Blue Lock Characters And The Way They Pine After You

Blue Lock characters and the way they pine after you

Characters: Isagi, Bachira, Rin & Kaiser x reader

Disclaimer: Don't take anything to heart, everything I write is from my perspective and how I perceive characters, so if it's OOC yeah, that's kind of sad. Now enjoy! :)

-----------------------------------

Blue Lock Characters And The Way They Pine After You

Isagi Yoichi

Obvious and clingy pining

When Isagi Yoichi has a crush, he becomes a stuttering and blushing mess whenever you come near. It's literally so obvious that his friends snicker behind him whenever his head immediately shoots to the direction where he'd heard your voice or name, or when his gaze lingers on you longer than would be considered normal.

Though, despite him becoming flushed by your presence, he will actively seak out your company.

Going to the grocery? You can count on him to follow you. Cooking? He might not be a Michelin chef, but he'll offer you his help. (Spoiler alert: he did not help. He's absolutely a disaster in the kitchen). Watching a movie? He'll sit near you, mabe not that close that your ellbows would be touching, but close enough to feel his body warmth.

His friends tease him about his obvious behaviour, but when it comes to you, he's an utterly useless sap.

And well, who could blame him?

----------------------------------------------------

Blue Lock Characters And The Way They Pine After You

Bachira Meguru

Attention seeking and tactile pining

Bachira Meguru is tactile. But moreso when he has a crush.

Whenever you would be walking side by side, it's a given that his arms would occasionally brush yours. When you look up, he'll give you the most cheeky and warm grin known to mankind.

Just know that hugs are a daily occurence when Bachira is involved. Cuddling against each other on the couch when watching a movie, to a side hug with his nose pressing into your shoulder whenever you're cooking.

And, well, Bachira Meguru is a ball of sunshine, and he needs your attention to shine even brighter.

When your eyes drift over to someone else, or you're too long upholding a conversation with someone that isn't him, he'll become extra loud and whiny, frequently pulling your arm and pouting, until you finally relent, and give him your full attention, all the while profuselt apologising to the other person.

A few minutes later, when your eyes are only for him, he'll beam at you and go on on his merry way. Any trace of his childish pouting disappeared from his face.

----------------------------------------------------

Blue Lock Characters And The Way They Pine After You

Itoshi Rin

Small acts of service and remembering details pining

Okay, let's be real. Itoshi Rin is a little bit emotionally stunted, so he would definitely not be obvious in his pining.

The trick lies in the more finer details. For example him bringing an extra hairtie or umbrella, because he knows you'll forget yours. He'll hand you to the item, without looking you into the eye, grumbling a "no problem" underneath his breath. But if you look closer, you'll see the tips of his ears turn slightly red.

And when you talk, he might appear disinterested, with his aloof air, the constant sighing and the stoic set of his eyes, but he'll remember a passing detail from a conversation from weeks ago, and bring it up later.

----------------------------------------------------

Blue Lock Characters And The Way They Pine After You

Michael Kaiser

Touchy and flaunting pining

Michael Kaiser is a flashy guy. Everthing he does is humongous, perfect, and absolutely so him. (Aka; outstanding, but with the best intentions).

He'll never pass up the opportunity to talk about you, or if that isn't possible, he'll make sure that everyone knows that you belong with him. A selfie with him on his socials? His socials consist of 95% of you. Bringing your name up during interviews? Watch the Youtube compilations of "Michael Kaiser being in love for ten minutes straight". And of course, having you attend all his football games, making sure that there's always a seat reserved for you.

But outside from that, Michael Kaiser is also, a really, tactile guy. Whenever in passing, he'll card his hands through your locks, enjoying the feeling of your silky hair brushing against his fingertips. Or when someone else will come too close to you, he'll draw his arm around your middle, pulling you flush against him, all the while whispering sweet nothings in your ear, and shooting complacent looks at the other person.

After all, what were they, compared to him?

Girldad! Rin x reader, where he took hours to do your daughter's hair, only to make a complete mess.

Girldad! Rin X Reader, Where He Took Hours To Do Your Daughter's Hair, Only To Make A Complete Mess.

"Be honest," Rin asked your daughter as you watched the two planted in front of the dressing for an hour now, "is it okay?"

The toddler stared at her reflection for a long time, making Rin visibly panic. Either the hair styling tutorial he followed was faulty, or his skills were. He was self aware enough to know it was the latter.

"It's okay." she mumbled.

"I said be honest," he grasped her shoulders, staring at her reflection, "is it like mom does it?"

You fail at holding back your laugh, and Rin glares at you, disappointment dripping off his face as he finds you sprawled on the bed, living your best life while watching him struggle.

"It's…" the toddler struggles, "good. Really."

It was anything but good, and all three of you knew that.

"Be honest." Rin commands. A minute passes.

"It's bad." she admits, causing you to roar with laughter.

Rin ignores you, but your daughter doesn't give him the chance to sulk as she pats his shoulder and smiles,

"It's bad but I like it." her small palms grab his face and you melt at the sight as she stares into his eyes and nods, "Can you do them tomorrow also?"

Rin, despite his shitty hair styling skills, took pride in that and continued ruining your daughter's hairdo for weeks, no matter how hard he tried.

Bllk boyfriend headcanons<3

⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ ˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆

Boyfriend! Isagi who would never miss out the chance of giving you one of his jersey's to wear. He would never admit it but the way he felt seeing his name on your back, his number. Truly made him feel like you were his (ofc you always saw the he blushed when you wore them tho<3)

...

