So this must be the answer right? In his original world Shen Jiu became SQQ, and in the crybaby’s world Shen Yuan became SQQ. Which leaves the question: where was the Shen Yuan in his world? (he gives 0 fucks about where Shen Jiu ended up in the other world) The way he sees it, the world owes him a Shen Yuan and he’s gonna find him and ask him where the hell he’s been. And maybe to marry him, but that’s not important right now. Throw in Madam Meiyin confirming that’s his soulmate and that’s a fic that would scratch every inch of my brain.
