Attention Everyone!!!
Tumblr is being weird and like, ate two of my messages and since I am a mushy brain I pretty much forgot what was in them and who they were from! One of you sent in a request twice, the second time you sent it in was because you didn’t know if your computer had sent it in or not because it was having problems. A Cold Night In Gotham
One shot: Could you do a one shot, Where when Bruce first sees you he’s Batman, and then he sees you working for him at one of his party’s, he can’t keep his eyes off of you and you feel him looking so you turn and look at him, He gets up and asks you to dance? Announcements: Hope you enjoy! Warnings: None It was a cold night in Gotham, not unusual, but still unpleasant. Currently you were walking home from your job- sorry, ex job, in the middle of the night. You knew it was stupid, being out this late at night by yourself, but your ride never showed up so you didn’t really have any other choice. You stuffed your frigid fingers into your pockets and made your way across the street, trying to stay in the better lit parts of the sidewalk. All of a sudden, it started raining down on you in sheets. You were about to groan in protest to the weather when a sweaty palm clamped over your mouth and pulled you back into a darkened ally. “Scream, and I’ll kill ya, got it! You got that!”
You nodded in reply, trying to fight back the tears that were threatening to come spilling out at any moment. Whirling around you were met face to face with a skinny man, and looking down you caught the flash of silver that signaled he had a gun.
“Give me all you got! But you make a single move I swear I won’t think twice about blowin’ your face all over the ally walls, now hurry up!”
You moved slowly and managed to grab your wallet. It didn’t have much but you weren’t about to argue with the guy. It didn’t make you feel any better that he was possible shaking just as bad as you were, remember kids, shaking hands can get people killed! You reached out your wallet to the skinny man, but your hands were shaking so badly that you dropped it.
You held your breath and looked at him, “Well come on,” he said, “Get it! And be quick about it.”
Slowly crouching down you let yourself break eye-contact for a moment and searched for the wallet. All of a sudden, the man yelped and a second later his gun went off, echoing off of the walls of the ally. You shut your eyes and shied away from the loud sound, falling on your butt and trying to scoot away in the process.
After a few moments, you opened your eyes and looked up, containing the small gasp that tried to escape from your lips. A figure in all black with what looked like horns on his head stood not even five feet away from you, tossing away the skinny man’s gun as he dropped to the cold, wet ground.
Scrambling back to your feet you looked at the figure, “Wh- who are you?”
He half turned towards you, “I’m the Batman,” and with that, he took something from off of his belt and soared up and back into the night.
You stared, shocked at the place where he had been, and then looked up after him, “Thank you!” you yelled over the roar of rain, and started back on your way home.

A few weeks passed, and eventually your friend hooked you up with another job, this time it was working as a server for one of the rich guys in Gotham, Wayne was his name. It took quite a while to get the job though, you had to go through about a hundred background checks before you were even interviewed, but that was ok, it paid pretty well which was good enough for you. Tonight was your first actual major party, well, charity ball that you had worked at yet, which excited you. You shook out your shoulders, straightened your clothes, carefully grabbed a platter with multiple glasses of champagne, and walked out of the kitchen doors and into the quieter atmosphere of the party.
You walked around for a bit, handing out glasses, taking away the old ones. To be honest it was kind of boring, just standing there, smiling like a robot to every guest who bothered themselves to look in your direction, it was getting kind of difficult to suppress your yawns. Soon though, you started to feel uneasy, like you were being watched. Carefully you began to swivel your head, looking around the large room for the source of the feeling, finding nothing you shook your head. You were just being silly, you thought, nothing is happening and no one is staring. You smiled slightly, you’re just being paranoid, turning around you almost spilt the tray onto someone that was standing right behind you.
“Oh!” you said, managing to gain control of the drinks, “I’m sorry sir, I didn’t see you there… Mr. Wayne! I’m so sorry.”
Bruce Wayne, your boss, stood behind you, smiling, “It’s ok, don’t worry about it. What’s your name?”
