I originally made this post 3 years ago but now, finally, both these iconic moments are animated in the breathtaking HD quality they deserve.

I have written two, I guess you could call them character analysis, one about about Annie and one about Eren. The viewpoint I took on those two pieces was that I decided to look at them as soldiers performing under hard conditions. What makes them keep going on even thou they face horror and death, and what is the reason they might crack under pressure. This time the character I want to apply this viewpoint to is Mikasa.
