3 new characters in school spirits season 2 and I’m gonna discuss em ! why not.

i loved every single new character in season 2. like it didn’t feel forced, it felt natural, and i love that. they all fit right in like they’d been there since season 1, another perfect example of amazing cast chemistry.

diego: nicole’s older brother

first of all, that mine is… fine. straight up. i like him so far, but also kinda neutral. i wonder if his only relevance was for the college thing or if he’s gonna be included in helping the group somehow! that would be cool to see.

yuri: russian pottery guy

he’s just .. chill. like i love his vibe. he smokes and just plays with pottery all day. like, i love him already. also, little easter egg but sometime in season 1 they mention yuri🫡

quinn: band marching girl

definitely my favourite out of the other two!! she’s so cute!! she’s friendly, she’s helpful like i love her viibe.

crying i just realised something..

they made tory lonely asf in season 5, by herself, no boyfriend, no friends. only had devon and kreese fr, (barely even kreese if i’m being honest) also dealing w guilt

was essentially abused by her sensies and was forced to punch stone, which broke her hand.

THEN, they had her happy for 4 episodes in season 6, THEN THEY KILLED HER MOTHER. she goes back to cobra kai, she doesn’t fw her team, lonely AGAIN, disqualified from tournament, teammate died in front of her..

like when will she catch a break good god. like, this is just tragedy, after tragedy 😭

they said here go tory 4 seconds of happiness, back to being miserable 😭😭

silly headcanon, but I like to think that Tory did learn some Korean. But just so she can talk with Yoon and Kwon. (But I guess now it’s only Yoon 😭.)

So sometimes she’s hanging out with the myagi-do group, Yoon would call her and they’d have a conversation only in Korean. They haven’t a single idea of what she’s saying, they’ll hear one of their names dropped and get immediately terrified. None of them know a lick of Korean so they don’t realize that she’s not THAT good at it, it’s choppy and sometimes she has to pause when it comes to certain phrases. Tory’s not saying anything bad about them, she’s just bringing them up. But it scares the shit out of her friends so she keeps doing it.

she learns more over time. She’s pretty proficient and it’s always a jumpscare to her friends.

If I see one more person blaming Tory for joining Cobra Kai and “”” betraying “”” Miyagi-Do after none of those people have a fuck about her lost and grief of her MOTHER I’ll commit a felony.

Summary

Tory's mother is dead, she needs to fight in Sekai Taikai, and since on Miyagi- Do she won't get her shot, she does the only other thing she can. She takes Kreese's offer and follows him to Korea to meet her new team. She has no plans to make friends.

But the best things come unplanned. Yoon Do Jin wasn't part of the plan.

Yet, he makes sure she's okay, that she eats and more importantly that she's here to win Sekai Taikai

As promised +10k of Tory and Yoon being besties, and... some of Tory's angst and pain, because this story couldn't be written without it.

It took me a little longer than I thought, but you know this friendship has been stuck in my head.

I saw several Miguel fans basically saying that we can't be upset if Johnny doesn't put Robby before Miguel just because he's his biological son because family doesn't end with blood and adoptive kids deserve the same love and all that, but then why the hell doesn't anyone expect the same from Carmen?

The show couldn't care less about showing a relationship between Robby and Carmen, she never ever mention him (not even when telling Johnny and Miguel that her unborn child will have a badass brother -hello? He will have TWO brothers), and apparently it's perfectly fine for her to only care about Miguel since that's her biological son.

But somehow the show makes sure to show Johnny trying so so so bad to not show any kind of favoritism to one or the other when it comes to Robby and Miguel (when he does the exact same speech before the captain fight, like wow, Robby waited 16 years for his father to support him and when that finally happens is with the same exact words he tells Miguel too), because suddenly someone being the biological son means nothing when it comes to him.

This means in this little family Miguel will always be Carmen's and yaya's first choice, while Robby is not allowed to be Johnny's first choice becuase he needs to be impartial.

And somehow he didn't get the short end of the stick?

i see the opinion that ‘writers favour tory over sam’ A LOT, and i dislike this take. it’s genuinely so dumb to me

i could debate it but i just can’t be asked, i’ll be honest.

i don’t believe that writers have shown favouritism towards tory, for sam literally ever. so in season 6, the last season if they’re giving tory more attention than sam (if that’s why you think) then so be it. seriously.

like maybe i’m bias cause tory is my favourite, but truly, i don’t see the favouritism that they’re seeing? like point me too it right now 😂😂