“Y/N,” you replied
“Well, Y/N, I was wondering if you would like to dance?”
You stared at him, “That would be lovely, but I am still working.”
He looked around, “Well, I know the boss, and I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t mind. Especially for someone as beautiful as you.”
Your cheeks flushed bright pink, was he actually serious? “O-ok, I guess. Thank you.”
You set down the tray of drinks and followed Wayne out onto the little area where people were dancing gracefully to the song.
“I must warn you,” You began, “I have no idea how to dance.”
He chuckled, “Don’t worry, just follow my lead.”
It took you a moment, but then there you were, spinning gracefully around the dance floor in your not-so-expensive servers outfit with none other than Bruce Wayne, the billionaire. You couldn’t really see but you thought that everyone was staring at the two of you. To be honest you were kind of warming up to the guy, it’s like you’ve met him before.
Just another cold night in Gotham? Yeah, right.

Something Heavy
One-Shot: Can you do a one shot where the reader is with Zach and Gray in the back of the truck when the velociraptors are chasing them and idk, the reader almost falls out of the vehicle or whatever while trying to scare away the raptors and Zach saves her and they kiss, idk? There aren’t much Zach imagines, and he’s like, the loml
You basically fell down when the woman named Claire told you and her nephews to get into the back of the truck. Today had been a really long freaking day, mostly involving trying to not get eaten by any number of dinosaurs, and you had just about had enough of it.
You had gotten together and started fighting for your life with the boys when you were stupid enough and tried to investigate a hole in the fence and fell in. Whatever propelled the glass ball you were in wasn’t strong enough to get back up the steep hill so you turned around and went to find another way in, and thats when you saw them, in another ball just across a clearing containing five dinosaurs. You had tried to signal them about the big white one behind them but it was too late. While they slipped out from a hole in the glass you had decided it would be better to stick with them and climbed out of the door and raced after the boys. The three of you ended up jumping off of a small cliff and into a large pool of blue water until whatever kind of dinosaur that was went away.
After surviving that and then the Pterodactyls, you all thought it was best to stick together. And now here you were, all safe and sound in the back of the metal walled truck. You, Zach, and Gray all knew about the plan to use the Raptors to track the white beast and were trying to cram into the tiny window to see what was happening on Claire’s tablet. After a few minutes or so, they found it, and just when it was getting to the good part Claire decided that you were all too young to see what was going to happen next, which was probably for the best.
You and the boys were talking when suddenly the truck doors flew open and a man wearing body armor burst in, “Run! They’re coming, run-” and then he was pounced on by one of Owen’s Raptors and taken away.
All of you started yelling at Claire to get moving and almost fell out when the truck shot off. That didn’t concern the Raptors one bit though, as they used their speed and kept gaining on the moving vehicle.
You and Zach looked at each other, seemingly thinking the same thing, that you needed to defend yourselves. The two of you got up, careful not to fall out, and looked for something heavy. Zach grabbed what looked like an air tank, so you grabbed the second one. At the same time you heaved the objects out of the door, trying to aim for the reptilian figures. They sidestepped them as easily as walking around a pole on a sidewalk.
You both of you slumped down, out of ideas, when Gray yelled form behind you, “Hey! What about these?” He held up what looked like a two pronged taser.
“Yeah!” Zach said, “Turn it on, turn it on!”
“I don’t know how,” Gray replied.
Zach glanced at you, “You ok?”
“I’m fine, just go!”
You looked around for other things to throw and grabbed one of the metal boxes you had been sitting on earlier and was just about to toss it when the truck made a violent jerk to the left, tossing you off balance.
You were just about to fall over and into the grips of an awaiting Raptor when you were yanked back by the hem of your pants and into safety. Zach pulled you in and swung you around into his arms, there was a moment where it was just the two of you, standing there and looking at each other. Then, without even thinking, you smashed your lips into his, being a part of what seemed the longest and best kiss ever. Finally, the two of you parted and looked at each other, “Wow,” he said, “That was, um, it was-”
“Gross for all other parties in the back of this truck,” Gray interrupted, “And really bad timing, now come on!”
