe is a judging axis, this means that the person in question might judge themselves to be inferior to others. They therefore believe that they can’t form meaningful relationships or make people feel proud of them. What they should do is to not over analyze things or blame themselves when there are factors at play that they have no control over, such as the actions of others.

Low Self Esteem Ne/Si = poorly focused and stuck in the past

Ne considers all of the ideas and possibilities available, while Si uses past experiences to consider what to do next. This can mean that an unconfident but hard-working INTP might be poorly focused and therefore fails to follow through on a goal, which leaves them feeling unaccomplished. They might also be unable to move on from past mistakes which create senses of failure. What they should do is to focus on the idea that they believe is best after considering only the most suitable ideas, and should not let any failures deter them from trying new things.

INTP’s live in an extroverted SJ world that values, rewards and gives attention to activities and behaviours that INTPs usually don’t excel at. This lack of positive feedback can often drag them down emotionally, and inferior Fe means that emotions or relationships are often difficult for them. Most INTP’s want to prove that they are smart and knowledgeable about what they are interested in, but can often end up feeling ignored and unappreciated. Some INTP’s hate being proven wrong as well, as they like using logic and facts to win arguments. But they are human after all, and can sometimes get things wrong just like everyone else.

To avoid self-esteem problems INTP’s should seek to find a societal niche where they can feel like they’re being true to themselves and that they’re being valued and accepted, despite their unique traits. They shouldn’t be afraid of failure or being wrong either, and should see these things as opportunities to learn and grow.

- Call them ordinary.- Find a way to make every innovative idea seem pointless, flawed or, even better, boring and unoriginal. - Defend points of view from a completely biased perspective with arguments that make zero sense. Refuse to listen. - Be overly cheesy. All the time. - Consistently tell them what to do. - Follow (or pretend to follow) a very restrictive schedule and suggest that they should follow your example. - Flirt with them in the most open and direct way. - Elaborate on how cute they are, including very descriptive phrases. - If they blush uncomfortably, you‘re on the right path. Keep going. - Make them the same present every day, like an apple. Even if they seem happy at first, just carry on consistently. - Tell them to be more polite 24/7. - Be condescending.