"Yoichi..? Are you okay?" you smile softly whilst laying on your stomach on his bed. He'd make sure to always have time every day to hang out.

Your boyfriend stood there in the doorway in some sort of gaze. God he loved the way his name was splayed out across your back.

His cheeks heated up.

"y-yeah.. Just thinking about something" he mumbled back, shutting the door behind him.

"why don't you come think about it on the bed with me?"

He couldn't resist you...

>>>>>

Boyfriend! Bachira that constantly peppers your face with kisses and cannot keep his hands off of you! You're sitting alone on his bed? Cuddles! Walking with him? You bet he's holding your hand. Just be prepared to be bombarded with physical touch.

...

"Meg- that tickles" your sweet voice cuts through, trying to hide your neck as Bachira covers your shoulders with quick little kisses.

How could he resist!

You wore that strappy top that revealed your perfect skin. You tasted so sweet he could just eat you up for the rest of his life.

"just a few more!- peck, missed you today"

"-we only haven't seen each other for a few hours!"

"I know- too long. Now stay still"

>>>>>

Boyfriend! Rin that acts nonchalant when out in public but acts all soft when just with you. He may not act like it all the time but trust when I say this man is head over heels for you and he'll definitely show it when jealous... He makes sure to let everyone know you're his after<3

...

Today was one of the rare days that Rin was free from all the training that he did.

"Rin! Isn't this shirt so cute?" You pulled out another shirt from the rack, showing it to your boyfriend who already had a handful of bags stacking up on his arms.

"Don't you already have one like that?" He muttered, raising an eyebrow as he looked at you.

"you just don't get it" huffing as you check out the shirt more.

Rin sighed, looking around the store before his eyes caught onto something. More like.. Someone.

Was that employee looking at you?

Eurgh. Not on his watch.

At an instant, he linked your arm with his, taking the shirt from your hands.

"We're going"

"But the shirt-"

"We'll buy it- let's go"

You left the store with a new shirt and a much more clingy Rin on your hands.

>>>>>

Boyfriend! Nagi who acts needy and helpless whenever you are near him. Everything suddenly becomes a hassle that requires your help. He swears that without you sitting in his lap, he'd lose at every single videogame.

...

"Just one more game pretty" Nagi held you tighter in his grip making sure you were secure.

"You said that last match.. And the one before that.."

"Yeah but I'm on a win streak.. Please, you're my good luck charm" he huffed, keeping you in place as his thumbs tapped on his phone.

You shuffled in his lap, figuring you should at least get comfortable. You're gonna be here for a while...

*Pokes my head through your window* Good morning, may I request: Blue Lock boys with a Reader who insists they drink the homemade herbal tea she made first thing in the morning. Characters: Chigiri, Yukimiya, any other characters you want Because seriously, why did Chigiri or Yukimiya never consider TCM as an option?

*Pokes My Head Through Your Window* Good Morning, May I Request: Blue Lock Boys With A Reader Who Insists

a/n: Opens window wider and hands you a warm mug of tea, hi!! Omg thank you for requesting so much!! Back when i was little i used to looove herbal tea HAHAHA (i still do) enjoyy the oneshot !!

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷

When you force them to drink homemade herbal tea

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷

Chigiri Hyoma

At first, he was suspicious. You handed him a steaming mug of herbal tea and said it was good for his joints, circulation, and mental clarity.

“I don’t even like tea.” But you gave him those eyes—the ones that said, “Drink it or I’ll guilt trip you until you do.”

So he drank it.

…And then he asked for another cup the next day.

Now it’s a quiet little ritual. You hand him his tea, he grumbles a bit, but he always drinks it before his stretches. Secretly? He feels better. His knees hurt less. His hair’s shinier. He blames you.

“Don’t think I believe in your witchy magic, but… thanks.”

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷

Yukimiya Kenyu

He already reads about holistic beauty practices, so he’s immediately intrigued.

“You made this? What’s in it? Goji berries? Chrysanthemum?” He’s naming ingredients like a TCM pro.

You’re impressed, and he’s smug.

Yukimiya drinks it with poise every morning like he’s at a luxury wellness retreat.

Claims it enhances his glow. And honestly? It kinda does.

“You should consider bottling this. Imagine the branding: ‘Mornings with You.’”

Flirts with you every single morning while sipping your tea.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷

BONUS !! Michael Kaiser

“Nein.”

That was his first reaction.

But you didn’t ask—you just placed the mug in his hands with a knowing smile.

He took one sip and made the most dramatic face.

“This tastes like dirt and flowers. Why are you trying to poison me?”

Yet the next morning, he was already at the table, cup in hand, waiting.

He never admits it, but he needs it now. He says it’s for “performance optimization.”

Will still grimace and complain every time.

“Ich hasse dich.” (I hate you.)

But he’ll nudge your hand under the table when no one’s looking.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷

A suprise one yay !!

Rin Itoshi

You knew this one would be tough.

You placed the mug gently in front of him one morning. “It’s good for stress regulation and emotional balance,” you said sweetly.

He stared at it like it insulted his entire bloodline.

“I’m fine.”

You gave him the look. The “drink it or I’ll haunt your training schedule” look.

He sighs, mutters something under his breath, and takes a sip like he’s being tortured.

He pauses. Blinks.

“…It’s not bad.”

The next day? He takes it without a word.

After a week? He waits for it before starting anything else.