Zach glanced at you went and turned the taser thing on, taking out another one of the Raptors. You grabbed the second one and did the same thing with another one, this time making an effort to stay in the truck. When it seemed that all the Raptors were gone for now all three of you slumped down, adrenaline levels dropping back to normal.
Soon, you all met up with Owen and tried to get off the island. That didn’t work too well, but after Claire brought in the T-Rex everything else went pretty smoothly.
After all dinosaurs were gone and everyone was safe and being patched up, you went over to where Zach was sitting, “Hey,” you said, “Thanks for keeping me from being Raptor food.”
He looked up at you, “Oh yeah, um, yo- you’re welcome, I guess? I mean it was- it wouldn’t have been fun for any of us if you became Raptor food. I mean, you’re like, really cool.”
You smiled, “Thanks, you’re really cool too.”
There was a moment of silence, “So,” Zach began, “I was just wondering if, y'know, when we got out of here if you wanted to, get together some time? See a movie or whatever?”
“I would love to,” you said, grabbing a pen someone had left behind and writing your number on his hand. “Once you get a phone again, call me sometime and we can make it a date, I guess.”
He smiled, “Yeah, awesome.”
Wow, you thought, maybe you should fall out of the back of trucks more often.

WARNINGS: Maybe a little violence but thats it really
Your face crunched up as the ocean spray splashed up and over the side of the boat. Blinking the salty water out of your eyes you were finally able to see the up and coming Isla Nublar, the famous Jurassic World. You smiled nervously, you were coming here to begin living with your father, Owen Grady, the Velociraptor trainer. It had taken this long because he didn’t really know if he would be staying or not, but he did, and at first he changed from coming to the island and back home but eventually he just stayed on the island and left you with your neighbor, the most boring person on Earth. At first you didn’t like the thought of him working at a place who messed this up the first time 22 years ago, but you soon realized that he could handle himself just like he had taught you to do.
Once you got off of the boat you looked around the docks through the churning sea of people and finally saw your father surveying the crowed. His eyes locked with yours and brightened up. Making your way over to him the two of you instantly embraced in a warm hug.
“Hey there!” He took you by the shoulders and looked at you, “My gosh, it has been too long. I’m really sorry that it has taken this long for me to get you to the island but I’ve just been so busy and-”
You laughed, cutting him off, “It’s fine, really. What you should be sorry about is leaving me with Ms. Wyatt for an entire year. You do realize that the only thing she has for fun is a television and that somehow only get the crocheting channels.” He winced, “Yeah… but hey! People say those things will rot your brain y'know! Besides, I don’t have a tv at all.”
“Yeah, but you live on an island full of dinosaurs.”
“True. Now lets get going, I still have a few more hours of work but I’ll introduce you to the Raptors and then I’ll have someone drop you off at the bungalow and then you can explore the park.”
You through your fist in the air in celebration, “Yes!”
Instead of getting on the monorail to the park the two of you took a jeep with the parks logo on it and headed down a dirt road. The two of you had a little catching up to do but not much, I mean, he only called you basically every day so there wasn’t much you hadn’t covered in those calls. Eventually the bumpy road came to an end next to a large concrete structure. To be honest it wasn’t that impressive but you could still barely contain your excitement, I mean, actual Velociraptors! Not skeletons or pictures in a textbook but real, living, breathing animals! The two of you hopped out of the car and into humid jungle weather and made your way over to the bottom of some metal stairs.
“Ok,” he said, “I don’t usually let random people up here so if anyone asks you’re with me,”
“Got it.”
The metal clanked under your boots as the two of you made your way up the stairs and onto a cat-walk that overlooked a jungle filled enclosure.
“Oh, and by the way,” Owen started, “Don’t fall over please, in fact, hold onto the railing, please.”
