self concept 101
okay students, class is in session and the assignment we’re focusing on is worth 100% of your grade in the assignment of your life. no pressure, right? except… it kinda is. because everything you experience, your relationships, your money, your looks, your success, it’s all filtered through the lens of your self-concept.
self-concept is the story you tell about yourself when no one’s listening. it’s the identity you live in, consciously or unconsciously. it’s the silent assumptions that run on autopilot like, “i’m never chosen,” “nothing ever works out for me,” “i’m not enough,” “people always leave,” or even “i’m that girl,” “i’m magnetic,” “everything works in my favour.”
those aren’t just thoughts. they’re blueprints. they create the framework your reality has to follow. because your outer world is just your inner world, externalised.
so if you walk through life with the self-concept of someone who always gets second best, your reality will match that. not because you deserve it, but because you believe it. and if you shift to a self-concept of someone who is deeply loved, always thriving, lucky, powerful, guess what? your world has no choice but to realign.
got it omg, here’s the cleaned-up version just how you like it:
here’s your homework, due immediately, with no extensions, sorry babes, life waits for no one…it’s all just now.
1. observe your internal dialogue
spend one whole day listening to your thoughts like they’re playing on a speaker, what do you actually think about yourself, not what you want to believe, but what you’ve been unconsciously affirming, catch the sneaky ones too, “i’m always so awkward,” “i’ll never look like that,” “ugh, of course this would happen to me,” these aren’t harmless little quips, these are energetic declarations
write them down, seriously, make a list of the self-concept you’ve been unknowingly living by
2. rewrite your identity
now take that list and write the exact opposite, this is your new self-concept, “i’m always chosen,” “i’m magnetic and people adore me,” “i’m a master at my craft,” “my beauty is undeniable”
this isn’t toxic positivity, it’s identity design, choose the story you want to live by and start being the main character who lives by that script, you don’t wait for proof to act like her, you assume the role and reality fills in the blanks
3. persist in your new self
this is the part most people flake on, but not you, because real change comes from repetition, from living the new story until it hardwires into your nervous system, so no, you don’t just write your affirmations once and call it a day, you say them out loud, in the mirror, in the shower, under your breath
you imagine yourself as her when you’re walking down the street, you refuse to entertain old stories that try to creep in, this is devotion, this is embodiment
and lastly, you don’t need validation, this homework is not about impressing others, it’s not about being seen, it’s about seeing yourself clearly, fully, and powerfully, once that clicks, your entire world will mirror it back
hand in your new self daily, you’re the teacher and the student here, and you’re getting an A+ obviously
class dismissed…but, the assignment is ongoing so you better get to working! 👩🏫
When Javed Akhtar wrote and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan sang, "Chehra uska hai ya koi mahtaab hai."
When Richard Siken wrote, "You were pointing at the moon and I was looking at your hand."
When Iftikhar Naseem said, "Us ke chehre ki chamak ke samne saada laga, asmaan pe chand pura tha magar aadha laga."
⌇ᝰ How i manifested my sp in one day.
I just visualized and affirmed. Literally, just it.
It was easier than I originally thought. One night I did a script of him! I didn't necessarily manifest from 0, I just changed attitudes and how I wanted our relationship to be. Then i put some music that remind me of him, and then i lay down and start imagine, when i first met him, but i was changing it, i imagined that when he first meet me he was like "omg i need her" yk? And then i just imagined one moment that him comes to me and asked me to be his girlfriend bla bla bla, okay, then next day EVERYTHING happened, that easily.
Imagination is SUPER Underrated sometimes. Like, you can and ALWAYS manifest just imagining, because there's no actually difference between the physical (3d) and mental/imagination (4d), the 3d is a reflex of 4d, and imagination is the 4d too, so when you imagine your manifestation, you're living it, so girl, just do it.
Mars nakshatras are very sensitive to having energy projected onto them. They do NOT like a beg and are very quick to view someone as desperate/weird.
Not necessarily avoidants because they can chase others or act desperate themselves but as soon as it comes towards them from a source outside their personal bubble, they can be repulsed very quickly. Even if it’s not from a place of judgement, they definitely get overwhelmed.
I’ve known many instances where they’ve ended relationships over the other person being too clingy or affectionate, but that as a specific example is kind of dependent on what kind of person they attract and other planet influences.
