do you think solas cried after crestwood? do you think he walked to a quiet clearing so he could be sure he was alone, or do you think he held it together until they were back at skyhold? did he find some corner away from the rotunda where he could cry without anyone knowing, or do you think they heard him sometimes, late at night, and pretended not to?

So this time I played her "more realistic" and after a long day at Halamshiral, walking through this massive place, snooping around and talking to people while playing their game (by insulting them discreetly ... or not, ahem), you're worn out (you can't convince me otherwise). And instead of dancing, she just wished for his company - and this decision pays off IMMEDIATELY. HE EVEN KISSES HER AT THE VERY END OF THE SCENE, almost not recognisable because the scene fades out, BUT IT IS THERE. Even if it's just a small smooch.

thinking about how mythal is visualized with and connected to the moon, but elgar’nan describes himself as the lord of day and night and can literally control the sun and moon to cause an eclipse. her role in the evanuris as a peacekeeper, immortalizing her as mother and wife forever. how flemeth described herself as nothing “but a shadow, lingering in the sun.” how when the mythal fragment trapped in the fade describes solas’s regrets, it’s recollections “cultivated like a tree twisting to catch the sun.” elgar’nan being the main person described whenever talking about mythal’s first death. how she reveals herself primarily to women who are hurt and abused by men over and over throughout history, reliving betrayal after betrayal for centuries…