“I’m not gonna fall over, chill,” you said taking a hold of the railing anyway.
That seemed to satisfy him as he started what ever he was doing. A pig squealed through followed by 4 other things that you couldn’t quite see until they came to a stop right beneath you. The breath caught in your chest and you smiled brightly, there they were, 4 Velociraptors, all big and powerful and deadly. Your father called out some commands and they actually listened, go this way, that way, and finally he gave them all treats, the one named Blue getting a little white rat.
“And, go!” he said finally and the Raptors went sprinting back into hiding.
“That,” you said with wide eyes, “Was, awesome!”
He laughed and the two of you made your way back down the stairs. He introduced you to one of the other workers and said that they would be taking you to the park for some exploring. Once you were at the park you felt kind of lost. You had never been alone in a place as big as this before, but that was ok, you would be able to handle yourself. And besides, what could really go wrong?

You jinxed it, you thought to yourself as you ran through a crowed of screaming people as they tried to keep from being Pterodactyl food. You just had to open your big fat mouth at say something as stupid as, ‘what could possibly go wrong?’ so, so stupid. You could barely make out one person from another as you tried to find a safe spot. And all you could really do for your father is hope that he wasn’t dead.
Suddenly, a few of the beasts started falling to the ground, one landed near you and you saw something sticking out of its side, a dart. Looking up you saw a few people scattered throughout the crowed with dart guns, aiming at anything flying. One of the men was taken from behind, screaming as he went up and dropping his gun, and without a second thought, you grabbed it and started aiming at the beasts too. All of a sudden, two boys ran in front of you, one about your age and one a few years younger than you. They went to the large fence that kept people from falling in with the Mosasaur, looking at something that you couldn’t quite make out. In doing this they were in plain view of everything that thought to try and look for food, and soon, a few of the Pterodactyls were swooping for them.
You ran to get a better shot and started taking out those things left and right, all the while the two boys just looked at you in awe. You couldn’t blame them though, you were being pretty freaking awesome right now.
When the air was clear for the moment, you looked at them, “C'mon, don’t just stand there, lets go!”
They got up and start running with you while you tried to look for anyone who familiar, all the while shooting anything that flew. All of a sudden the boy about your age tugged on your shirt and pointed to a redheaded lady standing on a car. You nodded and followed him towards the direction of the lady, and almost shouted with joy. Right next to her was Owen, keeping an eye on the lady and making sure she wasn’t carried off. Suddenly though, he was tackled by one of the flying beasts, barely fighting it off from biting his face off, you raised your gun, ready to shoot, but was beaten to the point by the redheaded lady.
The three of you kids jogged over to them, they hugged the lady and you went and about tackled Owen. It was a quick moment though, as the panic was not yet over. Your father led the way to a company jeep and all of you watched as people broke through the gate and flooded past the car. For now at least, you were all safe and could take a breath.
“Can we stay with you?” said the younger brother.
“Trust me guys, I am never leaving you again,” replied the redhead
They both started at once, “No, no, we meant them.”

The rest of the day pretty much sucked also, the raptors temporarily found a new Alpha which sucked for a lot of people, then this big fight between the I-Rex, T-Rex, Raptors, and Mosasaur, but then, you saw your dad’s heart break when his last remaining Raptor, Blue went back into the wild of the jungle. But, even with a few cuts and bruises, everyone made it out alive. Currently you were walking around an 'infirmary’, helping people find their families and things like that. You saw the boys and the redheaded lady you found out was named Claire, and signaled Owen you were going over there. Claire stood up and went over to your father and you took her spot right next to the boys.
“Hey,” the one named Zach said.
“Hi,” you replied.
Gray looked at the two of you and sighed, “I’ll just be over there then.”
“So,” he started, “Thanks, for, y'know, keeping us alive back there.”
“Ah,” you said sarcastically, “It’s was nothing, really.”
