So-- I have an Inscryption Fan character-- and I haven't made a fan character in ages, so-- I'll just keep it under a cut and if y'all feel like reading, go for it.
So I have a Scrybe fan character named [Removed]. Title is simply- The Removed Scrybe. This comes from the fact that his files start with Removed_ and the file name. In theory, he was supposed to be a 5th Scrybe, but was either scrapped due to lack of time, or finding that technically he might seem repetitive with the other Scrybes about.
Appearance- Like Leshy, [Removed] (Rem for short), appears in darkness. That is where the likenesses end. He is permanently enshrouded by shadows. This IS part of his normal appearance. He has 3 eyes that the player can see. On on the right side of his face, and two on the left. One is placed above the other. While you may not see it, he has many a limb and multiple mouths, and fangs. All's more the mystery... I'll speak more about his appearance under Gameplay.
Gameplay- (This is the least hashed out, so you'll need to forgive me.) [Removed] plays an over-arcing campaign as P03 and Leshy do if found among the files and loaded somehow. He sits across from you and a deep, single guitar strum is heard when he speaks to you. He marvels at how you could have found him, and then ponders that perhaps he has a game in him yet. Before the player will be a marble table, a sterling silver scale that is so new it's almost white, and a massive deck of cards. To be frank, you start out with an obscene amount of cards, more than you'd need...but that's the point. Instead of gathering cards, you trade away less important cards for more powerful ones. This could be a boon or your downfall depending on how the game is played, because sometimes, as we have seen, you need fodder. This should make the game flow Hard- easier- easier-super easy- harder- harder- extremely hard in the end moments. You HAVE to trade something for something, so if you end up at the last boss with only 3 cards, that's a lesson in Avarice. Each hit you take results in a golden coin landing on the scale. The coin itself has no markings. In order to depict the scene of his tale, [Removed] will change the lighting of his room, play audio effects, and even extend a matching appendage that fits the role he plays. (hand, claw, tentacle, you name it)
Other stuff- The old_data exists, but the funny little mustached man is nixed for this AU. He knows the old_data exists and accepts that it is so. For it's easy to compartmentalize when you are in pieces. Parts of him were given to each scrybe. Nothing overly big, but still, the things that made him. He still has his assets, so if you look really, really hard you might be able to find him.
Misc (funny thing)- When you have a game over with him, he seems just as exasperated as you may feel. He has Laughing, Curious, and Normal noises, but only one Exasperated/Frustrated sound that sounds like the shifting of a bow string against smooth wood.

3/27/22: Craft
Her craft is very close to mine
Art, yet also direct notation
Truth and creativity
at the same time
What parts are left and what is kept
is up to the artist
I may choose to only photograph a creatures head
She may refuse to write about the worst parts of someone
I control the atmosphere
while she weaves a plot
I create a tone
she writes what holds it together
Her craft is very similar to mine
We continue to help each other
Even when I take control
I take care of her bones
Idea: Leshy's relationship with Grimora, the roles they serve in their game, and how they influence each other.
sometimes someone isn’t “toxic,” they’re just “abrasive.” or “mutagenic” or “highly flammable,” and you should always check their material safety data sheet to be sure

I choose to believe that the reason the Angler is called Fishbot in Act 3 is that P03 asked him his name, and the Angler either called him ‘bad fish/bad robot fish’ or told him to 'go fish’ or just mumbled 'fish’ as he sometimes does, and P03 just heard 'fish’ and assumed that was his name and slapped it on the card because of it
