──────── yeon sieun
Baku had called you, his voice was weighed with worry as he told you Sieun was hurt badly and unconscious. Your heart had sunk right there, the world had become blurry. Everything that came out of Baku’s mouth through the phone sounded so far away, as if someone had put your head underwater. you had felt like your legs would give up any second.
You had rushed with some first aid to Eunjang right away, fighting the fidgety feeling and anxiety you felt the entire bus ride. When you reached the secret hangout room you found three of the four boys hurt, one of them— your Sieun, lying down, and unconscious.
You had questioned and scolded them but they knew your anger came from a place of concern. Juntae had said that he and Gotak were fine, he had half-lied. All three of them had come to some unspoken agreement to leave you with Sieun alone to patch him up.
Your chest tightens as you settle near Sieun, slowly moving his hair out of his forehead to look at his wounds. Red bruises abloom on both his cheeks and forehead, gashes on both his cheek bones and a busted lip— just what was he upto?
You start by cleaning his chin and hands with wet wipes. You then disinfect his face and forehead, your breathing becomes heavier. You don't know how to clean his lips properly, after all you're not a medical professional, so you just opt to clean the area around his mouth properly. Your eyes start to burn a little, your heart is getting heavier each passing second.
Sieun’s eyes flicker open, his gaze is far away but he soon notices your presence, you are trying to rip a bandaid out of its packaging. He calls out your name, his voice is shaky and hoarse.
You turn towards him, a wave of relief washing over you as you notice him awake. He tries to get up but you push him down to rest, your attempts are futile as he sits straight anyway. He looks dazed.
“Sieun-ah,” You say, you don't add anything else, unable to think of a proper statement. Your eyes start to burn again, you try to blink it away but instead tears start to trail down your cheek. Sieun mirrors your expression. His eyes redden as tears collect.
“I’m sorry.” He utters, raw and pained. Your chest tightens and a lump forms in your throat.
“It’s okay, I am here now.” You breathe out, your voice is weak despite nothing being okay, you try to be strong.
“No, no, I am sorry.” His words are a little slurred and drawled as repeats. You take his hand in your own, holding it gently, you start to run your fingers over his hand in soothing motions. Your touch is feather light, as if you're afraid that you'll break Sieun. He stops you and grips your fingers lightly with his own, signaling for you to respond. Your vision is getting a little blurred but you hold it in for Sieun’s sake.
“Okay.” You say, your voice is weak. “I accept your apology. Now, let me put this bandaid on you.”
Sieun switches from holding your hand to gripping your sleeve between his fingers. You peel off the wrapper and put the bandaid on his cheekbone gently. Sieun’s eyes start to water. You wipe them with the back of your fingers before they can fall past his under eyes.
“They… your tears… they will burn your wounds. So, stop, okay? There's no need to cry, okay? I am here now.” You speak softly.
You usher him to lay down, his hand holding onto yours firmly. He does not want to let you go. You bring his hand towards your face and press a faint kiss on the back of his hand. His grip loosens slightly as he passes out again.
──────── ahn suho
To say you were pissed would be an understatement. You were beyond angry at this point. As you put a dressing on his forearm, Suho finally breaks the silence.
“Wanna go to noraebang?” Typical Suho. Typical Suho behaviour. Always trying to change the topic.
“No.” You say.
“C’mon, I’ll take you to eat ice-cream after.” He tries to persuade you, taking your hands in his own, entwining softly. Subtly indicating that he doesn't want to talk about this, trying to put on an act to pretend that this never happened.
“No.” You repeat standing your ground.
He pouts as you retreat your hands and continue to apply ointment on his scratches.
“No use in pouting. I thought you were over this shit, beating up people and getting hurt.”
He doesn't respond so you refuse to meet his eyes. You start to apply some gel on the scratches of his face and he starts to pucker his lips, asking for a kiss. You put your palm on his lips.
“Stop it.” He licks your palm instead—? You withdraw your hand and smack him.
Wiping your hand with his uniform, you go back to applying the gel. Suho realises you're both awfully close, your face near his own. He looks at you, your face, how you have a little pout and how your eyebrows are furrowed as you delicately apply the ointment on him.
He notices how your lips tremble a little and your eyes are blinking a lot. Are you holding in your tears?
“Hey.” He holds your wrist. “I’m–”
“What?” You finally break– tears brim and fall out of your eyes. This time, you pretend. You pretend that you are not crying. You try to go back to patching him but his hold on your wrists is too strong.
“Hey, hey.” He utters softly, his voice sounds apologetic.“I’m… sorry. I know I told you I won't do this anymore but… it just happened.”
You bite the insides of your cheeks avoiding his gaze and silently sniffle and Suho’s heart breaks.
“Oh my.” He mutters under his breath, his hands quickly reach your face, palms holding your face like you were some fragile porcelain. His thumbs wipe your tears tenderly.
“I’m sorry, Y/n-ssi.” And with that, he kisses your nose. “It won't… I'll try to make sure it does not happen again.” He kisses your forehead next. “So, now please,” He kisses your philtrum, “Please, stop crying. It breaks my heart to see you like this.”
He continues to kiss your face until you break into giggles.
──────── seo juntae
Juntae looks at you like a puppy kicked by a human, eyes downcast and filled with tears, feeling as though it was something that was his mistake. His eyes don't leave your hands.
You are fuming. Brows furrowed together, you are taking long breaths to calm yourself down. You angrily rip off a medicine’s covering and Juntae gulps.
You turn your face towards him and he looks at you and then, quickly looks away. He feels guilty.
