On this exact time, the first #Toonami broadcast began to air on TV sets across the nation. Years have passed since, but the mission remains the same: To build a Better Cartoon Show! Happy 21st Birthday! (Careful with the beer though.)

My sister got me these Ghibli posters for my birthday a few days ago!  I framed them today and they look absolutely wonderful above my desk :)

Farewell ceremony for Isao Takahata has been held today. Hayao Miyazaki “I thought you would live to 95. Thank you, Paku-san. I will never forget you. You spoke to me for the first time at the bus stop after the rain 55 years ago.”

Miyazaki dedicated a flower to his best friend.
