James and Regulus hyphenated their surnames.

They wanted to break the cycle. They wanted to prove that having the name Black did not inherently make you evil. Regulus never truly believed he had escaped the burden his name brought until James added their names together. If James can be a Black, then the name can’t be so bad anymore.

And all their little children got Black-Potter as well.

I wish people rembered that having an eating disorder doesn't automatically mean bulimia or anorexia. I wish people rembered the other side of the spectrum: compulse and/or binge eating that includes systematic overeating. I wish people didn't fatshame people, especially sick people. It's not laziness. It's not the lack of motivation. It's an actual disorder.

But, even if it was laziness, or people just like to eat and gain weight, it doesn't affect you. You have no right to shame or laugh at fat people. It's not your body and it's not your business.

Unless you're asked for a opinion/advance, shut the fuck up. It's not about you.

Sirius Black is left handed

Remus first learns this when they are sitting with their hands interlocked doing work and Sirius just casually writes his essay with his left hand because his right is holding Remus’

And Remus is shocked because how has he never noticed??

And he’s not writing in his perfect Black cursive, his handwriting with his left hand is a lot messier, a lot more ‘him’

But the next day he is taking notes in class with his right hand and the perfect handwriting is back and Remus is so confused

So he finally asks Sirius about it and he tells him about how he was born a leftie

But his parents couldn’t have a defected heir, so they forced him to learn with his right hand

So now he can write pretty well with both but just defaults to the right because that’s what he’s always done

And Remus just decides at every opportunity to sit on Sirius’ right and hold his hand so he has to write with his left

Because it’s so beautiful and true and him