If you’re late even by one minute, he’ll act like you’ve personally betrayed him.

“Where’s the tea? Don’t slack off.” (Sir, you’re drinking flowers and dates for emotional balance. Relax.)

Secretly… he likes how warm it makes his hands feel. But if you mention it, he’ll walk away.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷

Thank you soso much for reading !! I may have made gotten overboard at rin's part...

ON MY KNEES BEGGING PLEASE MORE KAISER X HOGWARTS AU PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🫡

characters ; slytherin!kaiser, professor!kaiser | wc ; 1.9k contains ; hogwarts au, aged-up characters, kind of major character death (?), gn!reader, no pronouns used, not edited as of 02/17

ON MY KNEES BEGGING PLEASE MORE KAISER X HOGWARTS AU PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🫡

i'm gonna come back to the present with this one, where you and kaiser are years older, both respectable professors with a rivalry that just cannot die down for the life of itself. he's preparing a boggart for tomorrow's class period for his defense against the dark arts class, watching as some of the academy's attendants roll in an antiqe grandfather clock, where it shakes violently on the cart despite all the chains its confined in.

it had been awhile since he had faced a boggart, he thinks to himself as the attendants settle the clock down with a loud thud. he figures he has to tame it it for a bit to be suitable for the children—apparent enough so that the lesson can be taught properly, but not so much so that it'd harm them (though, he does supposes that one bratty gryffindor third year could do with some discipline).

he mutters an appreciation of thanks to the attendants that leave, giving them their respects to one of hogwarts acclaimed professors of the decade. kaiser eyes the chains on the clock and casts a spell that retracts them from the clock. the shaking eventually settles itself down, now with less restrictions to confine the creature it holds. kaiser sighs and cracks his necks free of tension, removing his reading glasses and wanting to get this over with so he can hurry up and attend his final duties for tonight.

he was fourteen when he confronted a boggart for the first time. it was in front of anyone that he revealed his worst fear was his very own father, and the boggart stood before him in the shape of his old man the last time he saw him before he was taken away and left kaiser to fend for himself as an orphan. there he stood in front of kaiser—in a greasy wifebeater stained with beer and striped underpants that just barely covered himself. a large scowl appeared on his face, the last emotion kaiser saw on him before a couple of aurors took him away from that wretched home.

now in his late twenties, kaiser can't imagine that much has changed. he's seen and dealt with things much more horrifying than a drunken father, but his courage withstood all, and the fear was short-lived. the image of his father, however, still managed to stain his head even after all these years.

as he circles his desk, he stares at the grandfather clock, cocking a brow when it begins to shudder again the closer he comes to it; as though it can sense his presence. he waits patiently, his wand at the ready in his hand as the pendulum door slowly opens with a familiar hand creeping out. kaiser's eyes narrow, recognizing the wedding band that wounds itself around a swollen finger.

eventually, the figure of his father steps out of the case, deep blue eyes that match kaiser's own staring directly up at him. kaiser was only barely four feet tall when his father was permanently severed from his life. he towers over him now, at six foot two, but despite it, he still feels a slight falter in his knees.

the father/boggart smirks evilly, the beer bottle fisted in his right hand going to point at him accusingly.

"sub-human trash," the father/boggart spits at him, saliva speckling onto kaiser's cheek. "useless. a creature that's lower than animals, than filth itself!"

kaiser huffs a spare lock of hair out of his face, feeling slightly unfazed when the father/boggart approaches him eerily slow. he yawns tiredly, preparing his wand to conduct a spell.

"you're a piece of sh—"

the boggart/father suddenly stopped in its tracks, stuttering. it attempted to sound the word "shit" out, but was stuck on the "sh" syllable, repeating it over and over again as its form wobbled and shook. kaiser stiffens suddenly, a crease in his forehead forming from the furrow of his brows when the boggart stays paralyzed in its spot.

this was odd. this had never happened before. he hadn't even casted the charm yet, so he was perplexed as to why it was already beginning to change when he hadn't done anything yet.

the boggart/father groans out suddenly, as if it was in pain, then suddenly its current form vanished into black smoke, before it quickly resembled a new form that made kaiser's blood run cold.

confounded, he was no longer staring at the image of his father, but rather...

you.

you stand still in front of him ever so patiently, a soft smile that you rarely ever gave to him upon your lips. your hair still as elegant as ever, falling and framing your face in a portrait-like fashion. you had your everyday cloak on, looking nothing less of lovely despite the plain-looking clothes. your eyes, warm and inviting, as they soften at him.

kaiser saw you everyday since you and him started working together, whether it be in passing or in the same meeting room. but in this form, you looked more radiant than usual, almost hypnotizingly so.

something switched in kaiser's brain. you were normally untouchable to him, some sort of forcefield around you that constantly kept him at bay away from you. you always seemed to constantly keep him at arm's distance, just close enough for him to look at you clearly but never touch you. yet, somehow, this form of you seems to have gotten rid of that shield around you and you're looking at him with a placidity that you only granted to those that were deserving of it.

so kaiser's breath hitched accordingly so when your voice had whispered out a gentle sound to him that made his head spin.

