"Rek looks human"
That's what most people thought of when they first saw him in Season 2, species is something you should always take note of in the Lifesteal SMP after all
He's not weak, but at least he doesn't have a natural advantage like some other members like Mapicc being a bit heat resistant and Parrot taking less fall damage
But the thing is, people have a hard time looking at him, especially whenever he's invisible
They stare at floating armor or faint swirling particles in the air, it's not a normal sight but surely they shouldn't feel like this right?
That unnerving feeling that they're seeing something they aren't meant to be seeing. The weird thing is that it only happens when it's Rek, any other invisible person doesn't have the same effect
Clown first felt this when he held Rek hostage. At first, he just ignored the pit in his stomach, reasoning that it's a new player he doesn't know well.
But then Rek's invisibility wore off in front of him. He only caught a glimpse of it, but his face was different... There was something else on his face. He asked Rek about it but he dismissed him, saying that Clown was making fun of the curved scars under his eyes.
He stared at Rek hoping to remember what it was that he saw. But the longer he stared, the more that awful feeling grew. The Poggies were still talking but their voices were becoming muffled, as if they were underwater
He can only focus on Rek staring back at him, locking him in the most intense staring contest he'd ever been a part of
Rek's eyes flicked downward for a second. Out of instinct, Clown glanced down too. But before he knew it, the blocks were mined under him. He shook his head after he painfully hit the floor, finally getting out of the trance he'd been in
Clown stared back up at the cell and tilted his head. Trying to make sense of what he saw when Rek turned visible
His scars weren't there when the invisibility wore off were they? There was something else that was where his scars should've been
Rek's voice claiming he's escape snapped him out of his thoughts, he ran outside to check how he escaped the cell. He cursed, shoving that thought out of his head for later so he could focus more
There were many more people who had similar experiences, but Clown was the closest person to figuring it out
But everyone eventually forgot about it. Season 2 went by, and the new Season was starting
Everyone gathered around in a circle at spawn, waiting for the others to log in. But then Rek joined the server... With antlers and bunny ears
Everyone was, of course, curious about the unexpected development. But Rek just winked and refused to say anything about it
Everyone stared at Rek for a few seconds, that awful feeling of dread sent shivers down their spine again, they looked away and chose not to prod him anymore. Just what the hell was Rek? Was he actually a hidden Jackalope, or something else entirely?
One thing's for sure though
Rek is definitely not human

Here are some bnha ending implications about the League of Villains that drive me crazy:
We don't know if Touya thought Spinner and Mr. Compress were dead too.
Tomura never knew Twice was dead.
Touya and Tomura never knew that Toga tried to shapeshift into them and cried 'cause she couldn't :(
Mr. Compress last saw the LOV while he was trying to save them / help them reach a safe place. Next thing he was told is that most of them were dead.
Even if Touya was still alive long enough for Spinner to publish his book/comic, I doubt someone read it to Touya.
Since Toga showed up as Twice in the final battle, we don't know if Giran was aware of Twice being dead previous to that occasion or if he thinks Twice died at war there.
Although Kurogiri said that Tomura's friends were waiting for him, Tomura never saw his friends again.
They don't even know Tomura considered them his friends.
They don't know that part of the reason why Tomura died is because between the offer to change and forget his friend or stay behind and keep their memories, Tomura refused to be anything else but the villain's hero.
Most of them didn't get to hear Compress revealing his identity.
Toga "died" happily to save a friend, just like Twice did for her.
The last time most of the LOV saw Tomura, he wasn't himself / was possessed by AFO.
While the LOV's job was to sacrifice their lives for Tomura, it ended up being the other way around. Tomura died in their names and they got to die however they wanted.
Touya doesn't know Toga kept his words in her heart and got to smile again <3
All of them were doomed by the narrative.
The League of Villains has by far some of the most painful or torturous deaths in the whole series.
The villains have far better healing technology 'cause they somehow managed to save Dabi from being almost completely burnt, while he was doomed to die after the bnha finale.
Being part of the LOV was the highlight of most of its members lives.
Tomura probably doesn't know how much Kurogiri saw him as his own son.
Kurogiri probably doesn't know how much Tomura loved him, despite hiding it.
Spinner was probably never told Tomura's real story, so his version of the story will be forever incomplete. Even when he's Tomura's canon best friend.
Tomura saw his family die in front of him as a kid, but he died far away from all his friends.
Touya probably thought he was the last one of them to die.
Despite being called weak all his life, Spinner has to carry the burden of being the one and only last survival of the LOV.
I get that reindeer Jim is probably not relevent anymore, but I just wanted to say that your reindeer Jim content has led me to headcanon Crazy Christmas Jim as a Reindeer Hybrid 😊

