we all got really lucky that alexander fleming wasn’t allergic to penicillin huh
so my apartment building got a notice board to post fire alarm tests and maintenance announcements and such. the building is pretty well-maintained, so we rarely get notices. the board is big and grey and to think it would be empty like that 99% of the time was a bland boring sin i just couldn't bear, so i vandalized the corner of its empty canvas with a teeny tiny Guy
and within a few days, there was a sudden addition from my one of my neighbors along with a Bunch of thumbtacks. this was an unexpected, but welcome surprise!
well there was still so much space, i figured i'd add another crumb to the art hoard. i'd been playing genshin that day so i drew my favorite grandpa
and like clockwork, new art manifested!! this person is gonna grow to be a great artist i know it. the detail in those stones? hell yeah that's cool.
we're two weeks into it. more neighbors have joined in with their artwork. who knew there were so many artists in my building?? we're onto somethin great here i just know it.
I wonder if anyone has written a novel with a character from a stereotypical sci-fi world being transported to a stereotypical fantasy one and if so what it is cause I'm hella curious as to what that would look like
Or even better a sci-fi and a fantasy character both get transported to like a contemporary real world setting and the whole thing is just a comedy of these two people who are so far out of their normal but in different ways.
am scared

so was just thinking about the yj!cartoon and there was so much they could have done with the character of Superboy just. figuring out how to be human. Like think about it Cadmus programmed him with what they thought were the essentials but he had never experienced these things so how weird would it be for him to experience it for the first time like how who he react to just crying for the first time? He would know what it is be still be new to the experience
You know what? Fuck it. Reblog this post gushing about your current hyperfixation. Idc what it is. Strawberries? Talk about how much you love them and what cool stuff you know about them. A TV show or book? Make long paragraphs gushing about it. Idc. Need to see more people talking about their hyoerfixations.
Someone should write a my hero fix where class 1-A is rewound back to just before everything went down (mind remembers all). Just imagine the confusion and chaos they could get up to knowing each other and the events of the story in advance.
so finished reading Margaret Rogerson's "Sorcery of Thorns" and I need to get them out. First off I enjoyed this book the main character Elisabeth was interesting and her growth was fun to watch, the love interest Nathaniel was a smart-ass and that was just really funny to me but the blurb (??is that how you spell the summary of the back idk but that thing) called him her "sworn enemy" which was just ?no? she was confused and wary towards him due to preconceived ideas about sorcery but he was hardly an enemy in her mind so bit misleading, there were a lot of moments of humour (mostly from Nathaniel by being a smart-ass but other characters definitely also contributed as well)
Overall, a fun read and would recommend to others
