Yup! I’m doing Inktober this year, and it’s actually my first :)

Today I was bored. So, I decided to draw Finn and Leland has mermaids.

Because why not! 🤷‍♀️🙃

Could I request a fic where Fin has a mini break down? I mean he fricking saw his co worker/friend smushed into a cube I’m pretty sure that would be pretty traumatic. Oki thx

I can’t seem to come up with enough solid material to create a fic for this, but I’ll do some headcanons!

Even the toughest agents aren’t bulletproof. This holds true both physically and emotionally, and everyone is affected sooner or later.

Finn’s seen a lot of terrible things, Leland’s corpse was just another thing to add to the list. But somehow, it was differentiated from all the rest by the fact they were friends, and had been their whole lives.

When Finn warns Mater that friendships can be dangerous, he’s not saying that as a general rule. When he says that, he’s thinking of Leland -that boyhood friend that took on that dangerous mission to help him out and get information ahead of time. 

He doesn’t want anyone to have to watch their closest friend die such a brutal, meaningless death. And the best way to prevent something like that is to not have friendships in the first place. It’s simple logic.

Finn copes with tragedy by living in a world of facts. Everyone dies eventually. This happened because of that, and that caused this other thing. Nothing in the past can be changed, and so he doesn’t waste time dwelling on it.

But somehow Leland’s death still haunts him. He doesn’t have any friends outside of work anymore, and he feels himself acting as more of a friend than a coworker to a lot of his fellow agents. He reigns himself in and keeps himself guarded to the best of his ability.

But one day Holley’s about to go out on a dangerous solo mission. Finn can’t deny he’s grown fond of her as a friend. That mission that brought them together changed their lives, and they’ll always have that in common. He wants to make sure she’s okay so he follows her without her consent.

When she catches him, she’s distraught and starts to chew him out. He finally breaks down and counteracts her with an abrupt “I’m not going to watch you die. I refuse.” He knows this mission just might be too much for her. It catches her off guard initially, but she understands, and she also knows that he’s seen things she couldn’t imagine. They fight together, watching each other’s back, and from them on they’re the most trusted of partners.

Now today, here’s my rendition of Siddeley has a human! :D

I decided to make him a little younger then Finn or Leland, but not in his 20s. I actually liked how he turned out :D I hope to more of him in the future!

Today (well actually a few days ago), I drew Cooper giving Leland dating advice!

But for Cooper’s character, it’s not really good dating advice 😅

And Leland’s on the side being, “Why did I trust you for this?!”

For the past couple of days, I’ve been starting to sketch more with color pencils. And I’ve been having an grand time with them!

And, one of those sketches was a Finland one. I can’t resist ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Now time for another of my Cars 2 headcannons!

Meet Oscar Grey and Cooper Healey!

Just to be clear, I didn’t fully create these characters! They are actually the car characters from some of the deleted scenes from Cars 2, that I happily made canon in the Cars Universe in my eyes.

I create Cooper with this car, from the darkest deleted scene.

I made Cooper Healey to be a pretty cocky, confident guy. Who actually became great friends with Leland, before Leland met Finn.

And, I made Oscar with this car from the Oktoberfest deleted scene.

I imagine Oscar to be a new agent at CHROME, with him having some bit of anxiety and insecurities about him being a spy than everyone else.

And, I also imagine these two to become best friends as well! Having Cooper starting to teach Oscar about being a spy, but also teaching Oscar about how to be more confident with yourself and fighting doubt.

Which flatters Oscar so much, that they start to grow a connect with one either, and start becoming the greatest friends.

Here’s also drawings of them as cars ;)

I like these two in the Cars 2 universe, and hope to do more with them someday!

Finn and Leland in Japan! <3

I imagine this scenario being one of Finn and Leland’s spy missions, and it happens to be in Japan.

Probably after a while of doing they’re spy stuff, they both decide to just hang out and have fun in Japan. In a cute and romantic way ;)

And, I think it would be funny that Leland doesn’t really understand Japanese, but Finn does and can speak it. Which I guess can create a funny scenario for both of them, but mostly Leland 🙃

GUYS WE COULD BE HAVING A CARS TV SHOW COMING UP REALLY SOON

While this currently stands in rumor territory, I've looked at various videos that have predictions of something like this coming up. They were made MONTHS ago, leading back into 2019 even, and there hasn't been a recent update yet, but this is still SUPER exciting!!

One video says that someone by the name of Mark Von (? Sound like it) said, and this was written in an auto-week magazine, from the sound of it, and I'm quoting the video I got this from, "'There's a lot more to be coming from the Cars franchise, whatever is coming next,' and then he goes on to say, 'I hear it's a TV Show.'"

This can mean one of two things: 1) it's going to be a Disney+ exclusive, which is the most likely, or 2) It'll be something that streams on television, kind of like how Mater's Tall Tales and Tales from Radiator Springs did in the past. And with other Pixar projects getting extra series-like content, such as Monsters Inc.'s "Monsters at Work" and Toy Story's "Forky Asks a Question" it makes sense :)

Sooooooo, to spark up some conversation, what would you like to see from a Cars TV Show? If it were all in your hands, what would you like to do with it?

But this is an old conversation that I'm just bringing back up again and I hope it catches ur interest ;) as a literal Cars psycho I would LOVE if this happened

What I imagine Leland and his father’s relationship will be:

I imagine Sterling being abandoned as a little car. While wondering around, Sterling gets found by Miles Alxerode and becomes part of the lemons (besides him not being a lemon).

Which causes Sterling to learn a lot from Miles, which might made him become the antagonist in Cars 3 maybe. With Miles being a corrupted business man when he was creating Allinol, Sterling probably learned how to become a courrupted business man because of Miles with Allinol.

That’s probably why Sterling took quite a liking to Lighting McQueen, because of how Lighting and his best friend, Mater, took down Miles and the lemons (who were like family to him). And Sterling wanted Lighting’s racing days to be over has revenge for taking down the Lemons!

That’s just my theory (and I guess headcannon) on Sterling ;)
