Billy being the guardian of the Rock of Eternity which holds many of the most evil creatures in the world like the seven deadly sins is hilarious to me. Probably not canon but in this au every few years he meets up with the other beings who watch over a bunch of dangerous sinners. They use the meetings to share any strategies or mishaps so they can help each other be more efficient but since they’ve all been around for thousands of years minimum, they’ve pretty much optimized their systems so they spend most of the time gossiping and hanging out lol.
one of the reasons i have more patience & affection for spuffy than for other m/f enemies-to-lovers ships in a similar mold is that buffy is under no illusion that she can fix that man. in fact she believes he is ontologically incapable of being fixed. he'll be like Buffy i can change and she'll be like You are literally not capable of doing that. then he actually does change and she's like. Wait you can do that??? Not sure how i feel about that to be honest
" If Bernard ever wants to hear MY theory, my address is These Legs Are Open Avenue "
A big thing for Clark is, once he gets a better grasp on his super-hearing, he makes a point of kind of consciously keeping his super-hearing away from Lois's apartment because "I trust her and respect her privacy" but at the same time he is absolutely attuned to when Lois's voice reaches a certain pitch/volume (much in the same way he is attuned to people screaming/calling for help or saying "put the gun down" all over the city). So pretty much every morning Clark just fucking perks up like "Lois? Trouble???? Oh wait she's just singing in the shower. Wow, she is really bad at it. I love her. :)"
And that's also how she gets terrible songs stuck in his head all day.
shawn, everyday: *wakes up next to juliet*

Jared: I want to wake up with you for the rest of my life
Kim: I wake up at five
Jared: I want to fall asleep with you..
part of billy's requirements for being champion is that he's pure of heart so i like to imagine anytime the league has to pass a test of goodness/worthiness for some reason they just quietly push captain marvel to the front
I absolutely adore that with the all the Bruce wayne is Billy Batsons real father. No one ever villanizes (I spelled that wrong) C.C or really Marilyn.
It's always they met on a dig while they were having a fight, she comes clean to him, he accepts it, she is pregnant its Bruce's. And every single time he says he will love this boy like his own. And he does, it's his son, his billy bean that he adores.
I think it’s kind of funny how coin (who obviously wanted peeta rescued from the arena instead of katniss) doesn’t see what an absolute nightmare he would be for her to deal with if she left katniss in that arena
Like she thinks katniss was hard to deal with/manipulate/control after she left peeta behind? Peeta would’ve had her whole district eating out to the palm of his hand before she even realized who she was dealing with. She thought katniss was too single minded/stubborn about her focus on saving peeta over the revolution itself? He would have been her absolute nightmare (and I adore him for it)

Punctuating Dialogue
✧
➸ “This is a sentence.”
➸ “This is a sentence with a dialogue tag at the end,” she said.
➸ “This,” he said, “is a sentence split by a dialogue tag.”
➸ “This is a sentence,” she said. “This is a new sentence. New sentences are capitalized.”
➸ “This is a sentence followed by an action.” He stood. “They are separate sentences because he did not speak by standing.”
➸ She said, “Use a comma to introduce dialogue. The quote is capitalized when the dialogue tag is at the beginning.”
➸ “Use a comma when a dialogue tag follows a quote,” he said.
“Unless there is a question mark?” she asked.
“Or an exclamation point!” he answered. “The dialogue tag still remains uncapitalized because it’s not truly the end of the sentence.”
➸ “Periods and commas should be inside closing quotations.”
➸ “Hey!” she shouted, “Sometimes exclamation points are inside quotations.”
However, if it’s not dialogue exclamation points can also be “outside”!
➸ “Does this apply to question marks too?” he asked.
If it’s not dialogue, can question marks be “outside”? (Yes, they can.)
➸ “This applies to dashes too. Inside quotations dashes typically express—“
“Interruption” — but there are situations dashes may be outside.
➸ “You’ll notice that exclamation marks, question marks, and dashes do not have a comma after them. Ellipses don’t have a comma after them either…” she said.
➸ “My teacher said, ‘Use single quotation marks when quoting within dialogue.’”
➸ “Use paragraph breaks to indicate a new speaker,” he said.
“The readers will know it’s someone else speaking.”
➸ “If it’s the same speaker but different paragraph, keep the closing quotation off.
“This shows it’s the same character continuing to speak.”
