My main complaint about the Barbie movie is that John Cena didn't get enough screen time.

Honestly, until further notice, I'm just going to assume that Jakob survived and is now in Portugal somewhere, recovering and biding his time, up until the moment Hobbs arrives on his doorstep.

and in saying that, I've been conjuring a fic in my mind about these two going after the same girl. bc why not 😍

Imagine waking up in the middle of the night and hearing noises coming from your kitchen. You go downstairs thinking it's just the cat and find a shirtless Jakob standing there, stitching himself up.

Before you can even scream, he covers your hand with his mouth and explains he'll be out of your hair in a couple minutes. You don't know why but something about the look in his eyes makes you relent.

While Jakob cleans his wounds, you grab antibiotic ointment from the medicine cabinet and bring it to him. Sure, you don't know a thing about this random guy in your house but you do know a thing or two about taking care of yourself.

He smiles and thanks you, then asks if you've got any liquor lying around. Jakob could really do with a drink right now.

A shot or two later, the two of you are sitting on the couch, staring at each other. You've already bandaged the gunshot wound to his shoulder, but the voice in the back of your head says you should check him for injuries.

Properly.

Maybe it's the look in your eyes but Jakob lifts his right index finger and crooks it, making a 'come here' gesture. You slide over the couch and tell him what you want to do.

His hands go to his belt buckle and Jakob undoes it, sliding his jeans down his long muscular legs. There's no mistaking the bulge concealed by his briefs, or the sheer size of him. Make no mistake, Jakob is a man, and as he grasps your chin with his fingers and smiles, your breath hitches in your throat.

"Everything means everything, right?" Jakob asks.

"Yes."

He hooks his briefs with his thumbs and drags them down slowly, allowing you to examine Jakob much closer than you thought you'd be.

"No injuries. That's good," you murmur, giving a noise of approval, and gently wrap your hand around him. "Now let's check the rest of you, shall we?"
