What drugs were the calamity devs on when they came up with this bullshit 'just throw it all at the wall' bossfight.

I mean it's just excessive.

This deathmode playthrough was going perfectly fine, got to hardmode, got to mechs, and then just stopped here. Hell, I went past them.

I beat Plantera, Calamitas, Brimstone Elemental, Aquatic Scourge, I'm thinking i might as well fight fucking ravager at this point.

I'm just gonna lower the difficulty for skeletron and then up it again immediately after because that fight is the absolute worst designed thing I have ever had the misfortune of playing.

Keep in mind, they're playing summoner, at the moment I'm playing rogue.

Clearly, going into deathmode without a plan is not going to work anymore since they buffed the everliving shit out of every boss, so! I made an objectives list.

Yes I did do this on company time why do you ask?

Been 1 year since I passed my driving test, so I finally got to remove my R plates!

If you don't know, R plates mean you can't go over 45 mph at any point until you've been driving for one year. Not even on motorways

Well, turns out i didn't need more than one more day to finish the Eternity Death run (Fargo's soul + Calamity).

Was a lot of fun, if you don't mind the early struggles.

Had a few moments where I felt incredibly underpowered (Yharon and DoG especially, they took forever to kill) but felt even better to overcome it all

Anyway, here's the last couple highlights.

Last night was crazy in the calamity world.

Just sped through ravager, lunatic cultist, pillars, moonlord, dragonfly, providence, and started fighting storm weaver.

Crazy how much one change can affect the run.

Ah, yeah, without mining you can't really separate the evil biome after prehardmode. Guess just go as fast as you can?

I'm pretty sure (don't quote me on this, this is purely memory) that in hardmode you can use crates fished before WoF and get hardmode ores. So if that's true, you can always grind out a shit ton of crates before moving on and then open them all after for a quick headstart.

That challenge does sound like it'd be incredibly grindy and pretty luck-based on worldgen and drop chance. But you'll never know if you don't try, so I hope it all goes well!!

So, is it true their is a chance of a bomb dropped by shaking trees in those 2 seeds? If so what is the chance?

And do i really need wood for much before i can get the dryad? Seems can make a workbench out of cactus and bamboo for instance.
