Oh my gosh! I absolutely adore your Bio dad Shadowpeach AU! The angst of the last post took me off guard but was definitely needed. I’m glad the blow up happened sooner rather than later so this can hopefully be resolved soon! I am wondering if MK would notice the extra tenseness such a blowup would have caused during training! (Since Wukong mentioned he had training in the morning) would he try and help them resolve it? Or maybe ask someone else for advice?

About your monkey trio comic! (my favorite thing ever btw) I noticed that redson tends to be alot more reciprocal to touch from mk, so I won't wondering if 1) spicy noodles would be in this comic as a ship and 2) if the two could have a moment together where he tells redson about the whole parents thing since redson also has some pretty on and off relationships in the beginning with his parents, kind of a bonding moment

Also Macaque regress into shadow mode when dissociating bc of stress. I don’t think there were many therapist back in the JTTW times so Wukong found out by trial and error how to calm him down by grounding his senses and doing the one thing he can do best: blatering about himself.

I think It's only fair that Wukong gets his own night terror Hurt/Comfort chapter (Mac might not be the best with words but at least he does the best scratches)

At this point Mac and Wukong need to get over themselves and share a bed. It would probably benefit them both a lot.

Macaque being slightly coldblooded at night bc being resurrected kept his body temperature lower + Wukong being touch-starved = gay monkeys cuddling

Honestly I just needed a context for the next update and this anon vision was like sent from heaven. This is the calm before the mini-storm. Many frequently asks will be answered in the next 3/4 updates.

I see a lot of people asking the gays to kiss. I more than agree and I’m the first who would want that. I also must say though that, at this point, forgiveness is still in the process. Trust, at least from my ace perspective, should be earned gradually and with both sides not enforcing the other, but letting the door open so the other can take their time to step forward.

Maybe I’m just talking aimeless, but all of this to say that we need more platonic /queerplatonic cuddling in general media.

I know that there going to be a bit of angst related to wukong and macaque but is there going to be angst related to MK, macaque, and wukong? Cause I feel like there would be a situation where MK would be overwhelmed by power and lose control or something or maybe MK being at risk to another near death experience. Personal comments under the cut (mentions of past self harm)

Around 3 years ago I had some anxiety issues, one of the main things that I thought it wasn't self harm for so long was the fact that when something that involved other people went wrong because of a choice of mine (even just minor inconveniences) the pain of guilt was so strong that to turn it down I had to physically sting my skin with my nails. (I play guitar, so I always have a hand with longer nails to play arpeggio). Never it went to the point that it would bleed, but bc of that I thought It was no problem. Thanks to my therapist I know that just because it wasn't the "typical" self harm doesn't mean it wasn't a serious issue.

All of this to say that I might be projecting a little. And honestly I can't even imagine how terrible Wukong might feel everytime the guilt comes back to him...

About wukong and macaque

Both these bitches did wrong, but remember that MK saw the vision starting from the fight itself, not what happened before. He then read the chapters of the book and read that Macaque also attacked. I personally think he's mostly hurted by what Wukong did, not because it's worse of what Macaque did, but because he idolized Wukong for so long, and while he know he did so many wrongs in the past, his vision of a "hero" dissapeared in this moment. He s mostly dissapointed let's say. Of course it's not the best of things to put tour heroes on a pedal because you will always be dissapointed. I guess MK learned the lesson...

About what MK said in panel 8

Our monkey boy is remembering his own very stupid thing he sacrificied himself without trying to talk it out with the others AND using the circuit on Wukong.

About the posters

Yes they were Monkey King posters. MK ripped them immediately after the vision because he still was not sure was reality and vision and was scared.

About the eye

Because I would prefer no one dies of angst, his eye is fine, it s more like symbolism.
