they're unreliable narrators
"I never asked for this"
can’t believe this week’s invincible episode was basically steven yeun in the booth yelling and arguing with himself for like an hour
They say that the way you should view disagreements in relationships is “us vs the problem” and not “me vs them” and I think that to a certain extent that mindset can also be helpful when engaging in political or ideological movements
I am SICK and TIRED of amber hate. Just because she didn't change herself for Mark. She is in no way a bad person. She knew what she wanted in a relationship, she knew what was healthy for her, and she knew it wasn't what she had with Mark. She loved him, but she also knew that their relationship was unhealthy, that Mark couldn't be what she needed, and that she couldn't be what Mark needed. And if I see Amber slander one more time I am going to lose my mind.

The thing about Invincible is that it's got more than one villain who's an insane anarchoprimitivist following an underpants-gnome scheme of
1. Kill a bunch of innocent people in a big terror attack.
2.????
3. Collapse of industrialized society and a return to an anprim utopia.
And this would be very, very easy to pigeonhole as a completely unrealistic and uncharitable caricature of people who have any kind of developed politics whatsoever. Unless, of course, you've been around certain corners of the internet for more than five minutes, in which case the show becomes a soothing balm provided in lieu of the magical ability to reach through your screen and out certain other people's screens and throttle the living daylights out of them
AU Thragg and Mark. Where Thragg is invited to a family reunion party.