From the moment Jimmy woke up, he felt like something was missing; something important. But he doesn't know what's wrong.
He did the only thing he could think of and asked Martyn about it
“What'd ya mean something's wrong?”
“I mean something's wrong”
“Well then, what is wrong?”
“I don't know! I know that it's something important, but I just cannot for the life of me figure out what's wrong!”
“Alright… now, you're losing me. What about a different question then, why is something wrong?”
“Why- I- what?”
“Describe what you feel and why you think that there's something wrong”
“Okay- umm, well, something's like- missing? I think. And everything feels off, like- Ugh! I don't know! It's just this deep sense in me that's telling me that somethings wrong- like my soul is telling me that i'm missing something”
“Yeah, no, I don't know how to help with your predicament. Maybe you could ask someone else?”
Jimmy tried to think, ask someone else? Who would he even ask? Grian? No, not Grian, he'd probably laugh at him. Tango? Tango… could work. Yeah! He should ask his soulmate. Tango knows him more than he does sometimes
“Okay then, I'll ask someone else, I'll be going out okay?”
“Alright, be careful though, you made a lot of enemies last week and we haven't gotten our tasks yet”
Jimmy made his way to the Heart Foundation to talk to Tango, strangely enough; the indescribable feeling was increasing as he neared his soulmate's base. The island was empty except for the hundreds of cherry blossom petals that scattered the area, but he does see some movement in the giant heart shaped tree in the middle of the heart island
“Tango! Are you up there!? I need to talk to you!”
Instead of hearing his beloved rancher’s voice call out from the heart tree, Skizz's voice rang out as he quickly scaled down the ladder of the tree
“Woah, woah, woah! Back up there Jimmy, don't think I've forgotten about what happened last week! What makes you think you can come up here after what you tried to do huh?”
“Look Skizz, I just really need to talk to Tango right now, is he here?”
Jimmy wanted to get out of here as soon as possible, that gnawing feeling he's been feeling since this morning is now suffocating him for reasons he can't understand
Skizz opened his mouth to retort, but another voice from the top of the tree responded
“Skizz? Who's at our base and why are you yelling at them?”
“Uh- Tango, buddy, could you come down here real quick? Jimmy wants to talk to you”
The weird feeling just increased tenfold when he heard Tango. What happened to him? Why is his voice like that? It sounds exactly the same as last week, but it still felt wrong wrong wrong wrong wron-
The sound of petals crunching under someone's shoes brought Jimmy back to reality, but the second he laid his eyes on the blazeborn, his mind and soul screamed at him

I've decided to give you a headcanon in the form of novice writing! Just like how Joel recognized Lizzie in Limited Life. Jimmy can tell that whoever is walking around looking like Tango is not his soulmate. Meanwhile, someone else hasn't seen their soulmate yet, but I'm sure he'll recognize him when he sees him :)
OK NO YOURE GONNA MAKE ME GO FERAL ABOUT THIS
This is such a good idea, I love it.
Jimmy feels the connection between him and his soulmate being gone, not even realizing it being there in the first place. Only to have a huge urge to find tango, but he just isn't right....
Meanwhile both Ren and bigb would finally feel at peace.
For either of the perspective it just seems cruel
Whether it is Jimmy's, bc he now would be restless and straight up desperate.
Bigb and ren bc they going to have to see their soulmate only for it to be ripped out from them once again
Or even tangos, who's gonna return to feel exactly that void feeling jimmy felt bc Jimmy's dead.