You both are on a bench in a park near the pharmacy you just visited. Juntae got beat up by some bullies and you had dragged him to the pharmacy despite him saying it was okay.
Juntae wonders if you're mad at him. You're not. You know that.
You take off his glasses, gently putting them away. You start to dab away the dirt and blood from his face, your touches are feather light. He winces. He thinks it ticked you off because you stop and discard the cotton ball.
“I know… that it hurts you every time I get…hurt. I'm sorry.” He says, you look away. He's afraid he might lose you if this continues, he doesn't want that to happen ever. He holds your hands, clasping your fingers with his own.
“Please don't be mad at me.” It breaks something inside of you.
Your anger melts and turns into something else. It turns into the tears in your eyes, you hold them in. Your nose feels tingly and your mouth feels strangely wet. Your lips are pursed, you are taking in his words, letting them settle in your mind. They feel heavy. You take a deep breath as the tears threaten to fall. You face him again.
This time the look in your face is not of annoyance but of hurt, your brows are no longer furrowed together, your eyelashes are wet with tears that might fall any second. Juntae feels guilty.
“I am not mad at you.” You say and then it happens. The tears start to cascade down slowly. Juntae’s lips quiver. You take your hands back and wipe your tears.
“I don't know why you think I'm mad at you. I'm just… frustrated about this situation. I worry for you, Juntae-ya. Every few days you show up with these new wounds and bruises, I feel sad. I don't know what you're up to, but…” You stop as you don't know what to say.
Juntae feels as if his insides got ripped out and seared, his eyes start to water instantly at this sight. Just how could he be the reason of your tears?
His hand reaches out hesitant towards you, shaking a little and it finally finds your back. He starts to rub you with one hand and takes out a napkin with another. He uses it to wipe your tears.
“I…am sorry. Please don't cry.”
──────── go ‘gotak’ hyuntak
“Does it cost money to be careful?” You mumble under your breath but they're still loud enough to be heard by Hyuntak. You did it intentionally.
“What? Aren't I supposed to be the one nagging you?” He sounds offended. “And if it really did cost money, you’d be evading–” You respond with a smack on the top of his head before he can even finish.
“Beggars can't be choosers.” You confuse him.
“That's literally not how the saying works. Ah–” You're now pulling his right ear.
“Can you stop abusing me?” He grumbles.
“Can you stop abusing me?” You mock him snottily.
Gotak realises there's no point in arguing with you further so he doesn't say anything. Instead, he looks away as you work on patching him up. You put gauze around his arm and some bandaids over his knuckles. You soon start to clean his face and that's when he finally turns towards you.
A q-tip is between your thumb and index finger layered with some gel, you're gently applying it to the corner of Gotak’s lips. He suddenly becomes hyper-aware about everything and his skin prickles with goosebumps.
Gotak realises that your sole focus is on his lips and blood rushes to his face, his ears reddening with every passing second. This close proximity isn't something that's rare but it's something that's not frequent either. Your dynamic has always been like this—too shy to be close and too committed to be farther than an arm’s distance.
Gotak takes in your features. Your eyes are glassy but focused on his lips and your nose seems a little red. Your bottom lip is between your teeth to stop it from trembling. You look like you're on the verge of crying. Shit.
“So, um…” Gotak starts, his intention is to distract you so you don't end up actually crying.
You hum in response. You finish up taking care of his lip and put away the q-tip in a plastic bag. Gotak looks at you, unable to muster up his words. He should’ve thought before starting to speak!
“So, yeah.”
You look at him incredulously, eyebrows raised but eyes still glassy, tears still sticking to your lashes.
“What?” You say.
You hear Gotak mumble a small Fuck this before he pulls you into his arms. One of his hands snakes through your back to your head, holding it gently. Gotak starts to pat you slowly. He then kisses the crown of your head.
“I’ll be careful next time.”
“Yeah. You better be.”
──────── park 'baku' humin
Baku had showed up to your home bloodied and bruised with his stupid injuries and wounds. You had led him to your living room, your parents weren't home fortunately. You wouldn't have to explain why there was a badly beat up boy in your living space.
This brings you to your current predicament— crouched in front of Baku as he sat on the sofa, cleaning the dried blood clinging to his knuckles. You work in silence and Baku lets you. He doesn't speak and neither do you. You don't ask or question. He doesn't tell you what happened.
But the silence is oh so suffocating. There is a lump in your throat that won't go down now matter how much you swallow and tears are pricking the inner corners of your eyes. After you're done cleaning his hands you settle yourself on the sofa and start to clean his face.
Baku is strong, that is a fact. He never loses, that is another fact. But he is not invincible or immune to getting hurt. He bleeds and bruises just like everyone else. He feels pain too. That is evident in how he winces when you apply cream on his knuckles before you put on a bandaid. That is also evident in the way he hisses in pain when you dab the cut on his face with a cotton ball covered in disinfectant.
It is also evident in the way his heart aches when he notices your hands trembling and your eyes watering. You sniffle involuntarily. Baku wants to scratch his face. His eyes become glassy.
He calls out your name delicately as if it was a glass sculpture that could break if his voice was any louder.
And your tears spill. You bite your bottom lip to try and hold it in but there's no use.
Humin takes the cotton ball from your hand and places it on the center table. His hands wrap around your torso and he pulls you into his embrace. No words are exchanged. Sometimes, words aren't needed to communicate. Actions are enough.
With your head on his chest and his arms around you firmly, he pulls you under his chin. He lets you cry it out. You must be scared after seeing him hurt so badly.
He starts to run soothing circles on your back with his hand until you calm down.
