things i would like to see and realistically they could happen:
more screentime for nacho and poc-centric plotlines. if nacho disappears for 2-3 straight episodes with no explanation one more time i’m gonna snap
lalo and nacho interactions after the assassination attempt that bring some more nuance into their relationship. while i love them, a lot of their dynamic happens off-screen and we wanna see it!!!
a nice angsty scene between nacho and his papá that makes me cry
nacho having more autonomy over his choices
mike helping nacho protect manuel
more interactions with mike and nacho in general, their dynamic used to be one of my faves back in the early seasons and i miss that. besides, nacho really needs someone he can trust.

more depth on gus and max’s relationship even if they don’t explore the romantic parts of it; i don’t buy the whole “gus staring at a fountain is peak gay representation” bs. ambiguity to an extent is a part of gus’s character but this is getting ridiculous
following on the development of nacho and lalo’s relationship , i wish they’d go really in-depth into it. this could go so many ways; a cat and mouse kind of dynamic, some sort of hesitation from lalo to kill or hurt nacho because he did mean something to him, maybe the two of them needing to work together to try and take out gus, friends to enemies to heavy homoerotic subtext, i don’t know.
all i want is more depth on relationships in general. i talk about this a lot but i feel like besides kim and jimmy no other dynamic is well explored in this show so it all ends up feeling kind of bland and we have to rely on headcanons to give it the depth we should be seeing on-screen.

They cleaned up quickly. Lalo got dressed in his discarded clothes, but he picked out another outfit for Nacho while he finished up in the shower—his favorite of Nacho’s shirts, which was a deep maroon, and tight black jeans. He handed them to Nacho when he came back into the bedroom.
“No underwear,” he said as Nacho accepted them. “It will make it easier when I decide to fuck you again.”
Nacho smirked. “You serious about screwing me all over the house?”
Lalo pulled him into his arms for a kiss. “How many times do I have to tell you? I always mean what I say.”
“Liar.”
Lalo gave his bottom lip a nibble. “I mean it when it comes to you, amorcito.”
Nacho raised a skeptical eyebrow.
He released him with a chuckle. As Nacho dressed, Lalo surveyed the room with a frown—the rumpled bed, the duffle bags on the floor. This wouldn’t do. He went to the door and poked his head out. “Ciro!” he shouted. “Ciro, get your ass in here!”
A few moments later, Ciro came flying down the hall. “Yes, patrón?” He looked back and forth between them and flushed—it wouldn’t take a genius to figure out what they’d been up to.
Lalo gestured. “Look at this! Our guest’s luggage all over the floor? This is acceptable to you?”
Ciro’s eyebrows furrowed—understandable, since this wasn’t a part of his usual duties. “I-I’m sorry, patrón.”
“Well? Clean it up! Put his things away.” He pointed at him in warning. “And don’t just stuff his clothes in the bureau. Hang them up nice.”
“Yes, patrón.” Ciro set his gun down and went to work.
“And make the bed, too!”
Ciro didn’t turn around, but the back of his neck darkened. “Yes, patrón.”