The two of you chuckled at that one, “Hey. So, I was just, I was gonna ask that, um, if you wanted, to, like-”
You cut him off by taking his hand and grabbing a pen, “I would love to, here’s my number, call me sometime maybe.” And with that, you got up and started helping your father again who had just apparently had a similar moment with Claire.
Maybe you should jinx things more often.

Cocky
One-Shot: Imagine you have a fall out with Owen but then when trouble starts you find him and you work together but at the end you get injured and you can make up the ending Announcements: Sorry this took so long to get out! Warnings: None that I can think of! You walked into the trailer. It was a bit small, but big enough you to live comfortably. You lived right next to your partner, Owen Grady, but it wasn’t ‘partner’ as in boyfriend, more like as in co-worker. You both led your own separate packs of Raptors, and you were both the Alphas, which you had to be, if you were going to be respected and listened to by the Raptors.
You slumped down onto your bed, dropping your stuff down on the floor next to you. Today was an exhausting day, and you were both sad and frustrated with Owen. Mostly you were frustrated… angry… ok, pissed off at that cocky bastard. He though he was invincible even though he was clearly not. Some scrawny kid had fallen into the enclosure and he just ran in there without a care in the world. Sure, you thought, it would have set back his work by months, even years if the guards had tazed the Raptors, but it could have ended his life if he hadn’t gotten lucky this one time.

“What were you thinking?” You had yelled at him, “You almost died in there!”
“But I didn’t,” he retorted, winking at you.
“It was stupid and reckless and-“
“Stupid?” He asked, his voice rising slightly, “That kid would have been dead if it weren’t for me!”
“Maybe, but you both could have been dead if you didn’t get lucky this single time! You should have let them take the Raptors down! They would have ripped you to shreds if you hadn’t gotten out of there when you did!”
He looked at you incredulously, “If I had let them then they would have never trusted me again! They are too precious of ally’s to have on our bad sides! You would have done the same thing.”
That made you stop. Would you have? Or would you have let them be taken down? You shook your head slightly, this was different, you thought, he actually did it.
“Are you that surprised that I would put a human life before an animals comfort?” you said instead, “They would have been fine! A little disoriented for a while and given a break before the next training session. You-“
“Wow, just… wow,” he said, “Would I even want to know the answer?”
“I, I…”
He huffed and pushed passed you, leaving you standing there, angry and about ready to start crying. God, that idiot, you thought.

You decided to skip dinner and go straight to sleep. You were about to fall into the sweet clutches of unconsciousness when someone started knocking on your door. Oh what now, you thought grumpily as you pushed yourself of off the bed.
Opening the door you were met with the face of Owen, “Boss Lady’s here and she needs us both,” he said, turning and walking to a shiny silver car before you could get a word in.
As you walked to the car you saw that in the driver’s seat was a redheaded woman you knew to be Claire Dearing. Hopping in next to a quiet Owen you asked, “So, what do you need us for?”
She glanced at you while started the car and driving off, “Mr. Masrani thought it would be best for the two of you to review the paddock of one of the new attractions for safety.”
“Oh,” you said simply.

And thus continued the suckiness of the day, first a fight with Owen and then escalating into running for your life from a dinosaur that never existed. And now here you were, running through the jungle towards the park, trying to push the visons of the two poor workers being chomped in half out of your thoughts for the moment. At this point, hours must have passed, I mean, this was a huge island when you’re walking on foot, and you’re sure you’re lost. At last you stumbled out onto a large cliff that overlooked the park, and what you saw almost made your heart stop, it was the Pterodactyls, they were loosed and dive bombing the park. Oh hell, you thought and began to run to the park.
When you got down there it was still chaos, people running, screaming, crying, trying to keep from being bird food, it made you mad. These idiots should have evacuated the island, but no, it would have cost them too much money, it’s all about the money! All of a sudden you were jerked back by your shirt, and then up. Claws dugs painfully into your shoulder as you suddenly realized that you had been caught by one of the Pterodactyls and was not being lifted into the sky.