“I’m sorry.” He says finally breaking the silence. “I won't get hurt this badly next time.”
“So you plan on getting hurt again?”
──────── geum seongje
You are everything Geum Seongje is not– quiet, kind and gentle. Maybe that's why you're both together. Opposites attract or something.
But Outside Geum Seongje is different from Inside Geum Seongje. Inside Geum Seongje is reserved just for you. His words don't bite and he kisses with his lips instead of his fists. His eyes don't carry that crazed look, but a look of comfort and relaxation. He's not the adrenaline crazy wolf but a person who seeks softness and love.
One might think Seongje is the antonym of words like love, gentleness, kindness, softness etc. but that would be false. Seongje loves in his own way. He is cruel, yes, but there is certain gentleness when he pulls you into hugs. Geum Seongje knows mercy too. He is not soft like others but his edges and sharpness dull a little every time he's with you.
Maybe that's why he always seeks for you when he's injured. You offer him a quiet haven in your heart for nothing in exchange. You don't judge him. You don't ask questions. You don't look at him with fear or inferiority.
That's why he always crashes at your apartment after a big fight. You patch him up and offer him a warm meal. You offer him warmth no one else ever does.
Seongje looks at you confused. Your eyes are red and flowing with tears as you clean his bloodied knuckles. He does not understand why you're crying. But you look pretty, he doesn't want to question anything.
“I won, you know.” He breaks the silence.
“Yeah, I know.” You say, holding in a sniffle.
“So why are you crying?”
“Because you're hurt?”
Bloodied knuckles, busted lip, a black eye and different reds blooming under his skin on his body.
“You lack a sense of self preservation.” Seongje doesn't reply, he just studies your features. There's something unreadable in his expression. He silently acknowledges what you said as true. He doesn't know what to do when you sniffle and when your tears don't stop.
When you're finally done patching him up, you get up. He holds your wrist.
“The vegetables will get charred.” You say referring to the veggies on the pan you left unattended to focus on Seongje.
“Stay.” The ‘Please’ is left unsaid.
──────── na baekjin
It isn't common for Baekjin to get into fights. And it is more uncommon for him to come back scathed– you see, Baekjin doesn't get his hands dirty. He rarely does so. And it's rarer for him to get hurt. His moves are always calculated and precise, there's no room for surprises or to get hurt for that matter.
So it is quite a moment when Baekjin enters his office with a gash along his cheek, walks towards his desk and crouches down to pull out a first aid box and puts it in front of you on the glass table, calmly. You look at him dumbly.
“Like am I…?” You start but then trail off, because obviously, he meant for you to patch him up.
“I don't see a mirror in here.” Whoa, Na Baekjin can be sarcastic if he wants.
“Then sit down, sir.” And with that Baekjin settles down next to you on the black leather couch of his modest office.
There's distance between you, you gesture with your hands for him to come closer and he follows. You break the distance between you both by pulling his face closer to yourself to inspect his cut and Baekjin notices how your face curls up in pain.
“You’re lucky it wasn't that deep. You’d have to get stitches on your pretty face.” Baekjin doesn't respond to your statement, but his gaze softens. A little smile forms on his face but it dissolves right away.
You start by wiping off the blood that trickled down towards his jaw and Baekjin closes his eyes—feeling your soft touches. One of your hands holding his face while the other wipes away the blood, there is a certain domesticity to this which he cherishes. Not that he would admit out loud. But it's evident in how his shoulders relax a little when you're nearby and how his fingers always try to find yours in the quiet moments when you're alone.
For a second, Baekjin wonders if it was not for the Union, would you two get to be normal? Act like those schoolmates who are dating— holding hands in the hallways, holding hands under the table in the cafeteria and sneaking off to the secluded corners of the school to make out.
He is pulled out of his thoughts when you say something, your voice sounds a little shaky and weak.
“I won't use the disinfectant, it’ll burn too much, so I'll use this cream… instead.”
He sees your eyes brimmed with tears, eyelashes heavy with tears weighing them down. His gaze softens.
“You are crying.” He says in a matter-of-fact tone.
“I am not! Atleast, not yet.”
“You worry for me too much.”
“You say it like it's a bad thing.” Your tears fall.
Ok, fair enough, Baekjin thinks. You're the only one who can get him tongue tied. If he can worry for you, then you can too.
He wipes the tears with the back of his hands, his touch is tender. You hold onto his hand, not letting him take it back, leaning into his touch.
“I love you.” You sniffle. His thumb rubs away another tear.
“I know. I love you too. I won't get hurt again.” He says. His voice doesn't have the edge he uses with others. A special voice just for you.
His gravity pulls you closer, heads tilting in unison, just a few centimetres apar–
A knock and the door opens.
“Am I interrupting something?” Geum Seongje. Motherfucker.
You groan.
Baekjin sighs.

Pairing: Go Hyuntak x fem!reader
Summary: Having known of Hyuntak from his training days of Tae Kwon Do, you never thought you'd run into him again. What started as admiration from afar quickly turned into the beginning of something more.
Word count: 1.7K
Warning: Slight trigger warning of SA if you squint, but other than that, none.
A/N: Wrote this for me. My first fanfic in years, and God, it felt good to write again. I'm happy with it.
Go Hyuntak was someone you've never imagined crossing paths with again. Attending different schools. Having different friend groups. Only ever catching glimpses of him from the window when you would walk past Hu-min's father's chicken restaurant across the street on the way home. Sometimes, it was hard not to notice the bruises and wounds he and his friends bore. You began to wonder if he's still as skilled in Tae Kwon Do as you remember. Of course he is. You shook your head. He was the best.
