🌟 A Cry for Help: My Family’s Struggle to Survive in Gaza 🌟

Hello, my name is Areej Kassab. I’m a 27-year-old English teacher and writer from Gaza, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for support. My family and I are enduring unimaginable hardships as relentless bombings devastate our home and our dreams.

We are a family of 15—10 adults and 5 children. Every day is a battle for survival. Food is scarce, humanitarian aid is not reaching us, and my little nieces and nephews go to bed hungry. Among them is my sister, who is deaf, and another sister who has a newborn baby. They, too, are suffering in this crisis, and I’m doing everything I can to protect and provide for them.

💔 A Life in Ruins The war has robbed us of everything: safety, peace, and even the hope of a future here. My family’s needs are basic yet critical—food, clean water, diapers for the babies, gas for cooking, and other essentials to make it through each day.

With rising prices and limited access to necessities, we are struggling to provide even the most basic items. My sister’s home has been destroyed, and we are working together to ensure everyone has shelter, food, and warmth.

How will I tell him that I tried to search under the rubble for the remains of his toys that he dreams of returning home to play with... Bahaa is 5 years old How will he understand all this.. This post is like saying it’s a five year olds fault for getting SA. Next time she should have SCREAMED louder. Abuse is abuse no matter what form it is. That’s why rapesands minions won’t understand that he’s called that because he mentally rapes people. And MIND RAPE is a real thing.

It’s stupid insensitive post like this that makes me know that people these days lack empathy and common sense. If the world was built on one ideology we would never progress. Thats why there’s good and bad NOT foolishness.

Once someone is dead there’s nothing you can do. But you know what? Tamlin has moved on for the better of his people even though his mums death will still linger. You know who’s being petty? Ratsand. And he is also basing his assumptions as well.

REMEMBER: we all don’t truly know what happened to those two then. Tam could be lying, Rhys could be lying.

Hammad is one of the most thoughtful, considerate, and hard-working people I know -- and while he has tried his best to provide for his family under these immensely difficult circumstances, he now needs our help to keep him and his family alive.

Picture this: Your life has been turned upside down instantly; everything you have worked your whole life for -- gone in an instant. Everything you once knew turned to rubble and destruction. Your home, where you grew up and created childhood memories with -- gone. Your job, where you dedicated your energy and effort into building a career you loved -- gone. The most basic necessities we take for granted -- warmth, fresh air, the ability to move around freely and safely -- ripped away from you.

These are only a few of the difficulties that Hammad and his family have been facing for over 464 days. 

As you understand by now, there is only so much resilience the human body can endure, and the urgent need to do anything you can to save your family is the exact reason Hammad has allowed us the opportunity to help him and his family be freed from the immense suffering and stress they currently face.

His tent was recently flooded, damaging the little items that he had after losing everything, and destroying the little shelter he and his family had to protect them against the harsh elements.

It is also the 500th day of our displacement, living amidst the destruction in Gaza Yet, I still have hope that I will evacuate soon with my family, so we can rebuild our lives once again.