I’ve mainly observed this personally but the main celeb instance of this is Chappell Roan (Chitra asc). Just to be clear- I think the way people feel entitled to violate celebrities’ privacy is fucking weird and she has every right to be upset (ppl literally stalked her family!!). But from an observational perspective, the negative reaction she had after people suddenly started perceiving and projecting energy onto her en masse, especially in comparison to other celebrities, was definitely more prominent.
You could tell she was very overwhelmed and even wanted to do less in order to avoid the spotlight. Meanwhile someone with stronger (just a random example) rahu influence would chase the high of attention and maybe suffer to a lesser extent in this kind of situation
Going back to speaking generally, they usually thrive in relationships with people who are laidback and independent on some level. Maybe a little aloof but still being emotionally present
I saw someone bring up recently in a post (if that was you, I’m sorry I can’t remember 😭I’ll link if I see it again) the whole mars men x older women dynamic and how they like someone with a stronger sense of self that won’t rely on them as much. They don’t like the idea of being a provider for someone needy who relies on them to emotionally regulate.
Mars nak natives when you need them a little too much:

For those who never heard of Nakshatra qualities, these are described as Chara, Sthira, Mrdu, Ugra, Tikshna, Kshipra and Mishra.
It is important to realise, that these descriptions show not just what activities will a given Nakshatra undertake, but how it operates, and if you look at your Moon Nakshatra, you will see that its quality will reflect your basic nature of being. However, that doesn't mean that all Nakshatras from the same group have the same interests/jobs/interests/always do the same thing. It's more about how people "take up space" energetically, the style in which they bring about change.
Chara Nakshatra - "Moveable" - Shravana, Dhanishta, Shatabhisha, Punarvasu and Swati.
The word I would associate with those Nakshatras, more than simply moveable, is "dynamic". You can see it best perhaps in Dhanishta, that is notorious for its amazing natural sense of rhythm and association with dancing and being in the public eye. However, even Shatabhisha, that moves in the shadows, has a certain rhythm to it, coupled with restlessness. The energy here is breezy and flowing, and you can see it in those natives, even if they just sit and talk, that they are decidedly and constantly animated.
Sthira Nakshatra - "Fixed" - Rohini, Uttaraphalguni, Uttarashadha and Uttarabhadrapada.
The energy here is of a person in position of authority sitting on a throne and establishing something durable. I associate this Nakshatra group with authority, because there is something passively steady and indomitable about them. Their authority is a given, they are in their place and they don't feel the need to go out of their way to prove it, instead they build upon who they are. This is why this Nakshatra group in traditional Vedic sources is associated with making firm, long term decisions, as these people lay foundations for things that all the other Nakshatras build upon. Their position of authority often comes from the fact, that decision making and authority often goes hand in hand. While the moveable Nakshatras make waves in motion, fixed Nakshatras can change the fate of the entire collective from their steady position with one decision.
Mrdu Nakshatra - "Tender" - Chitra, Anuradha, Mrigashira and Revati.
These Nakshatras relate to feelings and creations that are fleeting yet eternal at the same time. There is a certain contradiction here, as these natives may appear outwardly defensive, but that defensiveness is born out of necessity in a harsh world and hides deep sensitivity, and if you talk to them more, you will see their softer side, their attachment to beauty and harmony, and their fear of losing that serenity. Traditional Vedic sources point out their connection to subtlety of music, delicate, precious newly purchased things or clothing. More than the objects themselves, it's about the thrill of happiness such experiences give you. And even if they last not more than a moment, the reality of these Nakshatras is their sensitivity of creation and perception, their ability to see, that beauty and intricate delicacy can be found anywhere, and while you can never fundamentally shield it from all harm, it will always pop up in the world somewhere else, just like a flower, even if picked, will regrow next spring.
Ugra Nakshatra - "Violent" - Bharani, Magha, Purvaphalguni, Purvashadha, and Purvabhadrapada.
The main theme of these Nakshatras is conquest, and while of course not all of these natives are interested in traditional warfare, these are the kind of people that occupy 100% of any space they are in and like to set the rules with their presence. Their naturally fierce presence can make them incredibly successful with the demands of the modern world, but even a housewife with Ugra Nakshatra is a force to be reckoned with. The conquest here can have multiple meanings, and gains a decidedly creative, romantic and sexual nature in Venusian Purva Phalguni and Purva Ashadha, to conquer one's object of sexual desire. However, the energy here is really about internally conquering one's own weaknesses and wrestling with the animalistic, expansive desirous aspect of human nature.