Rumor had it he hurt his knee and couldn't compete anymore. When you heard, you felt devastated. Someone as talented and hardworking as him, only for his dream to be taken away. It wasn't fair. You could only imagine how he felt. Did he suffer through the pain alone? Does he still think about what could have been? To be the best Tae Kwon Do athlete and have it all?
You'll never know. But from where you stood, the injury doesn't stop him from fighting. From protecting his friends. The five young men laughed at a joke Baku made and then dug in at the feast placed before them. Hyuntak's smile still dazzled you, even from a distance. As you start to worry whether he is taking care of his injuries properly, you hear your name being called.
"y/n!"
You turned and quickly rejoined your friends who had walked further ahead.
"Staring at Gotak again?" One of them teased, using his well-known nickname. Your face instantly blushed, and you looked away, unable to deny it.
"Hey, leave her alone. I think it's cute," your best friend piped up, putting an arm over your shoulder. "There's nothing wrong with a little yearning every now and then."
That made you laugh, "Shut up." You both giggled and continued going about your way.
After you said goodbye to your friends, you decided to stop by a convenience store before finishing your walk home. You were thirsty and wanted your favorite cold drink: a strawberry and banana smoothie. It was probably the best part of your routine. You grabbed your favorite bread to go along with it and headed for the register.
You thanked the cashier and just stabbed your straw into the drink when a rowdy group of boys walked in. They were a noisy bunch, and their uniforms told you they also attended Eunjang High, the same school as Hyuntak and his friends. Your eyes scanned the store, looking for a way to exit without having to go through them. Luckily, the aisle that was next over was free, and you kept your head down, making your way to the door. Due to your short stature, you didn't have to crouch much, being 5'2 and all.
You stand straight and head for the door, pushing it open when you feel someone pull you back from the strap of your backpack, hard. Somehow, you were able to maintain your balance and look up at the face who deprived you of your freedom. Hair dyed blonde and a scar across his left eye. He sneered.
"What do we have here?" His friends behind him snicker as he pressed forward, making you bump against some of the merchandise.
"Is that for me?" The blonde placed his hands over his heart as he feigned gratitude, noticing your drink and pastry. As he stepped closer, you looked away and felt him take your bag with the bread. He threw it on the ground and stomped on it, smearing the delicious treat on the floor with his foot.
Closing your eyes, you took a deep, shaky breath. Never imagining yourself in this position before, you decided not to go down without a fight, no matter what their intentions were. You held your breath as he took one more step closer, and that's when you jammed your right knee against his crotch with all the strength you could muster. It was enough to distract him for a moment, and you ran out, throwing your drink at him, focusing only on getting out of there.
As you heard him and his group start to run after you, you heard a voice. Not just anyone's voice. His voice.
"Hey!"
You stopped in your tracks and turned back around. Being a good distance away, you noticed Hyuntak and his friends a few feet apart from the entrance of the convenience store where the blonde and his group were also stopped in confusion. The blonde looked pissed, whether from being hit in the nuts or stopped from chasing after you, you couldn't be sure.
"This has nothing to do with you!" He screamed in rage.
All the while, Hyuntak remained calm. His eyes scanned the area, first seeming to count how many of the goons there were, and then to the blonde covered in your drink. Hands in the pockets of his pants, he glanced over at you, and you both locked eyes. Your heavy breathing from the adrenaline and run began to slow down, and you felt a sense of peace take over you.
He turned back to the blonde. "It does now."
The next word was said at the same time. You in your head and the blonde aloud, "What?"
Before you had time to think it over, Hyuntak's fist connected with the blonde's face, knocking him to the ground. You gasped, stuck in freeze or flight mode. The decision was made for you when one of the goons charged after you. The last thing you saw before running away was three of Hyuntak's friends joining in on the fight, including Baku.
You ran as fast as you could, not daring to look back. You knew the area pretty well and figured you would be able to hide somewhere once the coast was clear when you felt a pair of hands slam you against a wall. Your face and body were pushed into it, holding you in place.
"We weren't done with you yet." Said an unfamiliar voice, his hot breath fanned against your ear, and you struggled to get away.
Before you could scream for help, someone threw the boy off of you. You turned around, back towards the wall, as you watched Hyuntak beat the guy to a pulp. With his back towards you, you badly wanted to tell him to stop, but you couldn't find your voice. It wasn't until Baku walked up to him, putting a hand on his shoulder, and said, "Enough, Gotak."
Hyuntak stopped fist midair and let go of the boy, his limp body making a thud as he hit the ground. He was breathing heavily, and yet there didn't seem to be a scratch on him. Baku looked untouched as well. As if he read your mind, he turned to you and smiled.
"Are you alright?"
You nodded, still a bit in shock and unsure of how to thank them. Hyuntak took a breath and finally turned to face you. His eyes looked into yours again, and this time, you felt your heart start to race for a different reason.
"I need to hear you say it," his voice was soft, yet stern, "Are you okay? Are you hurt?"
"I'm okay." You managed to get out.
His eyes softened, and he looked at Baku. With a nod of his head, he turned and walked back from the way we came. Hyuntak looked at you and simply said, "Let's go."
The walk back to his friends was silent. You tried to fix your school uniform and composure as discreetly as possible. With no idea of how your hair looked, you figured it was what it was. You peeked at Hyuntak, and he looked lost in thought. Up ahead, two of his friends were waiting, and it appeared that the blonde and his goons had run off. You wondered where his other friend went. The one with the glasses.