"michael," you greet so tenderly to him, the smile still settled on your lips.

michael...

right, his name. his... his first name. his given name. it felt odd hearing it sometimes, considering that the name never came out of his own father's lips because he thought of saying his own son's name felt like a sin as it was one of the last things his ex-lover had left him sparingly. he was used to being referred to as his last name, so whenever he heard "michael", even if it wasn't directed towards him, it made kaiser's heart clutch with a longing.

but hearing it from your own lips made a familiar weakening in his knees spread throughout the course of his body. it felt... melodious to him, when it came out of your voice. you beckon him so fondly with it, and kaiser can't help but take a step forward with a hand out towards you.

the moment his entire foot sets itself on the ground, however, granting him one step closer to you, a horrid spark of green light suddenly shoots out from behind you, striking you directly from the back and webbing you with green lightening. you let out an excruciatingly painful shriek that echoes hauntingly through the classroom before you go limp and crumple to the ground, lying face up.

kaiser's jaw unhinges from itself, a strangled sound coming out of his throat when he stares what was in front of him.

he automatically takes his step back, creating a space between you and him as your face falls toward him, your eyes visibly having no life and warmth left in them. his chest tightens and hands shake as his body continues to force him to stare at your lifeless body in front of him.

his mouth goes dry, body frozen in place. kaiser suddenly feels his fingers twitch and uses that singular act of rebellion in his body to cast the charm before the shock fully settled into place inside his body.

"RIDDIKULUS!" he hollers, his wand pointing at your lifeless body before the charm protrudes out of his wand and transforms the boggart into a figure of yoichi isagi getting tomatoes thrown at him from an invisible crowd. normally such a sight would make kaiser laugh hysterically, but the shock from before instills some remnants in his nerves, so he casts the boggart back into its rightful place and unsheathes the chains back to it, the grandfather clock thrashing against them once again.

kaiser staggers to a nearby desk to steady himself, his vision blurring from the adrenaline rush. the boggart, though confined back into the case of the clock, ghosts the figure of your lifeless body on the floor as kaiser attempts to examine his surroundings. a hand goes to his neck and gives it a firm squeeze, spurring reality back to himself.

deep breaths and gasps inhale and exhale out of his lungs, as though to pump out the leftover daze from himself. he falls into the desk chair, holding his pounding forehead in his hand.

he knew that people could have multiple fears that the boggart could possess the form of, but he thought his only one true fear was his father spatting insults left and right to him. he's had to rid of boggarts before and they've always had the same form of that good-for-nothing father, so kaiser's head rushes with questions of what changed.

but more importantly, why did it change into you? into an image where kaiser witnessed your death?

he earns more questions than answers as he tries to regulate himself. the throbbing in his forehead doesn't seem to be stopping soon, so kaiser drags a hand down his face as he stares miserably at the shaking grandfather clock.

he jolts suddenly, hearing the unclicking of the classroom door. his head snaps towards it and he stands up too quick for his own good, feeling his head rush from the lack of blood that makes him stumble a bit.

you poke your head into the defense against the dark arts classroom, your eyes wandering for a specific blonde before you find him standing dumbly in the middle of it.

kaiser's eyes widen at your sudden appearance, fighting the urge to look back at the grandfather clock to make sure it was actually you, the true you. the you that still has a pulse.

"hey, the meeting is about to start in a few," you mention as you open the door wider. "don't be late. the headmaster might give you another lecture again."

kaiser doesn't respond, but instead stares at you silently with an unreadable expression, as though he was petrified.

you snap your fingers, breaking him out of his trance. "you good?"

kaiser suddenly finds the stiffness in his spine suddenly disappear when the sound of your snapping fingers rings in his ears, making the fuzziness in them tune out. he blinks rapidly, rubbing his eyes.

the figure of you leaning on the doorframe clears itself in his field of vision. you raise a brow.

"huh? oh. yeah, the meeting," kaiser mutters through a dry throat.

you roll your eyes and kaiser can see that familiar glaze of life in them that manages to expel the shock for good from his mind. you were alive. you always have been. you're standing right in front of him, arms crossed with a disapproving look on your perfect face, a frown adorned on your perfect lips.

"they figured you'd forget, so they asked me to come fetch you," you sigh, examining your fingernails. you begin to shut the door behind you, ignorant to the spell you've casted on him.

"starts in ten. do not be late!" you call out just before you slam the door on him and leave kaiser all alone with his thoughts in the classroom.

"𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭"

inspired by the official art of isagi, rin, and kaiser from chapter 287 + ofc the song "killshot" by magdanela bay!

ft. yoichi isagi, rin itoshi, michael kaiser

a/n: takes place during the edo period! isagi has guns because he had connections to foreigners. additionally, i'm sorry that the header images are kinda blurry :(

tw: blood and killing.

"𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭"

𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐢

"𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭"

the village lay nestled between rolling green hills, where the scent of cherry blossoms and fresh tea leaves drifted in the air. life moved slowly here, untouched by the battles and bloodshed beyond its borders. it was in this quiet haven that a lone samurai arrived one evening, his presence sending ripples through the peaceful town.

samurai! isagi was infamous, a warrior whose name was spoken in hushed tones. a master of his craft, undefeated, unrelenting. his body bore the scars of countless battles, his guns hung at his side like an extension of his very soul. the villagers avoided his gaze, slipping behind doors and whispering as he passed.

all but one.

you, a young woman who worked at her family’s humble tea shop, did not cower or tremble at the sight of him. instead, you met his gaze with open curiosity, your eyes warm like golden sunlight filtering through the leaves.

that night, when he stepped into your shop, you greeted him with a small smile, unfazed by his reputation. you served him a cup of tea, your hands steady as you placed it before him. “it’s on the house,” you said simply.

samurai! isagi, accustomed to war and wary stares, found himself at a loss. he lifted the cup, inhaling the fragrant steam, and took a sip. the warmth seeped into his bones, something unfamiliar stirring in his chest.

he returned the next night. and the night after that.

at first, he told himself it was only the tea – how it soothed him, how it was unlike anything he had tasted before. but soon, he realized it was not the tea that drew him back. it was you.

he began to notice the way your lips curved when you smiled, the way your sleeves fluttered as you worked, the quiet hum of your voice when you thought no one was listening. he was a man who had lived by weapons, who had long accepted that love was not meant for men like him. yet, he found himself lingering in your presence, aching for every fleeting moment the two of you shared.

one evening, as the last lanterns flickered against the deep indigo sky, he found you outside the shop, gazing up at the cherry blossoms swaying in the breeze.

