Anti Birthday!

3 years ago today was the first appearance of Anti on the channel. I normally don’t mention stuff about him like this because I like him to be a mystery and sort of in the background. But the Anti stuff is a REALLY big deal to me and I love what has come of it.  Thank you for helping me craft such a cool character and being so invested in it! I hope to one day have it all pay off for all of you patient theorists!

First the fucking tags, second the purge, then flagging innocent posts and blogs as sensitive, now I can’t even see people’s reblogs on my posts, are you serious @staff @support ???!!!!

This bullshit is going too far, if this hellsite is coming to an end it’s all your fault.

You didn’t act when it was the time but instead chose to do it with a dollar worth of a fucking bot that doesn’t even work when Apple removed the app from the App Store.

And you know what’s worse? If you used the same fucking algorithm to ban nazis, pedos and bullies at least the purge would’ve been a little more useful, because c'mon who the fuck cares about titties and dicks when there are literal terrorists festering this site?

You talk about “a new better tumblr” when all you’re doing is not care and just throw in a malfunctioning bot that doesn’t even flag the right stuff. You can block tags, specific words, photos, videos, but instead of deleting what’s really been bothering the users for all this time you just go for the easy stuff, and you know that the media will talk about this, about “tumblr deleting porn and dirty blogs”, but guess what, I highly suspect that the titles will more likely be “ Tumblr fucks up, again” because that’s what you do, dear staff, you make promises and then throw them into the void with all those blogs that’ve been wrongfully deleted.

You wanna fix stuff? Fix the tags. Fix the filters. Fix the reblogs. Fix your fucking and apparently useless algorithm.

And you wanna know something? If your algorithm works but also deletes other things other than what was meant to flag and purge then it doesn’t work, it’s broken. Don’t take credit for something that works 10% of its meant functionality, and it’s my best guess, because if a thing doesn’t work and you know it then it’s your job as creators to not unleash it, to keep it until it works properly and can do a good job without ruining innocent users’ blogs and experiences.

But instead you opted for the easy option, setting up a malfunctioning bot just to be granted another chance and be seen as hardworking and caretaking under Apple’s angry eyes.

You wanna know what is imperative to succeed in purging tumblr of all that shit? Actually caring about the people that use it every damn day.

And from how things are going? You don’t seem to care very much.

We respect the copyrights and trademarks of others, and we take all reports seriously to ensure that your creative expression is protected. We make this clear in our Community Guidelines. There’s already a legal framework that works and is fair: Today we take down posts and media that contain allegedly infringing content when we receive a valid DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) takedown request. We also provide clear-cut ways for people to fight back if they believe their removed content was not a true violation. These instances are monitored and reported and live in our biannual transparency report. 

The suggestion to use automated filters for issues of copyright is short-sighted at best and harmful at worst. Automated filters are unable to determine whether a use should be considered “fair use” under the law and are unable to determine whether a use is authorized by a license agreement. They are unable to distinguish legitimate parody, satire, or even your own personal pictures that could be matched with similar photographs that have been protected by someone else. We don’t believe that technology should replace human judgment. Tumblr is and always has been a place for creative expression, and these new regulations would only make it harder for you to express yourself with the freedom and clarity you do so now.

Hello everyone in the great jse community. Funny title huh. So I have sth in mind that I wanna share with you guys. I can only do this with your help. So as you all know the channel is about to hit 19m subs. So it means there is only 1m left to 20m subs which I think is a pretty hight and special number. So I wanna start a thing. We want you guys to write “HAPPY 20M SUBS BOSS” on your hands and take pics of them.

Sth like this. Sorry I don’t have a good handwriting and I can’t draw 😂 this is just an example.

Then we will put them together and make a slide show kind of video for Jack. I’m not sure if we’ll be able to make the vid but even if it doesn’t get made we’ve done a nice little thing with the pics for Jack :) Maybe if the vid get made we’ll be able to ask him to react to it? That’s unlikely but first let’s hope that the video will get made. I’m not sure if it’ll be done esp cause my exams will start in a few days but I’ll try my best so that it’ll be done.
