FANTASTIC! I could not agree more
“The Mandalorian” kept giving me “The Iron Giant” vibes…
Cars, lol
what's the first movie you remember seeing in theaters? don't try and be all edgy and cool and say like tetsuo: the iron man. be honest.
Go!!

Love that he has prosthetic legs! I also really dig the textures. This is amazing art! ❤
modern au zagreus my beloved
[ID: the first image is a digital drawing of zagreus from the game hades in a modern au. he is sitting on top of a balcony banister in a ¾ view. he is smiling and his hands are resting next to his thighs. he is wearing a red hoodie with black details and the sleeves rolled up and dark red work out shorts. he is an amputee, so he is wearing his below knee prosthetics on both legs. the socket, the top part of the prosthetic, is a dark red, while the shin tubes are silver. the prosthetic foot is colored in the same yellow and red as in the game. the second image is a closeup of the same drawing, focusing on zagreus’ face; his eyes being two colors, one green and one dark brown. This is J.R.R. Tolkien reading—and singing!—excerpts from The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and it is exactly as amazing as it sounds. George Sayer, a friend of Tolkien’s, helped make the recordings while Tolkien was visiting him in August 1952, two years before The Lord of the Rings was published. (It doesn’t have that information under the youtube videos, but I was able to find out the context from Tolkien Gateway and the Tolkien Library.) These are so wonderful and I’m so glad they exist! It’s absolutely delightful to hear the Professor reading his own stories. You have not lived until you have heard Tolkien’s Gollum impression, or his Treebeard voice, or him speaking in Elvish…not to mention reading The Ride of the Rohirrim! Yes, he actually recorded that and it is literally the best thing ever. It’s amazing to listen to him reciting the Song of Beren and Lúthien (just like Strider told it to the hobbits!), and everything else, and I’m so, so, so glad that these recordings were made. This is a treasure trove! I want more people to know about this!

Finally, this is George Sayer’s note on the recordings, which I transcribed from this radio broadcast because I thought others would like to read it.

Bold of you to assume Pippin wouldn't do all of the above first.
