these past 3 weeks have essentially just constant breakdowns over swan queen and normally that just involves me reading 8 million fics but i finally have the urge to contribute back with some art. im rewatching s1 (and tormenting some friends into watching it with me) and man this show really just was that gay in s1 huh, like sometimes pairings get distorted after ive not watched the source material in some time (cough this case 6 years cough) but nah, they were just like that.

RANT TIME

There is only one thing I ask of Lilith if it isn't continuing to be a decent sister to Eda after the next two episodes. I just love their dynamic. (Well also not going full on evil villain)

I want her to interact with Amity more. Like, Amity's parents are more than likely trash. I know there was a gag where Amity slipped up and called Lilith "Mom". So if Amity doesn't manage to confess her feelings by the finale, can I please have a scene where she's moping around and accidently vents to Lilith about how frustrated she is about her crush that's completely taken up every once of her brain. Or maybe after Amity's parents totally ruin her (like don't accept who she has become) Lilith just decides Amity is hers and the Blights don't deserve her. OR. OR. Lilith just smugly makes an offhand comment to Amity over "distractions" and Amity is like "I'm not thinking about Luz!" Lilith just nonchalantly shrugs with a, "I didn't say you were." Cue mom mentor teasing/gushing over how daughter apprentice has fallen hard.

I just want Lilith to be Amity's goth mom, okay. Mainly because you can't convince me Eda and Lilith wouldn't go comparing their kid in who is better.