Tikshna Nakshatra - "Sharp" - Moola, Jyeshta, Ardra and Ashlesha.
The real task of these Nakshatras is putting other people back in their place. While the fixed Nakshatras have a natural, calm authority coming from status, and violent Nakshatras can be intimidating, sharp Nakshatras automatically gain respect with their presence, because they are so ready to regulate people who are out of line. Their "sharpness" is required for that energy to effective against others, especially since some Nakshatras like Ugra will not back down easily. However, unlike Ugra, these Nakshatras correct and regulate rather than express desire for outwards conquest, relying more on handling things, that are already out there, making these natives excellent in managerial positions. You can think of it in the context of Ardra being a passionate activist and critic of established social systems.
Kshipra Nakshatra - "Swift" - Ashwini, Pushya and Hasta.
These Nakshatras operate in short but intense bursts of energy. Hasta is a good example, as it embodies the traditional business transaction - money and goods exchange hands, the deed is done, the seller moves on to the next one. Same with Pushya and spiritual teaching, delivering quick but valuable lessons and moving on to another student/activity/rest. The focus here is on efficiency and maximising good energy through limited an realistic potential.
Mishra Nakshatra - "Mixed" - Krittika and Vishakha.
An interesting aspect of these Nakshatras comes from how Vedic astrologers link them both to laying out furniture, electronics and fire rituals. You would think these two activities have nothing in common, but they are actually the key to the ceremonial nature of these Nakshatras. In modern households, few houses have a fireplace, but fire pits in the middle of the main living space used to be traditional in old houses, to keep them warm and for religious purposes. In the 21st century, a grand television set is god, and coupled with a comfortable couch it is what sets the scene in a home. And this is what these Nakshatras do, energetically, set the scene both for worship and to be worshipped, establishing a relationship between the viewer and the viewed. For that reason, there is a sense of fiery dramatism in these Nakshatras, ready to both worship and be worshipped at any given time.
why do men want to be gynecologists? why? why. gynecology is for females and should be practiced solely by women imo
reality is old news. what you are seeing is just a delayed projection of past assumptions. do not react to it. do not engage with it. it is a rerun of a show you no longer care about. the moment you stop feeding into the contradictions, they wither. the moment you accept that what you want is already done, reality will course-correct. until then, it is an echo chamber of your previous doubts.
Looking back at my post regarding ketu and Venus I have to say I may consider Venus not the full incarnation but the creation and passage into incarnation. Sun is the fully realized consciousness. Ketu is the raw and unformed cellular data the force of life, Venus is the refinement and passage into life and the sun is the fully realized life form and incarnation.
This conclusion is tied to the “first” nakshatras Ashwini and Bharani, but learned that Krittika is sometimes considered the first nakshatra. This makes sense when you take into account Revati being the guide into the other side and transcendence, Ashwini being the unconscious and rawness of the void, Bharani being the passage into the next life and Krittika being the ‘first man’ or the first realized conscious.
DISCLAIMER, Just because I have shifted before doesn’t mean I am the Library of Alexandria. I’m a person just like you, learning as I go so I don’t have the answer to everything but I do try! I’m also not saying any of this will absolutely, 100% make you shift, but hopefully it can provide some perspective or insight into something you hadn’t thought about! !!! ANTIS DNI !!!
LANGUAGE — I’ve noticed since I first got into shifting that shifters will talk about/treat these realities like fanfiction or a role playing kinda thing??? It confused me before I had shifted because if this is real then why are people talking about themselves in the third person, or referring to others as “npc/non main characters”, or scripting in some crazy trauma for “fun”??? If you read anything of mine, you will notice I do not use words like “main character” or even “desired reality” because for me personally, it’s just reinforcing in my mind that this is not something that’s real or even close to something I can achieve.
Cut out third person language entirely. Stop referring to your “failed shifting attempts” as such, in fact, stop referencing it AT ALL. Stop keeping track. Stop referring to people in these realities as “main characters” or “npcs.” Stop coming back from an attempt thinking “damn I didn’t shift.”