“the wind carries them away so easily,” he murmured, his voice quieter than he intended.

you turned to him, plucking a single petal from his shoulder. “some petals may be carried away,” you said, fingers brushing lightly against his clothes. “but others fall right where they belong.”

his breath caught.

for the first time in his life, he felt truly unarmed, not by steel, but by something much softer, much more dangerous. he reached for your hand, hesitated, then took it gently in his own. his fingers, rough and calloused from years of battle, trembled against your warmth.

“have i fallen here?” he asked, his voice raw with something unfamiliar.

you smiled, a quiet knowing in your gaze. “stay,” you whispered. “and you will know.”

and for the first time, samurai! isagi, who had spent his life wandering, finally found a reason to stop.

BONUS:

the nights grew longer, and so did his visits. it was no longer just the tea he came for, it was your laughter, the way your voice softened when you spoke his name, the way your presence filled the emptiness inside him.

one night, as rain drizzled gently against the rooftop, you invited him inside. not as a feared warrior. but simply as a man.

you led him to your room, where the candlelight cast golden hues against the wooden walls. he stood there, unsure, hesitant. no battlefield had ever made him feel so vulnerable. you stepped closer, your delicate fingers reaching for the ties of his upper garments.

“let me take this weight from you,” you whispered.

piece by piece, you unfastened the ties. beneath his uniform, his body was strong, marked with old wounds, scars that told stories of survival, pain, and solitude. you traced them with gentle fingers, your touch soft where the world had only been cruel.

his breath hitched as you pressed your palm to his bare chest, feeling the steady, powerful beat of his heart. no one had ever touched him like this, not with reverence, not with tenderness.

“you are beautiful,” you murmured, your eyes drinking him in.

his throat tightened. “i am not,” he said hoarsely. “i am only a man who has known war.”

“and now,” you whispered, guiding his hand to your own racing heartbeat, “you will know something else.”

your lips met his, soft and seeking. he immediately melted into you, wrapping his arms around you, pulling you flush against him. you fit so perfectly against his body, as if you had been waiting for him all along. his hands traced the curve of your back, memorizing every inch, every breath, every sigh that escaped your lips.

you led him down, onto the futon, where the world outside ceased to exist. here, there was no war or bloodshed, only the warmth of your skin beneath his fingers, the way your body welcomed him, the way you whispered his name as if it were something sacred.

for the first time, he was not a warrior, nor a legend whispered in fear. he was simply a man, undone by love.

and beneath the sound of the rain and the scent of falling cherry blossoms, samurai! isagi knew… he had finally found a place to belong.

"𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭"

𝐫𝐢𝐧

"𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭"

the streets of edo were never quiet. even at night, the city pulsed with life. paper lanterns swayed in the breeze, the scent of grilled fish and incense mingled in the air, and laughter spilled from sake houses.

but in the narrow alleys beyond the main roads, in the places where the light barely reached, death walked unseen.

assassin! rin was known only as the destroyer. an assassin without mercy. his katana was swift, his presence fleeting. he came and went like a shadow, leaving nothing but silence in his wake. no one sought him out. no one dared to.

except you.

you were a florist’s daughter, tending to your father’s tiny shop at the edge of the yoshiwara district. a place where courtesans laughed behind painted fans, where samurai shed their honor for a night of pleasure. yet, among the fleeting indulgences of men, your flowers remained constant – simple, beautiful, untouched by the chaos around them.

assassin! rin first saw you one evening, just before the rain. he had finished a job, blood still cooling on his blade. as he slipped through the streets unseen, he caught sight of you arranging delicate plum blossoms outside the shop.

your hands moved with quiet precision, handling each petal with care, as if they were something precious. something fragile.

he should have kept walking. he always did. but that night, as the rain began to fall, he lingered under the shop’s awning. you looked up, surprised to see a lone figure standing there, his hood drawn low, his eyes unreadable.

“you’ll get sick,” you said gently.

he did not answer. he never spoke to strangers.

but then, you turned, stepped inside, and returned with a simple gesture – a small, pale blue flower, held out to him in your open palm.

“for you,” you said, smiling.

he stared at the flower. then at you.

people feared him. they avoided him, as they should. yet here you were, offering something soft, something kind.

he didn’t take it. instead, he turned and disappeared into the rain.

and yet, the next night, assassin! rin returned.

at first, he told himself it was a mistake. he was a man of cold steel and darker deeds. but you were different, never pushing, never prying. you greeted him the same way every night, even if he never spoke, even if he only stood in the shadows.

sometimes, you would leave a flower on the shop’s wooden ledge before going inside, knowing he would see it. a silent gift, expecting nothing in return.

one evening, after a job that left his sleeve torn and blood staining his hands, he arrived as always. you said nothing about the wound, nothing about the red that streaked his fingers. you only looked at him, then quietly poured a cup of tea, setting it beside a fresh white camellia.