"Nice job, Sieun! Suho!" Baku threw his arms over their shoulders with a wide smile. "Where's Juntae?
As if on cue, the one named Juntae comes out of the convenience store with what looked like your drink and a pastry bag. He smiled shyly and handed you the items. "We hope you're alright. I wasn't sure of the pastry, so I just got one I recommend."
The day's toll hit you instantly, and tears welled up in your eyes. You quickly wiped them and looked at the five boys who rescued you. "Thank you. Thank you so much."
The boys all smiled, apart from Hyuntak. He cleared his throat, adjusted his blue hoodie, and faced his friends, "I'll walk her home. See you guys later."
They waved goodbye to you, and you waved back with a smile. You then noticed Hyuntak staring at you with curiosity. You blushed and turned to the general area of your home. "It's this way."
Even though the distance was short, they say time lasts longer being with someone you like. The sun was beginning to set, and the breeze felt nice against your skin. It was a comfortable silence until you heard Hyuntak say, "Drink."
You stopped walking and looked up at him confused, "What?"
He sighed, "You must be dehydrated. Drink." He gestured to the strawberry banana smoothie.
Oh. You hadn't even realized how thirsty you were until he mentioned it. Your lips covered the straw, and you drank. The cold drink felt good traveling down your throat. You eagerly drank some more, and that's when you heard Hyuntak chuckle. You watched his smile, and up close, it's the most beautiful thing you've ever seen. You blinked and took in your surroundings, and saw that your home was just a few houses down.
"I'm fine here. Thank you for walking me home. And thank you for helping me today."
"You can thank me by letting me walk you home for a while." He said.
Shaking your head, you began to protest. "There's really no need. You don't-"
With what looked like slow motion, Hyuntak leaned over. He maintained eye contact until his lips touched the straw of your drink. You held still, letting him finish it and at the same time not believing this was happening. When he stood up, he smiled at your reaction. You couldn't tell if it was his smile that blinded you or the sun setting behind him.
He walked past you and said over his shoulder, "See you tomorrow, y/n."
A/N: may or may not continue this. Gif is made by me. Feedback is appreciated :)
Sieun is extremely prioritized, his studies are everything. He didn’t ask for friends, but now that he has them, he clearly will do anything to protect them, even when he tries to separate himself and be alone again — It never works out. So someone like him developing a crush would make that person a very special person if they catch his eye. He’d observe quietly, admiring them. He’d do subtle things like help them with class work when he notices them struggling. Whether he makes a move or not would be somewhat difficult to know for sure. But his approach would be slow and steady either way, taking small points out of the day to interact with them.
As an extremely protective, confident, and masculine guy, Suho would be the exact same with a crush. He’s tough, but he’s truly a big softie. When it comes to a crush, he’ll roll out the red carpet for them, holding the door open, making them laugh, complimenting them. Suho is the type that will approach a person he’s interested in with confidence that can’t help but win them over. He just oozes charisma that can’t be touched.
When Beomseok has a crush, he acts distant and somewhat uninterested because he doesn’t know how to navigate his emotions. When interacting with his person of interest, he’d be fidgety and awkward. Beomseok would put them on a pedestal, making it even harder for him to see that they’re just human as well and to shoot his shot. He’d get caught staring at them with adoration and immediately look away in fear of rejection. The chances of him confessing how he feels are slim to none. He’d most likely just remain in his head about it.
Humin is a lot like Suho, but slightly goofier. He’ll do his best to make his crush laugh, knowing that his humor and positive energy is what helps win someone over. He’s not a pretty boy, he’s a tough, manly guy that happens to be a big, cuddly teddy bear. When coming up to his crush, he’ll crack a joke, compliment their outfit, and tell them how beautiful their smile is. Humin’s boldness will definitely win them over.
Juntae is very meek and timid, but when he has a crush he follows them around like a lost puppy. He does cute things like write them love notes and bring them their favorite snacks. When they’re down, he always encourages them, even when he doesn’t know the right words to say. He always knows how to bring light into a dark situation. His bright attitude and adorableness will make anyone fold.
Gotak is relatively laid back and nonchalant when he has a crush on someone. Not in an uninterested way, but in a way that shows he’ll be fine whether his crush likes him back or not. He’s not scared of rejection. Every so often, he’ll show off some of his taekwondo moves to impress them, even going as far as to teach them a few moves. He’s playful and relaxed with his crush. They’d love that he’s a breath of fresh air that isn’t easily intimidated.
A/N: I’m not gonna lie, I’m lowkey biased. Sieun is my favorite character out of them. And I had some struggles with Beomseok 😩😩 his character pisses me off so bad, but I know some people would still appreciate his appearance every now and again — despite my seething resentment ಠ_ಠ
~ Also I’ll be opening my requests up next week I’m excited to see what ideas you guys have for me.

Jealous!Chishiya x Reader | enemies in love :) | slow-burn tension
The beach was loud tonight—bonfires flickering, music echoing across stone walls, voices bouncing off tile and tension. From the second-floor balcony, half-shadowed by a column, Chishiya stood still—detached, as always. Except tonight, his eyes weren’t wandering the crowd like usual.
They were locked on you.
You were standing near the bar, posture loose, laughter easy. You looked soft in the glow of the firelight—softer than you ever were with him, and he hated that he noticed. Chishiya couldn’t hear the conversation—didn’t need to. You laughed, the kind of genuine laugh he didn’t see often, and tilted your head in a way he recognized. That glint in your eye, the one you always used right before a sharp-tongued resort—gone. Replaced with softness. The source?
Last boss.
