Ilya Repin - Ivan the Terrible and His Son Ivan House of the Dragon - 2.01: A Son for a Son
We are surrounded by liquid that contains the dawn of time, older than the very sun that shines down upon us. How are you even asking me what I do for a side hustle right now. Look at the sea bitch. Look at our matriarch.

― Ovid, Metamorphoses
An inexplicable tightness grips my chest,
when the thought of losing you intrudes,
a shadow darkening the edges of my mind,
turning peace into a turbulent storm.
I’ll be what you desire, whatever form,
a steadfast friend, a silent companion,
confidant, my presence offered freely, without claim.
Content to be a part of your existence,
to share your world, even from a distance.
Each moment with you is a cherished gift,
a fragile thread that binds my heart to yours,
for losing you again would be an endless night,
a void too vast for words to ever fill.
So I remain, whatever you need me to be,
grateful just to be a part of your world.
Ningen by William 巴特尔 Bao
Early accounts sourced from a Japanese internet forum circa 2007- The Ningen. A gigantic man shaped whale like creature that stalks the frigid waters of the South Pole. First to be sighted in the early 2000s by Japanese whaling ships illegally hunting in the Antarctic water. For a creature so large it seems to be extremely skilled at evading human eyes. Some blurry evidence from underwater cameras hinted at its existence from time to time but researchers still lack any concrete evidence. The creature’s white beluga like skin tone suggests it evades detection by camouflaging with giant underwater icebergs, perhaps even pretends to be chunks of floating icebergs, making the search for the Ningen’s illusive figure even more difficult in an already harsh environment.
hand on the divine your curves, like Italian marble body as a work of art
not just a woman but a goddess and i'm down on my knees
watermelon lingering on your tongue i lap it up in waves