“a flower of longing,” you whispered.

he finally spoke. “and what does that mean?”

you blinked, startled by the sound of his voice, rough from years of silence. then you smiled.

“it means someone is waiting for you.”

something in his chest twisted.

he did not belong in the warmth of your world. he knew that. but when you reached for his hand, your fingers brushing against his, he did not pull away.

perhaps, for once, he could let himself be seen.

perhaps, even a ghost could learn to bloom.

BONUS:

the night was humid, heavy with the scent of summer rain. assassin! rin had returned from another job, the taste of blood still thick in his mind, but instead of vanishing into the shadows, his feet led him to you.

the flower shop was still open, its doors swaying slightly in the warm breeze. inside, you were alone, seated on the floor, your kimono loose at the collar, your hair slightly undone from a long day’s work. a single candle flickered beside you, casting golden light across your skin.

you looked up, unsurprised to see him.

“you always come late,” you said softly.

he stepped inside without a word.

you gestured for him to sit, and to his own surprise, he did. he had never stayed this long. never let himself linger. but tonight, something felt different.

you poured tea, the quiet sound filling the space between them. he watched you, taking in the delicate movements of your hands, the curve of your throat as you sipped. you were untouched by the world he lived in. and yet, you had let him in, if only just a little. “your hands,” you murmured.

he glanced down. blood had dried under his fingernails, invisible under the dim candlelight, but you still saw it.

without a word, you reached for a damp cloth and took his hand in yours.

assassin! rin stiffened. he had killed with these hands. broken men. ended lives. and yet, you touched them as if they weren’t stained, as if there was still something human beneath the callouses.

you wiped gently, your fingers cool against his skin. he could have pulled away. he should have. but he didn’t.

instead, he let himself feel.

the warmth of your hands. the way you smoothed over old scars with quiet reverence. he had never known softness like this.

slowly, hesitantly, he reached up. his fingers brushed the loose strand of hair at your cheek, tucking it behind your ear. you stilled, your breath catching.

then, with careful slowness, you leaned forward.

his lips met yours in the flickering candlelight, the taste of tea lingering between the two of you. it was not desperate, not hurried, just a quiet surrender. a moment stolen from a life that had never belonged to him.

you did not ask him to stay. you did not beg for words he did not know how to give.

but when he deepened the kiss, when his hands found the curve of your waist, when you whispered his name for the first time, he knew he was no longer just a shadow.

for the first time, assassin! rin did not disappear before dawn.

"𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭"

𝐤𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫

"𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭"

the small village by the river had never seen the likes of him.

soldier! kaiser, a foreigner, far from his homeland, wearing a heavy military coat that seemed out of place in the humid warmth of the japanese summer. his tall frame, adorned with a strange combination of leather and metal, and his sword – an odd, long-bladed weapon – drew the eyes of every passerby. but it was the gun slung across his back that truly made the villagers uneasy.

you, however, were not easily unnerved.

the village’s lantern festival was approaching, a time when the streets would glow with paper lanterns, each one carrying wishes for the coming year. you had grown up making them, painting delicate flowers on their surfaces and attaching intricate paper strings. your family’s shop, where lanterns were sold, would be bustling with activity soon.

that’s when you first saw him.

soldier! kaiser had come to the shop, drawn by the bright lanterns hanging in the windows. he didn’t speak at first, just standing at the counter, staring at the rows of vibrant, colorful lanterns. his presence felt heavy in the room, like the air before a storm.

you watched him silently. you had never seen someone like him, so foreign, so different. he seemed lost, out of place, and yet there was something almost childlike in the way his eyes lingered on the delicate paper.

“you’re looking for something?” you asked, finally breaking the silence.

he blinked, as though startled from a trance. then, he gave a small nod.

“i want one,” he said in broken japanese, his voice deep and rough. “a pretty one.”

you tilted your head, considering him.

“i can make you a lantern,” you said, smiling. “i promise it will be beautiful.”

he seemed to hesitate for a moment, then took off his coat, revealing a simple vest beneath. it was clear he was not accustomed to the customs of this village, everything about him screamed of a life lived in other lands, far from the peaceful simplicity of a place like this.

but still, you worked with your hands, as you always did. you knew how to make things beautiful.

and so, over the next few days, you saw him every morning. he would arrive before sunrise, watching you work as you painted and folded the lanterns. sometimes he’d sit quietly, observing, and other times he’d ask you questions, simple ones, like what each flower on the lantern symbolized or why the colors of the paper mattered. you spoke to him slowly, teaching him the meanings behind the designs, the significance of the festival, of the hopes each lantern carried.

though his words were few, his attention was constant. you found yourself looking forward to his visits, even though you didn’t quite understand why. there was something in the way he listened, the way he focused, like he wanted to understand this quiet village, wanted to learn the things he could never have in his home.

one afternoon, as the sun dipped low and painted the sky with hues of red and orange, you finished the lantern. you handed it to him, a tall, white lantern with a red crane painted across its surface, symbolizing strength and hope for a prosperous future.

he took it carefully, as though it were fragile, and held it up to the fading sunlight.

“this is... beautiful,” he murmured. his voice was quieter now, softer. “i don’t know if i deserve it.”

you raised an eyebrow, surprised by the sorrow in his words.

