luffy and law saying "i love you" to each other truly hits so different when you remember ace and cora-san literally their most important person said "thanks for loving me" and "law i love you" before they died to them. their similar backstory when it comes to this gave it more nuances almost like a proof for second chance or a promise to each other that surely this time whatever lies ahead before them the outcome will be different.

headcanon that as a couple, law and luffy can go for months, hell, even years, without sex, but the moment they are able to come together again, they have some of the most backbreaking, world shattering, toe-curling, raunchiest fucking sessions ever that makes the SUNNY move around even while anchored, and the rest of the Straw Hats take refuge in the Polar Tang because the Hearts can take them all away from the tsunami of a fuckfest their captains are engaged in.
