i’ve been laughing at drow tav and gale ever since i read somewhere that apparently in lolth-sworn society, wizardry is a man’s work (derogatory, i can only assume?). imagine being a male drow or i don’t know an at least somewhat progressive female drow, and you finally get out of the underdark and possibly the first man you meet and team up with in the game has the primary backstory points that he’s a wizard and that he had an insane power dynamic with his female ex. i’d be having conniptions.

the real reason they cut ketheric being a companion is that if he had to be in the same room as gortash and durge for a single second ever again, he'd simply kill everyone. the moment he sees gortash give durge that stupid puppy dog eyes look he'd end it all.

would you mind deleting their scam from your blog, or clearly labeling it as a scam so it doesn't spread to others? in the future, please remember to search the username/paypal account name/text used by the people asking for money in your inbox

i really recommend looking at their pinned posts in order to better recognize scams, not just using this list as a blocklist, because once they are terminated they each will immediately remake their scams under a new username

Hey thank you for warning me of this! i tired to look up the name online when i got the ask in my box, but i couldn't find anything strangely enough, and there wasn't a PayPal linked in the post sent to me. i have updated the post and labeled it as a scammer, plus i blocked the account. its so sad that people are using the tragedy in Gaza for scams, but that is the sad nature of humans unfortunately. again thanks for telling me

Durgetash Fic Concept: A Durge that has no interest whatsoever in resisting the urge, that loves killing and longs to reshape the world into endless piles of corpses in their father's name, watches Gortash die in front of them and instantly decides that they'd fight Bhaal naked with only their teeth and claws if that was what it took to get him back. Then recognizes that what they actually need in order to get him back is something perhaps even more frightening—leverage over Bane.

So they resist Bhaal, resist the Emperor, resist anyone else who dares get in their way, and claim the Netherbrain for themselves, then... they make an offer to Bane (as spoken to through the remains of the only life that ever actually mattered). They'll unleash the army of Baldur's Gate in his name... on one condition.

Bane already knows what that condition is, of course. He's amused, primarily. He knows he's already won, that Durge's desire for power makes him stronger whether they actively help him or not, that their desire for Gortash makes them weaker and gives him a way to control them whether Durge acknowledges it or not. So he agrees.

Gortash comes back to a world where Durge is Bane's Chosen and master of the Netherbrain, where they've achieved everything that he failed to. His soul may not have spent long suffering at Bane's hand, but it was long enough to mar it. He doesn't understand why they brought him back. He failed, he'd shown that he's not Durge's equal. He says that Durge should send him back to Bane.

Durge looks at him with eyes that are somehow both disappointed and eager. Doesn't he see? He's not Durge's equal. Bane gifted him to them. He's not going anywhere. He'll sit on the throne beside them if they tell him to. Durge will drag him kicking and screaming back to their shared kingdom if they have to.
