Because the power behind every action comes from the individual. Doing away with guns will stop no one from going out there and finding another way to murder mass groups of people. What will we be left to defend ourselves with? Just like abortion, it’s a heart issue. Believing that guns are the problem and not people is a heart issue. I’ve been really put off by the infighting I’ve noticed creep into the fandom and it’s frankly ridiculous. If you don’t like a blog or a post, don’t interact. PERIOD. Debating a point is fine if you’re being civil about it, but don’t go onto other people’s blogs and harass them. It’s seriously just anti behavior within the fandom itself (as if Reylo’s needed that).

but can you actually imagine ben & rey meeting up for the first time after who knows how long in TROS and they’re both so on EDGE — rey‘s been blocking the bond and struggling to connect with the Force and ben’s been out looking for her and trying to reach out only to hit a wall every single time — so they’re both angry and frustrated and out of balance and now that they’re finally face to face the bond snaps open and everything comes pouring out and they’re both like, “FIGHT ME” except it quickly turns into “KISS ME” because let’s be real, all this aggression is simply a very serious case of pent up UST