You heard screaming but didn’t know if it was yours or the crowed below you, either way, it sounded terrified. Suddenly, as quickly as you had been lifted up into the air, you were falling back to the ground. The animal made a squawking sound and released its iron grip on you. You thought that you would be too high to keep from gaining any injuries but just before you hit the ground, powerful arms caught you, sending you and Owen to the ground.
He quickly looked up at you, “Are you hurt,”
You looked at him while you tried to feel any major points of pain that could mean broken, and then looked down at your ankle and winced. Even now it was beginning to turn purple and swollen, it must have been caught under Owen when the two of you fell.
Owen followed your gaze, his eyes widening as he saw your ankle too, “Here, c’mon, I gotcha.”
As he lifted you up your eyes locked with each other’s and before you could protest put his hands around your face and smashed his lips into yours.
After a few moments of that he released you, “I’m sorry about earlier, I know it was stu-“
You cut him off, “That can wait.”
He looked at you with his fascinating green eyes and nodded, “Follow me.”
It was a short distance to the car but with the added trouble of a panicked crowed and useless ankle it seemed to take a lifetime. Claire Dearing was in the front and there were two boys you didn’t recognize in the back as you squeezed in next to them. For now at least, everything seemed ok, and you thought of a few ways that you could apologize to Owen too.

Scandalous
One-Shot: Can I have a one-shot where Owen Grady (aka Chris Pratt) introduces you to the raptors and some of them try to hurt you and yeah if that makes sense:) Annoucement: I hope you like it! Warnings: None
You closed your eyes and took a deep breath of ocean air. It wasn’t a long boat drive to the Isla Nublar, but it sure was refreshing. You were barely containing your excitement though, to be honest this may be the best day ever. You were visiting your partner, Owen Grady, and he said he was finally going to show you his Raptor girls. That’s right, actually Velociraptors. You had been nervous about him taking the job at first, seeing as how 22 years earlier Raptors had contributed to the events at Jurassic Park, but eventually you had learned to accept it.
Getting off the boat and swaying a little bit from just getting back on land, you looked around through the crowed of families and friends.
All of a sudden there was a jabbing, tickling feeling on your sides, “RAPTOR ATTACK!”
Apart from it tickling a bit, it scared the hell out of you and made you jump about five feet into the air, “AHHH!”
Some people within earshot of you gave you odd looks as you whipped around and found yourself immediately faced with stunning green eyes. You smiled and smacked Owen on the arm.
He pretended to be shocked and hurt, “What on Earth was that for?”
“You know what for,” you said, “And, by the way… Raptor attack? Really?”
He took you by the arm and the both of you started making your way off of the dock, “Ah, well, just trying to get you in the mood.”
Hopping into his jeep you chuckled nervously, “Yeah, right. I hope they like me.”
Owen smiled and looked over at you, “Of course they will, I’m the Alpha, they’ll think of you as my mate and respect you too.”
“Alpha, huh? I bet you use that one on all the girls.”
He started the car, “Only you, hun bun.”
The rest of the ride was filled with small talk and the general catching up. You were studying back in America so you kind of had to keep this a long distance relationship which wasn’t always easy, but you managed. And besides, you were almost done anyways, you were really trying to push for a job on the island so you could be near Owen but that was a worry for another day.
Soon, the bumpy car ride to the enclosure was over and the two of you hopped out of the car, “Yeesh, it is mildly warm out here,” you said sarcastically, taking off your top shirt to reveal your tank top.
“Are you trying to impress me, or the dinosaurs,” Owen commented.
“Well, I just want to make a good impression,” you retorted. You followed him a short distance and to something that looked like a viewing area of some sort, both sides closed off by safety fences.
“Here,” Owen said, “Just stand here and watch.”
“I think I can handle that,” you said, feeling the excitement kick your pulse up a few notches.
