Finally finished the animation for khellsung version of porque te vas!

(I used the Korean version since tog is obviously from Korea)

I also went with my theory that Hansung will die towards the end, this mostly comes from the translation of his name.

Now, I know someone might ask: “why would you make Evankhell smile when Hansung dies?”

There’s 2 reasons:

1. Evankhell doesn’t want to show weakness.

2. This happens at the end of the battle against jahad, so they had won and Hansung kept his promise

In it there's a mini story where Bam loses all the candy he was going to give everyone for white day and Khun helps him find it. At the end they throw a party and Khun shows up in his white day skin, that one with bunny ears. It ends with that art where Khun is starting to read the note Bam wrote to him out loud and Bam is trying to stop him🤭 My profile pic is a panel from season 3 EP 128 at the end of the nest battle arc

One thing I find hilarious in Tower of God is that our first real look at Zahard and V are so vastly different. They're both images from when they were younger (Zahard via his data doppelganger in s2e284 and V from Traumerei's flashback in s3e213). But like, this is their first full reveal side by side.

I know other images of Zahard do have him looking a lot better than this initial one, but like V's initial image is literally a thirst trap. Like, I'm ace, and even I can get why Arlene would be more attracted to V than Zahard. That race was kinda finished before it started if you get what I mean.

On another note, was it really necessary for that to be our first look at Baam’s father, SIU? Was it really?

This month, celebrating my 5th anniversary of shipping KhunBam/BamKhun, I will redraw some of my old KB/BK fanarts of 5 years 🫶

Rereading TOG in my target language is fun and all but why does there have to be so many mistakes???? It's the official translation too???? I'm not even fluent enough to catch most of them which makes me worried that I'll get worse at it

Just finished reading a chap where they used feminine pronouns to refer to Khun, 💀 Rak may refer to you by the wrong species but i like to think that he would respect pronouns

Everytime i listen to Irregular God and think about Bam I get chills. It fits so well I know i’ve talked abt this so so so many times BUT GOD ITS SO FITTING FOR HIM

I CANT STOP TALKING ABOUT HOW WELL IT WORKS FOR HIM

Its so tragic and yet the chorus that sounds like people worshipping him BUT HE’S A CHILD AND ONE WHO HAS NO IDEA WHATS GOING ON

And I think about Bam now and god I get so emotional remembering where he started and how different he is now. He’s found confidence in himself but its in some part arrogance, ARROGANCE THAT HE DID NOT HAVE at the start of the series and that gets me in my feels that he did not HAVE that in him until FUG. He’s snarky and more confident about fighting, even ready to sacrifice lives to win, which he definitely couldn’t fathom becoming okay with when he started climbing. White whom he loathed ends up being right, that Bam WILL learn to burn souls, something Bam fought White over and Bam is forced to make his peace w that. The hug w Khun and Bam was so pivotal also that reassurance that Bam is still a good person even if he does things he wishes he’d never have to, all of that are little bits of him that hasn’t changed since FUG.

You see how even now, he doesnt want the casualties, he sees the families tearing each other apart and he doesn’t understand it, he doesn’t want it

And it adds so much weight to Hwaryun actually, the degree to which Bam has changed. All the experiences that Hwaryun guided him to, changed him and she actually is painfully aware of it. If i remember right she’s the one who tells Wangnan that its not fair that someone who so clearly was not meant to be who Bam is now was given a destiny that is this gorey. No one else pushes Bam down this road as brutally as she does, and she knows it. That scene of her giving Bam the choice, the first time she makes it clear and obvious that it truly is his choice did SO MUCH for her character and omg how did me gushing about Irregular God turn into Bam and Hwaryun analysis

aight you know what yeah that's on me. probably shouldn't have introduced my identity as "yeah I'm aro ace but I still have growing to do so I'm not ruling out the possibility of finding someone I'm comfortable enough with to date in the far future" as now you dare hint that I have "great chemistry" with my singular guy friend. lesson learned. I think that the height average is just a lot higher in TOG. Idk if it counts as canon but I know one of the TOG: New World loading screen says Yuri is 180cm tall and how that's not considered very tall in the tower. Rankers are just built different (long). Idk but I don't like the idea of me being taller than Bam that just feels wrong 💀

I know that Baam’s supposed to be like 5'10" 5'11" (according to the wiki and assuming my math is right), but seeing how small he is next to any of the other characters and how excited he got when Jinsung suggested that he grew when they reunited during the Nest Arc just reads (to me) that he's not that tall. Maybe it's my 5'1" ass having a skewed idea of what tall is, but I'd put him at like 5'7" if even. He's a head shorter than most characters. He's a little guy.