Of all people
Chishiya’s jaw tensed, the corner of his mouth twitching—just enough to betray him. He wasn’t even sure why it annoyed him. It just did.
He watched you nudge Last Boss playfully in the arm—touched him—and that was it. He turned away, pacing a step like the movement might shake it off. But it didn’t. You never smiled liked that when you talked to him. With him, you were all eye rolls, sarcasm, smug jabs, and “go away, Chishiya.”
So why the hell did it bother him?
Maybe it was the way you looked so uncomplicated down there, laughing like the world wasn’t crumbling. Maybe it was the fact that you hadn’t even noticed him watching. Or maybe it was because somewhere deep in his chest, there was a flicker of something he didn’t want to name.
He glanced over his shoulder again, watching you from afar, and quietly muttered to himself.
“Tch. Idiot.”
But this time, he wasn’t talking about you.
“i'm like... 99% sure that you're not the killer.”

Okay here me out so reader is friends with all of beta squad and Niko and chunks figures out she had a fat crush on Sharky and they start playing matchmaker for her
When Niko and Chunkz discovers your crush on Sharky, they take it upon themselves to play matchmaker with chaotic, meddling schemes that somehow actually work.
Masterlist.
You've never been great at keeping secrets. At least not when Niko and Chunkz are involved. The two schmucks got this way of reading you like an open book and it doesn't help that they're nosy as hell.
It all starts at one of the usual Beta Squad hangouts, everyone sprawled out in the mansion's living room, arguing over which takeaway to order. You're half-paying attention, mostly watching Sharky from the corner of your eye as he bickers with Kenny over the merits of chicken wings versus pizza.
You don't even notice that your eyes have been lingering a little too long until Niko's stupidly loud laugh startles you.
"Oi! You tryna undress him with your eyes, or what?" Niko called out with a smug grin, mostly joking at first to get a reaction.
You felt your face flames up instantly.
"What the hell are you talking about?" You shot back, trying to play it off but it's too late because you saw Chunkz is grinning like the cat that got the cream.
"Ohhhh, I see what's going on" Chunkz as he hummed, nudging Niko with his elbow.
"Someone's got a little crush on Sharky, huh?" Chunkz added with a smug grin.
"I do not!" You said, too defensively and already feeling the need to disappear into the couch.
"Yeah, right. You've been eyeing him like he's the last glass of water in the desert. Just admit it" Niko said as he gave you a look so skeptical it almost hurts.
"You know what this means, right?" Chunkz said while he leans in, voice dropping conspiratorially.
"What?" You said as you squint at him suspiciously.
"Matchmaking duties. Don't worry, we've got you" Chunkz said while he grins, all too pleased with himself.
"Please don't do anything weird--" You said, already feeling your stomach flips.
"It's already too late" Niko cuts in, and you swear you can see gears turning in his head.
"By next week, Sharky's gonna be confessing his undying love for you" Niko teased.
"You guys are ridiculous" You said as you rolled your eyes, even as your heart races.
"Ridiculously good at this. Trust me" Chunkz said as he gave you a wink.
And from that moment on, your peaceful existence is absolutely ruined. Niko and Chunkz take it upon themselves to set up every possible scenario with multiple trials to get you and Sharky alone together.
Trial number one: The "Accidental" Partner Switch
The Beta Squad decided to film another dumb challenge, some sort of cooking competition that requires partners. It's random as always, but somehow you end up paired with Sharky.
"Wait, I swear I was with Kenny a second ago" Sharky says, glancing around.
"Yeah, but then Kenny said he's got some, uh, chicken-related trauma---can't be around raw meat or something. So you and Y/N, congrats!" Niko said as he smirked, waving his hand dismissively.
"Chicken-related trauma?" You said with a confused blink.
"Very tragic. Anyway, you two have fun. Remember, cooperation is key. And, you know, flirting while you cook is always a plus" Chunkz said, backing Niko's ridiculous waffle while he nods solemnly.
"Why are you always chatting nonsense?" You said but Sharky just laughed.
"Am I?" Chunkz said while he grins before turning to fiddle with the camera but his wink in your direction doesn't go unnoticed.
Trial number two: The Party Push
It's another one of the chaotic house parties. You're about to make a beeline for the snacks when Chunkz pulls you aside.
"Yo, Sharky's been looking for you" Chunkz said randomly, as if he was talking about the weather.
"Why?" You said as your eyes widen, already getting weird sensations in your stomach.
"I dunno. Maybe he wants to ask you to dance? Better find him quick, innit?" He shrugs, but there's a glint in his eyes that promised chaos.
Before you can respond, Chunkz is already steering you toward the living room where Sharky's chatting with some randoms.
"Bruv, you're slacking. Y/N's right here, waiting for you" Niko said as he nudges Sharky hard enough to make him stumble a little.
"Uh, hey. You wanna... wanna dance or something?" Sharky said as his eyes widen for a moment before keeping composure and he scratches the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Sure, why not?" You said, with a real genuine smile.
Despite the feeling of being able to murder Chunkz along with Niko, but that awkwardly hopeful look on Sharky's face makes you nod.
Trial number three: The "Trapped in a Room" Trick
"Can you grab the snacks from the guest room? Thanks!" Niko calls out.
You've barely taken two steps into the room before you hear the door shut behind you.
Turning around, you find Sharky on the other side of the door, looking just as confused.
"Uh... you looking for snacks too?" Sharky said while awkwardly standing there with not a single coherent thought in his mind.
"Niko told me to come in here for them" You said as you raised an eyebrow.
"Same... and now the door's locked" Sharky said then letting out a sigh once the sound of the door locking echoes.
