i definitely miss the ergonomic benefits of limiting it to only the neck pickup, but i've been spending some time with my main jazzmaster wired to have every pickup combo available in the rhythm position and it's kind of crazy how versatile this setup is. like the bridge pickup through the rhythm circuit is so insanely sweet and pretty, i really like it for gentler low-gain rhythm stuff and also solos with that same vibe