He signaled someone and all of sudden a tiny pig came squealing in through the opening in the enclosure. It disappeared in a hole in the wall and a panel slammed down behind it, keeping it from being eaten by the four beings that came streaking in behind it. Their sleek reptilian bodies moved around the arena, hissing at the people up on the catwalk above and nipping playfully at each other. They eventually saw you and Owen in the safety cage and slinked over. Your eyes were wide, this was the first time that you had been able to see the Raptors, and they were magnificent. They came closer to the gate that separated you from them, staring at each other in the eyes.
“This one it Blue,” Owen said, pointing to the one closest to the fence, “That one is Echo, there’s Charlie, and over there is Delta.”
“Awesome,” you whispered with a slightly open mouth.
All of a sudden, Blue, jumped forward towards the cage, making you jump back, just barely missing the her claws as she stuck her arm though an opening.
“Ahh!” You yelped.
Owen pushed you back to a safer distance, “Hey! No, Blue! No! Back, stay back!”
The Raptor looked at Owen and slid her arm out of the door quietly. The others had stayed back, and started hissing at you.
“Was it something I said?” you asked shakily.
He frowned and helped you up off of the ground, “No, I don’t know. Maybe they just didn’t sense that you were my mate?” He looked back in the cage, “I don’t know. Are you ok? Any scratches? Anything?”
You shook your head, “I don’t know either, maybe we need to kiss in front of them next time. Show then whose boss.”
He raised an eyebrow at you, “Ooh, scandalous. What would the people think?”
“Who cares?” and pecked him on the lips.
A near mauling by your boyfriends Raptors can really make a person crave physical contact.

One-Shot: Can I please have a one-shot with Zach from Jurassic world where the reader is his girlfriend and plus size. And he keeps looking at the other girl so she hangs out with Gray then when a dinosaur almost kills her he like realizes his mistake please love your imagines Announcements: It’s a few minutes after midnight so technically it’s Monday so I’m sorry for lying about when I would get this out. Hope you guys like it! Warnings: One death, not really put into detail though. “Wow,” You whispered as the island came into view. You looked up at your boyfriend, Zach, and smiled, “Thank you so much. This is amazing.” He smiled slightly back down at you. You know you weren’t the skinniest girl in the world but that apparently didn’t stop him from loving you. And for him to take you along on this trip? To an Island full of dinosaurs? To Jurassic World? You knew that he really did mean it. Zach’s younger brother, Gray, started pushing his way to the front, taking you along with him. You didn’t offer up much of a fight as you had wanted a better look too. Looking back at Zach you noticed him looking around and then something on the below deck catching his attention. You followed his gaze and noticed a group of pretty high school girls giggling and smiling back up at Zach. A little pulse of, something, jealousy, you thought, went off in your heart. You pushed those thoughts to the back of your head though. He’s just being friendly, you decided as your mind was then pulled back to the growing form of Jurassic World. —- Eventually, through a series of events that included meeting the boys’ Aunt, making an escape from a baby dino petting zoo, and a T-Rex eating a goat, you all ended up at a ride that would allow a closer look at the dinosaurs. To you it just looked like a high-tech, human sized hamster ball but you could look the other way. And thats when you saw it. Looking up you saw Zach, looking around again, and again he caught the attention of a group of pretty girls. This time he stared long enough to make you feel sad. You looked at the girls, they were pretty and skinny, unlike you. You frowned and pushed off of his arm lightly and went over to Gray who was next in line. “Hey,” you said, “Need a second rider?” He looked at you, then at Zach, and then back to you, “What about Zach?” “He’ll be fine,” and with that, the two of you got into the hamster ball. You looked back and saw that Zach had gotten into a ball with some random guy, looking confused when he saw you in the other ball. Looking forward again you pressed the handle down and shot forward. Why were you acting like this, you thought, because I’m jealous, ok? About ten minutes in to the ride, a little screen popped up and a voice came over the speakers, “ The ride is now over, please return to docking area immediately.” The two of you looked at each other and groaned, “Ahh