Also, considering fighting styles within Arctic Thunder, I’d love to write out training montages or even flashbacks of the characters really honing their craft.

Especially knowing Ethan was the first to be adopted by Hayley, I’d love to see a little Ethan fighting her with his tricera pistols, developing a close combat style against blades. Like imagine how cool that’d be, AND to add that with ranger powers too👀👌🏾

We all had to draw something on the whiteboards in my art history class the other day so I spread the good word with my pookies (also drawing on a whiteboard is surprisingly difficult)

Guess i’m just on my power rangers bullshit now- I love these doofuses. Anyone recognize the reference used for the main trio? It kinda hit me how fitting it would be while I was thinking of what to draw.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer – 5.04: Out of My Mind

1/? For my Grid Gala 2025 ✨

I was gonna finish Aisha’s first but her dress ended up being very detail heavy and my brain hurts so I decided to finish up Zhane first because drawing tig ol’ bitties is my happy place and my anxiety has been wrecking me as of late. The whole idea with the “Heavenly Bodies” theme I had was constellations, so all of the fits are inspired by constellations. Zhane’s is Polaris/The North Star, which made me think almost snowy vibes and I for some reason specifically came to an Emma Frost inspired design- at least in spirit. The silvery bits are meant to evoke swirling galaxies/star systems like you always see in those nasa photos- overall a kind of regal, starry, snowy, icy vibe. And all of the colors bar the ice is just the colors from Zhane’s ranger suit. I didn’t fully realize until recently that the squares on the silver ranger suit were like, green and not just the normal colors on the other suits.

Also meant to post this earlier in the day but I got completely sidetracked binging Abbott Elementary ☠️

Tbh I don’t think I did too good of a job at getting Zhane’s likeness but oh well, guess that just means I need to draw him (and his boobs) more teehee 🙈

Theo’s First Design - Grid Gala 2025 WIP💙✨🦇✨🖤✨🦇✨💙✨

Today we have Theo’s design wip, he is one of the rebellious individuals for the heavenly bodies theme this year. The outfit consists of shadowy energy that is conjured by Theo’s bat spirits and the light of his eclipsed halo creating this phantom-like appearance similar to vampires like Dracula. The wings covering his eyes imitate how Seraphim angels cover their eyes with angelic wings.

The catch here is that not only will I be finishing this design, but I’ll be making a second suit, one that’s angelic and seen as a fallen angel opposite for Theo. Stay tuned for the final version of this and the second suit🪽💙✨