Your phone buzzes, and you glance down at the text from Niko.
"You're both locked in until you sort out your weird tension. You're welcome"
"I'm going to kill him" You said with a groan.
"He's such a prick. But since we're stuck... might as well keep me entertained, yeah?" Sharky said as he just chuckled, leaning against the wall.
His smile is charming enough to make you forget your irritation for a moment.
Trial number four: The Coffee Shop Conspiracy
You're running late to meet the boys at a cafe. When you arrive, it's just Sharky sitting there with an empty seat across from him.
"Where's everyone else?" you asked, sliding into the seat.
"Oh, they said they were on their way. You want something to drink?" Sharky said.
You nod, and Sharky goes up to order for you and that's when your phone pings. A notification from Chunkz.
"Slight change of plans. It's just you and Sharky today. Call it a date. Have fun! ;)"
Your eyes narrow at the screen but before you can even think about texting them a scathing reply, Sharky's back with your drink and that ridiculously endearing smile.
"Hope I got it right," Sharky said, passing the drink to you.
He did.
Because of course he remembers.
"Yeah, you did" you said softly, cheeks warm.
Trial number five: The Successful Set Up
You're not sure how, but somehow you ended up on a little day out with Sharky. Just the two of you.
It started with Niko messaging you, insisting that you had to check out the new rooftop arcade he found because "It's got your name written all over it" And then, of course, Chunkz somehow got Sharky to tag along with a suspiciously similar message.
It's all so obvious you can barely roll your eyes anymore but you're here and it's fun. More than fun, really. The games are great, the view is incredible and Sharky's competitive streak is so entertaining that you almost forget how hard you're crushing on him. Almost.
At some point, the two of you find yourselves sharing a booth at a small diner nearby, drinks in hand, and laughing about how badly Sharky's aim sucks at the basketball arcade game.
"I swear, those hoops were rigged" Sharky insists with a grin.
"Yeah, yeah, keep telling yourself that" You teased.
"I've seen you trip over your own feet, so I don't think hand-eye coordination's your strong suit either" You added.
Sharky narrows his eyes at you, but it's playful, his smile never really fading.
"Okay, that's fair. Maybe I'm just more of a thinker than a doer" Sharky said.
"Oh, sure. You just think really hard about missing shots" You said.
"You know, this was... nice. Just us" Sharky said with a laugh, leaning back in the booth, and for a second, his gaze lingers on you.
The admission feels like a confession and you can't help but swallow nervously.
"Yeah. It was" You said, feeling the tension rising between you two
His fingers drum against the table before he speaks again, eyes dropping to his drink like he's shy all of a sudden.
"Would you... want to do this again? Like, just us?" Sharky said, looking at you with the same hopeful expression in his eyes that you can't seem to say no to.
Is he...?
No, he's definitely asking you out.
"I'd like that" You said, barely keeping your voice steady.
And his smile could probably light up the whole damn city.
The next time you're all hanging out, you try to keep things casual. Not that it matters because the second you step into the room with Sharky, you know Niko and Chunkz can smell the change.
You barely sit down before Niko's making obnoxious smooching noises and nudging Chunkz with his elbow.
"Look at them! They're practically glowing. I told you our genius plan would work!" Niko said, vibrating with energy.
"Of course it worked. Who do you think you're talking to? Matchmaking extraordinaire, fam" Chunkz said as he leaned back with the most self-satisfied grin on his face.
"More like 'meddling pricks'" Sharky grumbles, but there's no heat to his words. In fact, he's smiling, too, even when he's pretending to be annoyed.
"You two are the most obvious schemers I've ever seen" You said as you shoved Niko's shoulder, groaning.
"Obvious but effective" Chunkz counters smoothly.
"And judging by the fact you two walked in looking all cozy, I'd say you should be thanking us" Chunkz added.
You exchange a glance with Sharky, and his eyes are twinkling with amusement.
"You know what? Fine. You two get credit" You said.
"YES! That's all I needed. Now, invite me to the wedding, yeah?" Niko said teasingly with a laugh.
"Okay, slow down, you're still on thin ice" You said with a laugh.
"You say that but you're the one who actually let our schemes work. You're welcome, by the way" Chunkz said as he shrugs.
Maybe they are obnoxious and nosy and absolutely terrible at subtlety but they're also your friends and maybe, just maybe, they were right this time.

Where did it all go wrong.
That was the question that kept you up at night and haunted you during the day. It was strange how, no matter how hard you tried to please people, they still found a reason or way to stab you in the back. Finnick was one of the many people, who obeyed the capitols every wish. The main reason being to save his loved ones. And even that wasn’t enough.
No, because the people wanted entertainment, they wanted something more. They wanted to be astonished, blown away.
You knew that by now. Because why else would president Snow make the decision to reap from the existing pool of victors. Because why else would the love of your life, the person you called your home be reaped again. It was all to satisfy the capitol and make them feel even more powerful than they already are.
The moment the woman from the capitol fished a small piece of paper out of the bowl with the reaped one’s name on it, you knew it would be Finnick. When she said the first letter, your prediction was confirmed. And without even hearing the entire name, you broke out into tears.
You watched as your boyfriend tried to be nonchalant about it, smiling through the pain like he always did. But when they zoomed in on his face, you were crying uncontrollably. It didn’t help that you weren’t allowed to come with him either.
However, until the day he left the district you both lived in, you never left his side. Even if it weren’t allowed, even if it meant being threatened by the peacekeeper. Frankly, you couldn’t care less, because all you could care about was your Finnick. The one who was about to relive the torture he did when he was fourteen all over again.