man,” You said. All of a sudden your phone started buzzing. Taking it out you saw the name, ‘Zach’. You answered it, “Yeah?” “Hey, you guys see that hole over there? The two of you searched along the large metal fence until you saw it, “Yeah, why?” “Well,” he started, “I mean, I only want the two of you to get your full Jurassic World experience don’t I? I bet there are a ton of Dinosaurs that we aren’t even seeing.” You and Gray frowned, “But the thing says we have to go back. And what about the guy you’re with? "Ehh, he fell asleep. Jet Lag or something. Anyway, we’re VIP’s, we won’t get into trouble. I promise.” Gray started shaking his head, “No, no. I really don’t think that’s a good id-” All of a sudden Zach’s ball went down the hill and through the side of the wall. Wow, you thought, he actually just did that! You groaned and looked over at Gray, whose eyes were wide, “Well, we have to go after him,” and pressed forward after him It didn’t take long to find him and you all found yourselves in a large clearing, staring right at some armor plated dinosaurs. “Alright,” you told him, “We have now seen four more dinosaurs then we had before, now le-” “Five,” Gray interrupted. “What?” you looked over at him, “No, there are only four.” You pointed them out, “One, two, three, four-” “Five,” He said, pointing at a reflection in the glass. You all looked up, Zach too, and what you saw almost made your heart stop beating. It was a very large, very angry looking dinosaur with very sharp teeth. Everyone screamed, which woke up the guy next to Zach and then he also started screaming. It’s claws slammed down on the glass, making it shatter as one deadly talon broke through. It tried shaking you loose but all it did was somehow roll the ball onto its glass top. All of a sudden one of the other four dinosaurs hit it with it’s tail, thankfully taking it’s attention off of you for a moment. You tried to use the controls, but to no avail. You started to panic as you couldn’t find Zach’s ball, but you hoped he was ok. The ball shook as the large dinosaur now found the two of you interesting again. Suddenly the ball raised from the ground, taking you and Gray with it, and slammed back down. This happened two more times until you could grab hold of the belts and release them. You and Gray fell down onto soft dirt and sharp glass as you finally made your escape. Finally, the two of you started running as fast and as hard as your legs could manage, you held on to Gray’s hand for dear life, trying to make sure he was keeping up with you. And that’s how you stayed for what seemed like an eternity, running from a humungous dinosaur. Your breath started to run ragged, Gray pulling ahead of you now. You let go of his hand. You were about to become dino food when Zach came running at you from the side, pushing you out of the way as large white jaws came crashing down to where you once stood. With stranger in tow he said, “This way! Run!” You and Gray changed your course. All of a sudden there was a screaming coming from behind you. Whipping your head around you saw that the man was suddenly jerked up from the ground and thrown to the side. Nothing we can do for him now, you thought. Soon the remaining three of you stood at the top of a short waterfall. “We have to jump,” you said. Gray looked up at you, “What? No, I don’t think I can-” “On three,” Zach intervened, “One… two… Three!” The cold water came up to meet you. You all stayed under water until the beast left, and then came crashing to the surface, gasping for air. Crawling to the surface, Zach looked at you, “Hey, why’d you leave?” “You really want to talk about this now?” “Well, I mean, I just wanted to know is all.” You laughed slightly, your chest rising and falling rapidly, “It’s just, well, ok, heres the thing, I saw you looking at those girls on the boat and then just now at the ride and I got, well, jealous. They were all skinnier than me so, well, I guess I just got insecure.” He placed his hand on your shoulders, “To be honest, I kind of was. But, now, I realize that I was so, so wrong. I love you, alright? You could be the size of the moon and there would still be no one else that could ever compare to you. If I was gonna get stuck being dinosaur bait then I’m glad I’m bait with you.” You smiled at him, all of a sudden hearing a voice next to you, “Well, big brother, that really hurts.” Everyone was silent for a moment, in the next, though, everyone was in stitches. It was all cut off when a loud roar came crashing through the jungle. It sounded close. “We’d better go,” you said. And with that, the three of you began your journey to find somebody who knew what they were doing.