“you deserve it as much as anyone,” you said gently. “this lantern is for you. to carry your hopes.”

for the first time, a smile tugged at the corners of his lips. it wasn’t wide, but it was there, subtle, warm.

“i’ve never had something like this before,” he admitted. “where i come from, in germany, there’s only war, only fighting. things like this...” he paused, shaking his head. “they don’t exist there.”

your heart tightened at his words. you could see the weight he carried, the scars that were invisible to the eye. the soldier who had fought in faraway lands, a stranger in this peaceful village, trying to find something that would allow him to live without his past.

without thinking, you stepped closer. you took his hand, careful, tentative, and placed the lantern back in his grasp.

“you don’t have to fight anymore,” you whispered. “you can start fresh. here.”

for a moment, there was only silence between you. the lantern’s soft glow seemed to illuminate his face, casting shadows and light over the hard lines that marked his years. then, slowly, he lifted his eyes to meet yours.

“i’m... sorry,” he said, voice thick with emotion. “i didn’t know what to do. but you… this... it feels like peace.”

you smiled, squeezing his hand.

“i’ll help you find it,” you promised. “one step at a time.”

the festival came, and the streets were filled with families, children laughing as they carried their lanterns, each light a wish floating toward the heavens. you stood among them, watching as people set their lanterns afloat on the river, the tiny lights drifting gently in the current.

and when the last lantern was released, you turned to find soldier! kaiser standing beside you, the red crane lantern still in his hands. his expression was no longer heavy, no longer burdened by the shadows of his past.

for the first time, he was free.

and you, standing beside him, knew that he had found the peace he had long sought, here, in the quiet beauty of a village, with a lantern that carried his future.

BONUS:

the night had grown still, and the lanterns were long extinguished, their soft glow only a memory in the now-darkened village. you stood by the riverbank, watching the ripples of the water catch the fading moonlight.

it was late, and the village was asleep, but you knew soldier! kaiser would come. he always did, after everyone had gone to bed, when the world was quiet and it felt like only the two of you existed.

when you heard the familiar sound of footsteps behind you, you didn’t turn around.

“i thought you might be here,” he said, his voice low and comforting in the silence.

you smiled softly, letting the cool breeze sweep past you. “i come here to think... to let everything settle.”

he stepped closer, his shadow falling next to yours. he didn’t speak right away, and for a long while, you simply stood there together, two strangers finding solace in each other’s presence. the weight of the world seemed to fall away whenever he was near, and in his silence, you found peace.

finally, he spoke again.

“i’ve never had a place like this. a place where i can just... be. no orders, no fighting, no war.” his voice cracked slightly, though he quickly masked it with a soft sigh. “i don’t know what to do with it.”

you turned to face him then, your heart heavy with empathy. the soldier you had come to know was not the same one who first walked into your shop. he had changed, and you knew it wasn’t just the lanterns or the village, it was something inside of him, something he had buried deep.

“i think you’ve forgotten how to live without the noise,” you said gently, your voice soft as you closed the distance between you. “it’s okay to be still. to find peace in the quiet.”

his gaze softened, but there was still uncertainty in his eyes. “i’m not sure i know how anymore.”

without thinking, you reached up to touch his cheek. his skin was rough, worn by the trials he had faced, but there was warmth beneath it, a warmth you had come to recognize.

“maybe i can help you remember,” you whispered.

he stared down at you, his chest rising and falling with each shallow breath. his gaze flickered from your lips to your eyes, and you could feel his hesitation. but then, as though the silence was too much to bear, he leaned down slowly, his lips brushing against yours in a delicate, tentative kiss.

the kiss could have even passed as urgent, as if the years of loneliness, of fighting, had led him here. to this moment. to you.

your hands found their way to his shoulders, and he wrapped one arm around you, pulling you closer. the kiss deepened, and the world around you seemed to disappear. there was no war, no distance, no past, only the two of you, lost in the warmth of each other’s embrace.

his other hand slid down to your waist, fingers brushing the fabric of your kimono. you shivered at the touch, but it was not out of fear. it was the realization that this… this tenderness, this softness… was something you both had been yearning for.

when he pulled away, breathless, he placed his forehead gently against yours. his hand remained at your waist, holding you firmly as if afraid to let go.

“i never thought i would find peace like this,” he confessed, his voice hushed. “not in a place like this. not with someone like you.”

you smiled, your fingers tracing the lines of his jaw. “you’re not alone anymore.”

he kissed you again, this time with a quiet intensity, his hands pulling you closer until there was no space left between you. you responded with the same fervor, your heart racing, your body warm against his.

the night seemed to stretch on forever, but in his arms, you knew the world was exactly as it should be: silent, still, and full of love. the two of you, finally together, finding what you both had been missing all along: a love built not on words or promises, but on the quiet understanding that, for once, you didn’t have to fight.

idk if youve written about this before but who do you think will heal like "fix" Rin: Isagi or Sae? (sorry for bad english)

(don't apologize!)

I kind of did

This was not too long ago and I still think feel the way I did when I wrote that.

I still think Rin's issues will be one of the core conflicts later on, seeing as how this entire PXG match was written to develop him further (make him more insane). Dedicating 200 chapters to developing one character means that character's conflicts are important and there will be more shit for that character later on. As far as fixing or helping (I get what you mean) I think it's gonna be a combo of both of them but more than that, Rin pulling himself together. Mostly because that's the pattern in Blue Lock so far. Nobody really discloses their baggage with anyone, the only one to do that was Bachira and that's because of how his relationship with Isagi is (very different from the other dynamics in the manga) and how Bachira just is as a person (very open about everything, esp w/ Isagi).