All you could do now was watch him through a screen, something about it bringing some sort of comfort. Because you could see him.
The day of the ceremony was a tough one.
You could tell from everything you saw of him, that the stress and anxiety had gotten to him.
And you were right. He couldn’t function properly without you by his side. Finnick felt as if all the life was sucked out of him and that he would never feel alive again. Nonetheless, he smiled like he was enjoying fighting for his death again. He had to put on a show or else his chances of survival would decrease.
The way the crowd cheered when he was standing next to Caesar flew over his head. Because his thoughts were absolutely consumed by you. Flickerman talked to him, but he didn’t process a single word he was saying. “I heard from a little bird that you have message for somebody. A special somebody.” Caesar said, emphasising the special as he looked at the audience with a smug look.
Finnick’s smile turned more genuine when Flickerman mentioned the special somebody, which was you. The thought of hopefully seeing you again was the only thing keeping him from going insane. So with you in his mind, he started talking in the microphone. “My love,” The crowded room screamed hysterically, but he talked over it, his lips quivering, “You have my heart. For all eternity.”
The image of you sitting on the couch popped into his head and he wished desperately that he was with you right now. “And if…” He continued, but he had a hard time finding the right words. Flickerman nodded at him encouragingly, wondering where this was leading. “If I die in that arena… my last thought will be of your lips.” Your boyfriend tried his best to hold his composure and appear calm and confident, but inside he was breaking down.
After that, the games went by in a blur. The only thing you could vividly remember during the hard times, was the dream you had about Finnick. A dream that you would cherish forever, because it gave you hope of him surviving.
Soon enough, before you knew it, the capitol had taken you because of what happened during the quarter quell. You were watching the games, hoping that the plan your lover and his allies had made would go well. And remember Katniss shooting a bow at the middle of the dome. Before you knew it, the peacekeepers were infiltrating your house. They took you with them, but you can’t recall exactly how and what happened then.
When being held captive by the capitol, Finnick was the only thing you thought about. You weren’t aware if he was alright or not and it scared you more than anything. You snapped out of your thoughts when there was a knock on your door. President Snow himself walked in, accompanied by a woman you had seen by his side a lot recently. It took everything in your power not to jump at and attack him, so you did in your imagination. You imagined strangling him as he talked to you, however, you didn’t care one bit about what he was saying.
But as soon as your lover’s name was mentioned, your ears perked up. “We will find him, dear. And when he sees you, it won’t be long before he will leave district thirteen.”
Some kind of joy bloomed inside your chest, because even though his statement scared you, you were relieved that your Finnick was alive and well.
Finnick didn’t know anything about your state, but he blamed himself for everything that happened to you. He shut himself in his room all day, thinking about you, wishing he was with you, thinking about how things would be like in an alternative universe. He wasn’t aware of his surroundings anymore, being absolutely consumed by and in his thoughts.
Your name was the only word that left his mouth.
One day, Finnick heard about the plans to save you, Johanna and Peeta. And from that day on, he was more involved in everything that happened. Because all he wanted was for you to be with him again and he would do everything it took to get
you back to him. The day of executing the plan finally came and it went by swiftly, however for Finnick, it felt as if a million years passed by. Everything felt out of place without you.
After his interview, which was meant to distract both president Snow and the capitol, he rushed to Katniss. He interrogated her about if it had worked, but even she was unsure if it was a success.
Finnick waited for hours, pacing through his room anxiously. The only thing running through his mind being you, like always. He started to realise how just the thought of you had brought him so far. Because without you, he wouldn’t have cared if he passed away in that arena. Without you, he wouldn’t do his best to keep himself alive and to openly talk about what Snow did to him. Because for you, he would do anything. Anything you wanted him to do.
When he heard yelling coming from down the hall, his eyes widened. Was it possible that they were back with you guys already? Finnick didn’t waste any time and before he knew it, he was standing next to Katniss, waiting for Coin to tell them what was going on. But when he saw Johanna lying on a hospital bed, he knew enough.
You were somewhere here too.
He greeted Johanna, thankful that she was saved as well, before looking around to find you. Finnick asked every person he ran into, anyone that might know where you were. But everyone was so busy with everything they were doing, that they didn’t respond to him.
At this point, Finnick entered any room there was, in hopes to find you after the long separation. He searched every room, investigated every hall, but there was no sign of you.
Your lover was frantically looking around, when you awoke. And even though you were unaware about where you were, the only thing that mattered was that Finnick was right there. You wanted to call out his name, but there was no sound coming out of your mouth.
But you didn’t need words, because your boyfriend could feel your presence. When your gazes locked, Finnick didn’t waste a second when making his way over to you. He pushed away everyone that crossed his path, and pushed the doctors surrounding you aside.
Finnick halted right next to you, tears swelling up in both your and his eyes. He picked you up, not caring about the man that told him not to. He wrapped his arms around you so strongly, you were sure you would never get out of his grip.
Many tears left your eyes as you were finally in the arms of your home.
Finnick pulled away after a long time and took a good look at you, before pressing his lips against yours like a starved man. Hungry for you and your touch, he kissed you like you were all alone, with no one around. The only reason the two of you pulled away, was the lack of oxygen, and when you did you flashed him a smile.
“I finally kissed the lips that were on my mind the entire time.” Finnick whispered, his arms still wrapped around you. With a chuckle you planted another kiss on his lips, before pulling him in again for another hug. Being with your lover restored all the hope and will to live again.
And with him you were sure, that this pain wouldn’t be for evermore.
