This is so cool to learn, especially at my age. I am a white, Anglo-Saxon (predominantly Scots-Irish by decent...), Protestant male, and always considered POC to be the same as me, in all ways. But I've not taken the time to get to know the deeper history (and its key founders) of the fight for abolition. This was eye-opening for me, especially since two of the most prominent of those Founders, Ms. Tubman & Mr. Douglas, wagered great risks to themselves in pursuit of righteous things.

This is why I am concerned: history is being changed, rubbed out, redacted, muddled and muddied, and sometimes disappeared. That's scary as some of us older, more open and receptive people don't know these things, so I can only imagine how few a number of people who even know to ask the questions, let alone ask the right questions... As I said, scary...

Let history stand as continual lesson about how far we've come, and the strides made, and, yes, to the work ahead. But don't let factions play that old divide-and-conquer ploy. Push back and look at history for the clues strewn all about, on the topics of peace, equality, and love of every kind.

Peace, kids...

Looks like the script is being closely followed these days...

I love the sentiment, and the imagery in the brief narrative, but I have one question. If this scenario were to play out, wouldn't that make you a character similar to Wall-E?

My ultimate dream :-)

Id like to have a destroyed apocalyptic earth all to myself. id like to watch it grow and flourish from a barren destroyed wasteland while I live as an immortal cryptid patiently observing the new ecological structures that are developing.

Id like to build my own little home out of all sorts of junk and collect relics of the past and weird things I find. Ideally, id be able to create small clay and wire golems out of scraps that I find and bring them to life. I could watch these tiny sweet babies build little homes and find cool junk to bring back to my house. they’d live in and on the walls and id have a workshop where i could delicately and lovingly make new golems. me and all my babes could gather in an abandoned lighthouse for the bringing of life ceremony and watch a new golem come to life. we would live in harmony and i would reward them gemstones for a job well done which they would attach to their bodies like little badges. my dream world is an empty one, with a small house and a lighthouse. and a very cute city of tiny golems. that’s my ultimate dream and my ideal world :)!

Kinda reminds me of something from the recent past... rewind to late 2015 and again to pre-election 2016: How many Clintonian insiders died mysteriously and/or prematurely?

THEY'RE ALL MURDERERS...

Random thought: do any of you folks share my sneaking suspicion that bugs that alight on your phone or computer screen are actually thrill seekers and not idiotic light fanatics? That they're just hoping for you to blast them with a rush of air from your mouth or hand, to shoo them away, so that they go on the baddest ass flight of their lives?

Just a random thought...

Peace, love and collard greens, y'all... yeah...I'm Southern... and a kilt-wearing Scotsman...

Idaho grizzly bear still loose after nighttime raids on livestock
MSN
Idaho Fish and Game is hoping to trap and possibly relocate a grizzly bear that has killed livestock at the same Naples-area ranch on two ni

Llamas, the preferred meat choice of hungry b'ars... although it should be noted that Hungry Man did take a sheep dish to go...

I think that the ranchers in the future, in an effort to manage food cost and inventory control, just put in drive-thrus for their ursine customers...

I believe that would be the ultimate decree of FAFO to these scumbags.

Hmmm... in 2014... let's see... who was in the White House then? πŸ€”

Oh yeah, the Nobel Prize for Peace recipient, one Barack H Obama, a warmonger if ever there were one. He and his administration and Congressional co-criminals set it all up for the purpose of ramping up the corruption, the money laundering, and setting the stage for WW III.

There's your real enemy.

Who started the war? Ukraine... They attacked their own people in the Donbas region. πŸ€”