Something is wrong
Tango woke up in the middle of the night, unable to fall asleep. He sits up and looks at his teammates. He knows he's missing something, seeing as BigB is now yellow instead of the green he was when he last saw him. Tango sighs as he climbs the heart tree to try and clear his head and figure out what's happening
He has heard of something like this happening in the previous seasons, how Cleo and Pearl were swapped out for Gem and Lizzie respectively in Limited Life. How some people just… disappear in a week and then come back the next week like nothing happened like what happened to BigB in Third Life.
Something about being emotionally unstable and unable to play this horrible game, which is fair enough, he doesn't want to play either. But he still has so many questions.
Why was he swapped out? Clearly someone filled in for him, the Heart Foundation didn't say anything about him being missing. Who was he swapped out with? You'd think he would know but he's just as clueless, he doesn't even know what happened this week. Probably nothing good, if the suffocating smell of smoke and decay in the air was anything to go by.
Tango takes a deep breath, he's getting off topic. Despite the mountains of questions in his mind, those aren't the reasons why he can't sleep. Usually, his insomnia comes in the form of terrible sleep schedules. Which is a norm in Hermitcraft, unless you're Bdubs; he's probably the only person on Hermitcraft with an actual sleep schedule. But when he does eventually find the time to sleep in between all his projects, he's out like a light. Now though, he's sleepless, all because of this gnawing sensation he feels deep in his soul
He can't really describe how it feels. It just feels wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong-
Tango shakes his head to clear his thoughts, he sighs as he takes in the view from the top of the heart tree. It's a beautiful view, he feels like a bird up here. Is this what Jimmy feels like? Ah Jimmy, his precious rancher. He remembers last last week, when he let Jimmy blow him up a little, that charming yet dangerous smile as he “threatens” to blow him up again.
Tango finds himself looking at the distant form of Baxter the dog, where his soulmate currently resides… his soul aches to see Jimmy again. Ever since Double Life, he and Jimmy frequently snuck out of their bases to secretly cuddle and spend the night with each other. Now he really wants to sneak out. But Jimmy's red… and is allied with Martyn, aka the most possessive guy he's ever met; and that's saying something, as Tango himself is quite possessive
He weighs the pros and cons of sneaking out and meeting with Jimmy for cuddles. He would have to deal with the wrath of not just Martyn, but probably Skizz and BigB too. But he would get cuddles with Jimmy

Tango made up his mind as he climbed down the ladder and carefully stepped around the petals to prevent as much noise as possible. BigB turned in his sleep as Skizz slept like a rock and somehow ended up upside down on his bed.
Alright! First obstacle delt with! Now he just had to deal with the mobs… oh boy…
Running away from 50 hundred zombies and skeletons, he reaches the stairs of the big dogs base. With the ache in his soul getting heavier as he runs up the stairs, he's getting more and more excited as he thinks of his beloved soulmate
He puts his hands on his knees as he catches his breath at the top of the stairs. His breath hitches as he hears the familiar whoosh of an axe
“And what do you think you're doing?”
he looks up to find none other than Martyn LittleWood. Tango straightens his back as Martyn points the axe at him threateningly
“Martyn! Buddy! Hey! How are you? I just came over to uhh- see how you were doing! You know, I gotta know what the reds are doin at all times, make sure you aren't planning anything bad or something”
“Uhuh…”
Martyn's red eyes felt as though they were boring a hole through his entire being
“Mhm! So- yeah. Uh- Where is Jimmy?”
Tango looks at the windows of the house behind Martyn to see if he could see Jimmy somewhere in there, not noticing how Martyn had flinched at his question
“Where- what do you mean ‘Where is Jimmy?’ A-are you trying to mock me? Cause if you think you can do that, then you've got another thing comin”
Martyn shouts and steps closer, Tango instinctively backs up
“Whoa, whoa. Hold on! I'm not trying to mock you! What do you mean by that!?”
Martyn's eyes screamed anger as Tango's soul screamed at him.
“Oh, you son of a bitch. I didn't think you'd be the type to mock someone after what happened this week, especially about someone like Jimmy”
“What about Jimmy?! I'm not mocking you! I don't even know what you're talking about!”
“What do you mean you don't know?! You were there when it happened! You know exactly what happened to Jimmy!”
“Martyn, I really don't know what happened this week! I was swapped out with someone else! I just came here to get some cuddles from Jimmy”
Martyn's fury was paused as confusion settled on his features
“Swapped- You were swapped out? By who?”
“Y-yeah I was swapped out, but I don't know who filled in for me”
“Wait, if you were swapped out then that means-”
Martyn took a few steps back as horror replaced his confusion
“You… don't know what happened…do you?”
“Uh- nooo? I-I couldn't sleep beacuse I felt like something was missing or-or wrong or something, I don't know. And I thought that coming to Jimmy would make me feel better…”
Martyn's eyes flashed with recognition at Tango's words, Jimmy said…
“Martyn… what happened to Jimmy…?”
Tango's voice was laced with panic from Martyn's behavior, he really hopes that what he's thinking of is wrong
Martyn closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he finally realises what was happening. He opened his eyes again and looked at Tango with a sad and understanding gaze, hoping he wouldn't have to say it outloud
Tango gulped as he recognizes what Martyn was trying to tell him, eyes filling with unshed tears
“Martyn… please don't tell me he…”
Martyn was silent as he turned around and gestured Tango to follow him. Tango quickly trailed after Martyn as he lead him behind their wheat farm, there lays a stone with a dirt patch in front of it
Tango's soul was screaming in agony as he ran to his Soulmate's gravestone and kneeled in front of it. The empty feeling was gnawing at his very existence, it felt like his soul was being torn apart as his tears fell
Martyn left the sobbing man to grieve alone and went down to the caves to get away from the familiar cries of pain and loss
Tango clutched his chest as if it would alleviate the horrible feeling in his soul.
His soul was empty without the heartbeat it followed

