You Can Also See Daisy’s Tattoo Under Her Ear In The Reshoot

I don’t think Disney actually gets why everyone is so upset about Ben Solo. 

He was the first non-toxically masculine and emotionally vulnerable male character in a big movie franchise. He was a byronic hero and was a character that was written incorporating the female and queer audience. Also incorporated the men who were relentlessly ridiculed for having any amount of emotional intelligence and vulnerability growing up. He cried. He held the hand of his lover and told her that she wasn’t alone. He begged her for companionship. He was human and loving. He wasn’t a caricature “villain,” just a broken boy who was hiding behind a mask to protect himself. 

And then you kept the pew pew flyboy alive to satisfy the dudebros and killed off the actually complex and well-rounded male character. 

That is sickening. 

So…. do we all agree that this is the big turning point in the movie? And assuming this is all from the same scene, isn’t it interesting how he’s wearing the helmet in the artwork but not in the film footage?

She did say “becoming besties with you was the best thing” in an interview she & Adam did together. Like stated previously; they’re both very busy doing different things. That doesn’t mean they’re not friendly or friends.

I feel like Adam and Daisy aren’t friends but just have like a, cordial professional relationship. Which is absolutely fine! Not everyone in the cast will be personal friends. I just hate to see people get their expectations up, because I frankly don’t think Daisy is going to go see his play

you know there are varying levels of friendship, right? no one is saying they’re best friends (Adam doesn’t seem like he has the time or personality for a whole lot of best friends anyway lol) but they’re friends enough that Daisy has called him to ask for career advice before and gone for ‘a drinky-poo’ with him at the pub while they were filming and Adam has said he could ‘listen to her talk all day.’

and if she doesn’t go to Burn This, it’d most likely be because of a scheduling issue. it’s not just about Adam and Daisy, it’s a critically acclaimed Tony-nominated play that not one but two of her costars are in, and Oscar and Rian and other people she knows have also gone to see and probably recommended to all their friends, and Adam’s performance in it is quite frankly ART and something other artists want to witness even if they’re not his friend

all these leaks about a test screening, different ending where ben lives, with babies, Ireland sets filming... it's all making me more angry, depressed... how could they possibly screw up so badly? so greedy, so afraid of the fanboys, trolls.... erasing characters, bringing a trio (tm) no one ever asked. and Rey ALONE. "you're so lonely. so afraid to leave. at night desperate to sleep you imagine a ocean. i see the island. and... Ben Solo."

Ok yep this just screams reylo. So many parallels and I’m loving it.

Spoilers for Ruin and Rising but if you love reylo I suggest reading shadow and bone trilogy. I still haven’t finished it though but love a good hero x villain romantic connection