Bachira*, Chigiri, Barou, Nagi, Hiori, Yukimiya, Kaiser--> all of these people were "helped" by Isagi, but Isagi didn't do anything. He reached out to them to get them to collaborate and win matches. He was either met with resistance (Barou, Chigiri, Yuki) or willingness to make it work (Nagi, Kaiser**). Each time the outcome is the same though. Chigiri remembered why soccer was fun, so he jumped back in, Nagi realized what it's like to actually feel fired up about something, anything, Barou realized he can't just be The Way That He Is and win matches/be useful in matches/be a part of the team and given the opportunity/chance to score for the team. Hiori and Yukimiya found inspiration just playing with Isagi, Hiori moved past the pressure his awful parents put on him and found his own personal reason to play, Yuki and Isagi had a couple of Bad Moments and it worked out because they're both willing to admit mistakes and learn and change.

*Again, Bachira's situation was quite different from the rest, so we won't dive into his stuff here **Kaiser is unreliable and this comes with a grain of salt and that is an entire other post in itself, but the point still stands

Soooo moving back to Rin...I expect him to follow the same pattern. When you compare Rin's reaction to Isagi just PLAYING SOCCER and literally EVERYONE ELSE'S REACTION to Isagi just PLAYING SOCCER it's really wild.

Everyone else:

Idk If Youve Written About This Before But Who Do You Think Will Heal Like "fix" Rin: Isagi Or Sae? (sorry

Rin:

Idk If Youve Written About This Before But Who Do You Think Will Heal Like "fix" Rin: Isagi Or Sae? (sorry

Even fucking Kaiser started out acting like Rin and then shifted to feeling like everyone else (Kaiser and his unreliable narrating is a whole other post so I won't get into that here).

Idk If Youve Written About This Before But Who Do You Think Will Heal Like "fix" Rin: Isagi Or Sae? (sorry

Everyone figured their own stuff out on their own terms (Not Kaiser lol). Rin should probably work out the same seeing as how he is seeing the same Isagi as everyone else but having a total 180 reaction. Rin is very much an anomaly though because unlike everyone else in the manga, he's stuck in his emotions and broken heart and can't get past it, and *his issues/narrative conflicts actually involve other characters who participate in the story (Sae). We're never gonna see Hiori face his parents or anything like that, so Rin is clearly a different type of story than everyone else.

*Kaiser and Ness but again, different post

Rin has two obstacles:

Figuring out what Sae was trying to tell him when he dumped him (in a fuck awful way, Sae is an idiot)

And the way he views Isagi

I didn't include "fixing relationship with Sae" as an obstacle because THAT will not happen unless he realizes #1. This story is all about "egos" (ego meaning finding your reason/motivation and not relying on anyone else). Rin always just wanted to be in his brother's shadow and Sae got really tired of that because he knew Rin was capable of more than that, so he dumped him.

Rin loses his shit a little (understandably honestly, really sad), uses his anger as a motivator (still missing the mark, that makes Rin codependent on Sae still), realizes there is finally someone who isn't just one of Rin's stepping stones (how Rin used to view everyone around him, first character flaw we see), and lost his shit a little more. Decided that beating Isagi was his next goal, which setting more reachable goals like that is good (it's what Isagi did with Kaiser), but because Rin has so many other unresolved issues he wasn't able to be normal about it and he let Isagi send him into a spiral/borderline meltdown on the soccer field in the PXG match LOL. Rin placed Isagi in the same playing field as his brother, literally compared the two saying he needs someone who makes him suffer in order to play to his fullest potential.

Idk If Youve Written About This Before But Who Do You Think Will Heal Like "fix" Rin: Isagi Or Sae? (sorry

I don't think I need to explain why that thought process is completely fucked up lol. Sae legitimately hurt Rin. Isagi did nothing to him, so this comparison is evident of how desperate Rin is to keep finding a reason to play (his own ego).

I think the order of events for Rin has to be:

Get over this weird fixation on Isagi. Shift from letting Isagi ruin his life to letting Isagi inspire him like everyone else. View Isagi as someone to fight alongside and compete against without escalating into a mental breakdown lol.

Realize why he's playing soccer---> he SHOULD come to the conclusion that this sport brings him joy and it's fun. So far we've never see him really enjoy it. That's been the core of several arcs, Chigiri, NAGI especially my god (that's literally been the whole reason anything in blue lock has gone the way it has for Nagi lmao), Hiori. And even Bachira calls him out on it.

Idk If Youve Written About This Before But Who Do You Think Will Heal Like "fix" Rin: Isagi Or Sae? (sorry

If things go that way---> THEN I think Sae will see this change and their relationship can mend itself. Sae just sees Rin as an annoying sibling who wants to ride his brother's ass and annoy him forever being happy with settling for living in a shadow (literally, this was confirmed by Kaneshiro that Sae does not view their little spat the same as Rin does, he thinks Rin is just being annoying, Sae is an idiot lol).

I also think Rin needs friends. He has none. Realizing that people are playing WITH him is started this WHOLE downward spiral in the U20 match, so for me it seems that Rin's endgame should be embracing the 10 other people he's playing with and enjoy it with them, not feel like he has to be alone and do everything himself otherwise he's not good enough. I think Isagi (and Bachira too tbh) will be key to this part of Rin's story.

To answer your question:

Yes. Lol.
