I think I know why 15's relationship with Belinda tickles me so much. They remind me of 6 and Peri. 15 is manic and toxic and borderline abusive to Bel just like 6 was to Peri. 6 couldn't quite get his charm to work either, his companion still hated his guts but was stuck following him out of fear of abandonment on some alien planet.

They both are desperately dragging along a human that would rather be somewhere else, but doesn't get that choice. Purely because the Doctor is selfish and wants the company and attention.

The most unhinged part of the doctor is that whatever age he regenerates into (body wise human age wise anyways you all get it) he always starts out at 0 mentally according to the social norms that we have for that age. Anyways. This is too complicated lol.

the second doctor's relationship with ben and polly is really funny because in his early days they're like wtf? who is this violent and unreliable cryptic who has replaced our Beloved Old Man??? because they've never met the first doctor in his early days and have no idea that he, too, was a violent, unhinged, unhelpful old man

How did we go from wait maybe this is going somewhere nice to this chaos ??

I didn't mind that some of the "romantic" scenes felt a bit forced, not all of them just some of them.

But then I expected I don't know, that she would find out about Meryem sooner in the episode, maybe the episode would end with something concrete that pushes them together. A hug, a hand holding, a word, something that will be concrete that they have a chance.

How did we go from that to her pushing away from him and rightfully so ?

the fact that 15 only suggests the church on ruby road, the devil’s chord, and boom to the whovians as stories that should be their favourite instead of blink hilariously implies that each incarnation of the doctor would only consider their greatest adventure to be one that’s occurred within their current incarnation, which i love so much 😭