I had to do a follow up after your reaction! Honestly, I didn't think much of BigB and Ren's perspective in this but after what you said, I just had to write something about them too! But you forgot about the other big dog who has now realized what had happened. Speaking of Martyn, I could write another scene where Martyn tells Tango about how Jimmy beat the curse in the following morning, and just what happend in general. Maybe try and figure out who filled in for Tango, I'm sure Martyn would love to know who it was :)

A lot of people headcannon that Jimmy got cursed to die first when he first died in the Life series- But now I’m watching Jimmothy’s Evo series and in the Halloween, special the group is playing games, one of the games involving a death game. Jimmy dies first, which he beforehand in the same video was muttering how he doesn’t want to be eliminated first. That of course instantly clicked into my mind about “Canary dies first”.
If you pay attention to the Evo series, you know that, for some reason, Watchers didn’t like Jimmy from the start. Even Grian (the troublemaker that makes the Watcher’s life hard) who in one of the episodes got a chest full of coal with one diamond in the middle got something valuable, whereas Jimmy got a sapling. (I believe Taurtis or someone else - unsure - commented on how Grian is a diamond in the rough). But Jimmy? He wasn’t liked from the start to the end.
So I think that Jimmothy, our Canary boy, got cursed way before the Life series, that it all started way back in Evo.
I might make a bigger post at some point after I finish watching Evo smp to make a bigger post about the Watchers thing, Grian, Mahtyn and the watchers dislike to Tim, but we shall see.

I just see jimmy sitting in the sunlight being totally happy and tango is just curiously watching and amazed by how the light seems to stick to jimmy. also idk i kinda imagine jimmy with this beautiful leave like wings where the light shines through also do the flowers on jimmys head kinda translate into flower speech?
Jimmy's wings are somewhere between plant and bug
They are inspired by flower language, yes! Though I won't say what emotions they specifically correspond to, you'll have to figure it out. (I tried to do some more specific ones in my example reference just to see if I could)
I would love to see that as a Fanfic! And the whole Tango finds out Jimmy has wings was kinda based off a fanfic that I'm blanking on the name.
Basically, Tango's back is itching like crazy, at first he thought that it were bugs or something. He started scratching them so much that Jimmy checked up on him, Tango tells him about the itch he's been feeling all morning and suddenly Jimmy is feeling really guilty. He takes Tango to their room and shows him his wings, apologizing profusely that Tango was hurting because of him (It doesn't hurt for him anymore because he's usee to it) Soft Hurt/Comfort ensues
Don't think I forgot about my Property Police or Cold Patrol or Mirror Birds or whatever name they have, honestly they are so underrated. I actually found you because I was looking for PP (and Jimmy) stuff, so thank you for giving me food 🥰🥰🥰

Hi! It's me again! If you don't remember, I'm the person who made this comment. And I'm back for round 2 of angst!
I headcanon that Jimmy's always been a canary, he just hasn't told anyone except Martyn. But as you know, I also headcanon that the Evo member's memories were wiped. So that means that Martyn doesn't remember Jimmy showing him his wings (But maybe Jimmy remembers showing Martyn)
"Why does Jimmy hide his wings??" Because when he was younger, Canaries and other 'cursed' creatures went for a lot on the Black Market, I mean... Who wouldn't want a pet Canary or maybe a Black Cat if you want a quieter pet? (Canaries sing to regulate their emotions. Come on people, I can't be the only who notices that Jimmy sings a lot, especially during streams)
In 3rd Life and Last Life he hid his wings, he only let them out because Tango felt his back itching from how long Jimmy's wings were hiding. After that, he openly shows his wings. But noone knows that he was born a Canary, they think that he was cursed by the Watchers
So yeah, Jimmy's been cursed way before the Life Series and even before Evo. He's actually been cursed ever since he was born

Even Grian (the troublemaker that makes the Watcher’s life hard) who in one of the episodes got a chest full of coal with one diamond in the middle got something valuable, whereas Jimmy got a sapling. (I believe Taurtis or someone else - unsure - commented on how Grian is a diamond in the rough). But Jimmy? He wasn’t liked from the start to the end.
So I think that Jimmothy, our Canary boy, got cursed way before the Life series, that it all started way back in Evo.
I might make a bigger post at some point after I finish watching Evo smp to make a bigger post about the Watchers thing, Grian, Mahtyn and the watchers dislike to Tim, but we shall see.
