I have successfully moved. Of course, where I moved to also has many trials as well physically, spiritually, and family of course. As well as, trying to survive the town gossip. Apparently there is a feud between the town gossip queen and the goat lady, both of whom are neighbors. I told my boyfriend, that at least it gives me more Tumblr content. 😆
Ra My mom hasn’t ever had any pictures of her god around, so I made one as a Christmas present! Lotsa love and good vibes went into this <3

I had a dream where I was in a witch's cottage and in the kitchen she had an iron rack for wooden spoons. Like this but with a pentagram in the center:
And above each hook was a little sign with things like "love", "healing", and "strength". The spoons were enchanted for those purposes and hung on their respective hooks for easy access while cooking.
And I think that's just such a cool idea.... Now to find or make a rack.
Move out day is fast approaching! Between moving and learning all the in and outs being a supervisor. I'm a little stressed out and tired. The house we are moving into needs a few repairs and things replaced. On top of all this we are dealing with his family.
Another round of storms. It was hot and muggy, but now it's cooling off. If my IBS wasn't acting up, I'd feel like doing some weather witchery. But I will settle for playing Minecraft and taking a break from packing.

What type of witch? Truly, I'm eceltic, I dabble in lots of things, but my strongest is solar witch. Sub types include, kitchen, weather, some fae.
Favorite method of cleansing? This varies depending on what it is I'm cleansing. In a "basic" situation, such as just had a bad day, been a rough week, etc. I will do a simple candle spell with incense as I'm physically cleaning something, tidy the room, quick load of laundry. This helps me personally clean my mind and my space. I also have an easy self cleansing spell I do too. For heavier situations, candles, incense, and ring bells. But, I am still going to physically clean my space as well. Like a deeper clean, so like dusting polishing furniture, etc. As well as opening windows to let some fresh air in.
I say this simply because the state of my spiritual space and my head space show in my physical space and vice versa.
I'm gonna have some down time this weekend, so people should me asks. Anything related too,

Do I look up to a spiritual leader/guru? Kinda, Mama J that owns my favorite witchy shop. The only thing with this question, is that I do find her more credible then some others I have been around, but I still question and do my own research on whatever topic we happen to discuss. Because, just because it works for her, may not for me.
Have I had a supernatural experience? Plenty, the college cafeteria that I worked at for 7 years, was pretty active. Pots would fly off shelves, not fall, fly. The clock would float off it's nail, like someone was trying to take it down to change the time, and then drop on the floor. Lights would turn off unexpectedly, not because of power issues or tripping the breaker. And of course, when I would be alone for my weekend breaks, I could hear some of our heavy ceramic plates rattle as if someone was grabbing a stack. And our dishwasher would start itself, even though you had to push something through to hit a switch to activate.
I just want to take a quick second here for all my peeps with Alphabet Soup in their hearts (BIPOC, LGBTQIA, any of the host of acronyms for physical and mental conditions that affect our daily lives, and so on) and anyone else having a hard time with the latest round of US politics bullshit.
My friends, my loves, my darlings. Hold my hand. Squeeze as tight as you need to. (Or we can just sit here together and you can squish this stress ball.) Cry if you need to. Scream if you need to. We'll let it out together, all the anger and fear and worry that's scraping us raw on the inside. It's okay if it's ugly and messy and incoherent and crude. Doesn't matter. Just us here.
I've got a hug if you need one. If you need an encouraging word, I've got lots. And there are thousands of others out there, standing behind you and beside you in spirit. We can't fix everything, but we will do our damndest, bit by bit, to try and make things better.
I want you to promise me that you'll try. Doesn't need to be a lot, doesn't need to be life-altering. Taking care of yourself is enough. Getting through the day is enough. If all you can do is survive, that counts. If you can do more, whether it's standing up or speaking up or helping out in whatever way you can, then you do it with all your heart and know that I'm over here doing the same.
One more big squeeze. And even though it's over a silly post on the internet, I hope you can feel the love and the solidarity that I'm sending your way. I hope it gives you something to hold onto. I hope it lightens your load, even if it's just for a moment.
I want to see you on the other side of this. Doesn't matter how long it takes. I want us to sit together again when things are better, so we can laugh and cry and celebrate. I promise you that I'm going to try. I am living for that day when we don't have to be afraid anymore and I truly hope that you'll be there with me. And if you aren't...or if I'm not...let's both have faith that we tried our hardest and never backed down.

The cliche Kansas weather has begun! Checked the weather earlier, some chance of rain starting Friday and into the weekend. 2 hours later, chance for thunderstorms for my area around 7 pm.
Well, it's 8:30 pm and it's finally here lol.
I understand that this is the season of renewal, rebirth, and change. But..hear me out I would like to get off this roller coaster of emotions! Got a job, been doing pretty good, there is talk of a promotion, and then I was handed a eviction notice. Granted, we all knew this was coming, landlord's son is needing to sell the properties because dad and mom are in the nursing home. I understand, not mad about that.
As much as my current house has irked me, it saddens me that I have to let it go. This house was a starting point for me six years ago getting back on my feet, with a roommate that was like a mom. We encountered good times and bad times together. She lost her son and dad, and she watched me lose my step dad and others. But also, I lost her. She died in the house while my boyfriend and I were at work. My boyfriend was the one that found though because I needed my tax papers.
I understand change isn't easy, I have been through plenty to know that. I know all the people I have lost would want me to do better. But this hits different. I'm not scared, we're only moving like 30 minutes away, it's not that. I just feel melancholy about it all.
