Some 3D animation in progress, using David O’Reilly’s rig.
A lion helps a little boy build a better boat and get back home.
Here is my fourth year film at CalArts! It was animated completely in Maya. Huge thanks to Phil Rynda, Andrew Chesworth, Dariush Derakhshani, my voice actor Joe Whyte, and my composer Gage Bruce for making this all come together.
A giant wanders the desert in search of his missing arm.

Why do most people from CalArts draw big round eyes? Is it an animator’s thing? Is it a technical choice?
Two reasons:1. Confirmation bias. If you say that most CalArts students draw big round eyes, then you'll find CalArts students that draw big round eyes. There is a wide variety of "styles" at CalArts, go and find the ones you like!2. Some people like mustard on a hot dog. Some like ketchup and mustard. Some like relish. Some like onions. Others enjoy chili and cheddar cheese. No one knows why they prefer their hot dogs' ingredients, or think about why, they just like eating them. It's no different with drawing.