INSTEAD, start saying that you shifted every time you attempt. “But I woke up in my O.R” who says? only you have a say in whatever reality you want to live in. Fake it til you make it. Start talking about people as they are, people. Use their names or nicknames. Watch a TikTok and think to yourself “yeah I’d send this to them.” FEEELLLLL IT. MAKE IT REAL TO YOUUUU.
LOGIC — After successfully shifting, I don’t tend to think about the “science” or “spiritual” side anymore BUT this is the logic that makes the most sense to me and is the simplest explanation I can think of. When you wake up in the morning, do you first check your phone or stand up to brush your teeth or stretch? Whatever path you choose is a shift in your reality. Every single choice you’ve ever made is a shift in your reality. As far as you know, if you checked your phone instead of stretching, you might pull something later on in the day that you wouldn’t have pulled had you stretched. But you didn’t. And now there’s a reality where you stretched, did the exact things, and didn’t pull a muscle because you stretched that morning.
THAT is reality shifting in its simplest form.
Manifesting can even be considered reality shifting because you’re shifting your current consciousness into one that is receiving said manifestion. The universe is infinite. Do not let the constrictions of others constrain you too.
“Yeah you can shift realities but not to those fantasy places like hogwarts, that’s not possible” why not? If you’ve just admitted can shift realities, why are “fantasy” realities so different to you? Because HERE in THIS reality, they are fantasy. In that reality, it is everyday, it is normal, it’s just another Tuesday. Shifting is simply becoming aware of your consciousness in another reality, similar to switching characters in video game like The Sims 4, from one plumbob to another and yes, that easy.
MEDITATION — You don’t need anything to shift realistically, but the one thing I recommend for anything is meditating. It’s a skill and, like any other, one that can be refined and perfected over time. Learning to get into a state of pure consciousness is a practice that existed for centuries, anybody can do it and doing it will only ever benefit you. You can meditate when you wake up, before you fall asleep, when you’re sitting up, WHENEVER! I’ve always felt better after a meditation, shifting related or not. It also helps me feel better when I don’t end up shifting because at least I’ve honed in and practiced that meditation technique, yk? Positives in everything!
OTHER PRACTICES — If nothing else, I recommend trying different spiritual practices and adding a lil sprinkle of shifting in there! This applies to religion as well in case that isn’t clear lol. If you don’t follow any specific spiritual practice, try pegan spell work (with protection and research ofc), research any herbs that aid in things like enhancing spiritual energy. If you pray to a God, you can “work” with your God in a sense to aid you in this personal journey, whether that be through journaling or actual prayer, prayer is an amazing manifestion technique and I do believe it can help with reality shifting considering it’s not against any religions. And if you don’t want to do any of this, come up with something for you and you only! A ritual can be anything you make it. You decide what works for you at the end of the day.
REMOVAL — This helped me the most in my opinion, I completely stepped away from online communities doing anything with reality shifting ( specifically shifttok ) and followed my own intuition of how to go about shifting, doing shadow work to figure out any blockages/questions I had, and just overall made shifting fun again for myself! The main thing I did was learn more about manifesting because the manifestion community does NOT play, they do not believe in limitations and they love LOA(ssumption) which is my fav so!
LUCID DREAMING — Not the actual act of lucid dreaming but learning about lucid dreaming and astral projection really makes you understand that anti shifters are so ignorant to what these things actually are it’s insane! People didn’t even believe that you could control your dreams 10-20 years ago, they genuinely thought dreams were just something that happens to you. Nowadays, we obviously know that you can control your dreams but this is just proof that nobody knows what they’re talking about fr. I guarantee you, a few years from now, people are gonna be talking about reality shifting the same way they talk about lucid dreaming, CASUALLY. Reality shifting is not some big thing of grandeur that only “special” people can do, the same way everyone can lucid dream, is the same way everyone can reality shift, and astral project.
All this is to say, stop fucking listening to other people LMAOOO. That’s gonna be my advice every single time because too much of anything will become a problem. Advice is good when you’re starting out and I don’t mind giving advice on that, but nobody knows you better than you know yourself, even if you don’t think you know what to do, I PROMISE you on everything, you know what’s best for you. You know what works, and you know what doesn’t, YOU KNOW. Believe yourself. Nobody else matters.
“you are the light. it’s not on you, it’s in you. don’t you ever in your motherfucking
life dim your light for nobody.”
