Do you have any tips on how to improve your writing in your target language ? I've been learning English for four years and I still write like a five year old
Here's some ideas:
If you struggle with forming sentences, you could start by simply copying texts in your target language, e.g. news articles, quotes, lyrics, and so on. That way you'll get used to the rhythm of the language and how the sentence structure looks
If you don't know what to write about, maybe you could write daily diary entries. Or short summaries of your favourite books or films. Or you could make a special tumblr blog dedicated to posts about something you're passionate about, e.g. describing comic books, writing fan fics in your target language, translating memes into your target language, etc.
Maybe you can try the app Slowly. It's an app where you can find penpals around the world who speak your target language or are also learning that language. Find someone, send them a nice letter, and then you can practice together
The most important thing is that you practice regularly, so finding nice people to talk to or finding a topic you're passionate about and love writing about would probably be the best tips i have
I hope this helps a bit!
reasons to write fanfiction (I'll start):
share a cool scene that popped into your head
evoke a particular emotion the canon makes you feel
song made you think of a character or idea from canon
make people feel the same way about a character you do
make dolls kiss for fun
explore ideas the canon hints at but doesn't do anything with
traumatize characters and make them suffer
coddle characters and let them rest
had an insane idea for a crack ship and now everyone needs to know
the author of the canon was wrong and must be fixed
use familiar characters to explore your own ideas and plotlines
canon is too short and you need to wallow in the universe of the story
Wa-fucking-hoo for the OFMD fandom! :) <3

why are we all sleeping on kathryn hahn saying agatha is "for sure a top" in that podcast tho????? followed by "except that she's so powerful that sometimes she wants to be treated like a baby" WHAT
Okay I do not understand where this idea that Agatha is a liar comes from.
Is she manipulative? Yeah. Will she do anything to get what she wants? Probably, idk. Agatha seems like she’s more intent on running away from everything.
Does she lie? Yeah. But she’s also canonically terrible at it.
For this entire series, she spoils every lie in less than a minute by giving away that she’s lying or by just straight up telling the truth right after.
Are y’all referencing WandaVision? That show where she was too honest with the protagonist and it was her downfall? The one where she was corrupted by the Darkhold, a book famous for corrupting everyone who uses it since forever?
Every instance we have of her lying often turns out to be Agatha telling the truth and no one believing her.
The coven attempting to kill her in 1693? Turns out she actually can’t control her power. Trying to steal power from the other witches? She already told Lilia that they have to attack her first. Not drinking the poison wine? She left the glass in plain sight.
Agatha Harkness is a terrible liar and people need to start acknowledging that.

When Agatha and Billy find Tommy I kinda want him to remember everything that happened inside of the hex. He would remember spending time with the Version of Billy in the hex and he’d remember Wanda and Vision as his parents, it would be so good.
Because then we’d have one twin who managed to save himself, but does not have any memories of being Billy nor of Wanda, Vision and Tommy. He can just sense Tommy being around and missing a part of him. Not having these memories Billy has canonically found a new family for himself (Agatha, Williams Parents, Eddie) and he doesn’t see Wanda and Vision as parental figures because he does not remember their love. He only knows what he was told about Wanda and that’s all been awful.
Meanwhile Tommy would only have that. Everything that’d have ever happened to him would be what happened in the hex so he would cling to it. He would beg Billy to remember as well and he would probably hate Agatha for what she did to his mom (at least at first) and not understand how Billy could see her as a mentor / aunt / parental figure.
My point being: Billy wouldn’t see Wanda and Vision as his parents and Tommy would. Thus: The Angst. The Conflict. Tommy trying to get Billy to remember just to realize that the Billy HE remembers ISNT THE CURRENT BILLY.
And BILLY having gone through ABSOLUTE HORRORS to get Tommy back only to be COMPARED to a version of himself that he doesn’t remember over and over AND OVER
OH GOD I COULD TALK ABOUT THIS HEADCANON ALL DAY SOMEONE HELP ME
Learning a language is so wild. Beforehand the language is just some kinda interesting sounding gibberish and squiggles on a page. Just totally opaque. Might as well be Linear A. Afterward it’s like the most obvious thing in the world. Totally self-evident. Of course those words mean those things everybody knows that.
