13. Are there any moments of their past they keep secret? “I don’t talk much about who I was before I became Illidari. Who I used to be is pretty much wiped from history with only Jari knowing my family name. That’s why he’s the only one allowed to call me ‘River’. But even he doesn’t know what happened to my family despite it being the reason I became Illidari myself.”

15. Would they rather go back and relive their childhood? Why or why not? “I had a happy enough childhood. Both my parents were loving to us and each other. My brother and I got along well. I had many friends and wonderful experiences. But....If I knew what was about to happen then it would just embitter reliving all those times. I would like to hug my mother again though....”

Azalea: Who does your character wish would take better care of themselves? “In all honesty, most of my Illidari brethren. I am just as guilty of this, I know, but for too long we set aside ourselves for the greater good. We let both body and mind degrade until nothing was left of the people we used to be. We don’t have to be just weapons anymore.”

Briony: What’s one time your character has helped a friend? “The entirety of the long years at the temple was in effect one big time trying to help Jari come out of his wings. The other Illidari didn’t make it easy either. I was the one who initiated him, he was my responsibility yet somehow he ended up helping me just as much during that time. I always knew Jari could be more then what he believed himself to be and I’m elated to see him finally blossoming.”

Foxglove: Has your character ever lied about something? “I don’t particularly care for lying, it gets people killed or worse. I also find it insulting to be lied to. When asked directly I will always answer truthfully, but.... I may be guilty of not telling the whole truth. Such as when I went on my hunt for the eye for Jari or... saying that I’m fine. It’s not a lie when its to yourself.” 

Jonquil: Has your character ever confessed their love for someone? How did it go? Kore’s smile slowly blooms, showing the several sets of intimidating fangs before he turned to look up where the rainbow of aura dances and no doubt sings way up in the rookery with the other little flame auras of bats. “I’ve confessed twice this year.... and I’d say both were the best thing that I ever did. I was very humbled to be apart of the family we built and would give anything for their happiness.” @jinxandjingles mentions

OZ Table Series by Nikita Bukoros

The Ukrainian designer Nikita Bukoros created this set of three tables with the imaginary possibilities of the world of OZ in mind. Each wooden table gets random mirror shapes inserted, making every table unique. the mirrors sit on the surface like little spills of liquid silver reflecting flowers, vases and other items that are placed on the table, creating beautiful compositions of their surroundings.

"Just one? Oh... 'cause I am very partial to all of them."

He huffed and tilted his head, though a small smile crept onto his lips. "Although... That night River showed up on a rain-washed island in the middle of nowhere... Well. I thought I'd never see him again after being trapped in the Vault with all of my unresolved feelings."

He blushed and ran a hand through his hair before tucking his fingers under his chin. "I was emotional. I confessed so many things... And River, for his part, is a man of very little words, but... For the purpose of our reconnection, that was just fine. I never want to relive the separation, and I've done it once already... But the reconnections? I'll do those over and over as many times as I can because nothing beats the feeling of falling back into the arms of someone you feel so strongly for."

While we make no claims to truly send you out of our world, we do make ones to guarantee you’ll have a starry night of entertainment. 

Maelstrom Nightclub is located in Rustberg Village, Tol Barad, and will be open from 7pm - 9pm WRA server time. We are faction neutral, so both horde and alliance are encouraged to pick up some elixirs of tongue and come down for a good night!
