Amelie by Gracie Abrams
Believe me Natalie by The Killers
Hey Jude by The Beatles
Emily I'm Sorry by boygenius
Dear John by Taylor Swift
Missing June by Miki Ratsula (I'm not completely sure whether it means the month or a person, but it can be a name so)
Ashley by Zolita
Madelyne by gavn!
Matilda by Harry Styles
Heather by Conan Gray
I challenged myself to find all of these in my liked songs playlist on spotify, which made it pretty difficult. Went all over looking for them and analyzing the titles to see if things in them could be names. This really shows most of my music taste lol
I'm now realizing that quite a few of songs by The Killers have names in them, which is interesting. Anyway, this was fun!
thanks for passing it along :)
Tagged by @shinystrawberrymousetrap to list 10 songs with names in the title
Achilles Come Down by Gang of Youths
BILLIE EILISH. by Armani White

Pandora by 2WEI & Edda Hayes
Aaand this is where I have to give up because I don't actually listen to more songs with names in it? Only tracks from films or musicals but those are technically not songs soooo…. yeah😊
Thanks for the tag mate! Tagging anyone who feels up for the challenge
kill the narrative that The Acolyte didnt perform well compared to other Disney shows. The other shows were based on established characters and already had a dedicated fanbase and audience to start with. In contrast The Acolyte introduced us to a completely new era of Star Wars in live action with new original characters. And against all odds, it still performed well. Don’t be misled - The Acolyte is not a failed project. The real failure lies in Disney's reluctance to take risks and allow original ideas to flourish.
Racists will always be mad. But now an entire new generation of black kids get to grow up with black Jedi that aren't just Mace Windu. Bell Zettifar. Kai Brightstar. Yord Fandar. Mae Aniseya. Kelleran Beq. This isn't even all of them but they are in the biggest medias.
I was scrolling through merch and saw kids Kai Brightstar costumes for halloween and my heart exploded remembering when I was in a walmart years ago near halloween and a little black boy ran past me to scream at his mom that he could be Falcon for Halloween. When I was baby sitting my chinese friends little brother and showed him Keenan Kong Chinas Superman and he said "So I can be Superman for Halloween?" Like he at age 10 already thought he couldn't be.
This matters. All the negativity doesn't matter because so many star wars loving families and kids are getting to tune in and for the first time in their lives see so many people reflecting them. Their hair being celebrated and styled completely casually on TV. Their softness and power. Their importance and impact.
Even in Young Jedi Adventures Bell Zettifar spends the episode with Kai teaching him about patience and not being reckless. Bonding together and being a positive almost sibling like relationship. There's a black Princess in the show as well.
Regardless of all the hate and negativity this is so so so important and I tear up thinking about all the little kids and older fans finally seeing this because I know its already brought me to tears

i need need need to have a mini-rant about call it what you want in s4e6 of hsmtmts.
if you rewatch call it what you want in s4e6, you can can clearly see maddox realizing that the song is about her and ashlyn when the camera switches to her after the "are we friends or somethin' better?" in the first verse. it's like she was paying attention before, but now she's like, completely focused on this. I personally feel that you can see some sort of shock in her eyes, realizing that ashlyn just might like her back. anyway. thoughts.
You ever get told by a mutual friend who doesn't know who you crush is that your crush used to like you but now knows someone else and then your crush actually confirms that and you feel like you completely missed your chance but they still keep acting really involved with you and like they still might have a crush on you so there are way too many mixed messages and you are soo confused? Yeah it's fun. :)
