Happy early Valentines day, have something completely out of my wheelhouse! I wasn't joking in my previous comic, Stobotnik has me in a stranglehold (though as a heads up to anyone who doesn't follow me: I don't expect I'll be making more, I'm sorry 😔This is definitely a one-off)

Going through some old art of mine got me missing doing stylized, cartoony stuff so I thought this would be a good opportunity to push myself to bring some of that back into my life. Unfortunately the universe had it out for this thing and tried to stop me with pneumonia (it failed HAH) and every time I got closer to finishing it, I got struck with a new, more hellish stage of illness. I had 2 other panels I wanted to do for this and just had to tap out early😭

So like the other day I had this thought (as one does) about the aftermath of S3 and Robotniks almost like... destroying the world right? And I was like... GUN would definitely try to investigate. And Stone was one of them and fully just turncoated because he loved this crazy old man... they would definitely try to get him.

But Stone would never snitch on his man so they make him pay. For the betrayal for holding Robotniks secrets even though hes dead now..

BUT HES NOT DEAD. He comes back and searches for Stone... finds a different stone and then uses it to find HIS Stone but finds him in pretty bad shape and decides to stop goofing for once.

(The idea for him rescuing Stone was Rob manipulating Sonic & gang by pretending like everything is cool but hes cashing in his good deed of saving the world to get Stone back. And has Sonic & Tails + some disguised Botniks cause a scene/distraction so GUN is focused on them... but seeing Stone in rough shape makes Rob loose any of the playfulness he usually has and decides to fuck everyone up.)

But I was also like ''Youre in too deep bitch... get a grip this is a Sonic movie....''

So like... My idea was Stone just goes back working at the coffee shop in Green Hills like nothing happened but hes in stray cat mode and Wade decides to take it upon himself to try and befriend him... cuz while everyone else is cool to just let Stone work there cuz he makes really good coffee no one has actually forgot he was Robotniks henchman so they dont really fuck with him like that.

Wade is too dumb-dog coded to take any hints at all.

Soulmate AU The kind with the names on the wrist!

Robotnik had been soulmate-less for a couple decades before it finally showed up on his wrist but at that point he was over it. Hes already jaded with the idea of love and longing for family.

Meanwhile Stone was brought to an orphanage where they had his name surgically removed from his wrist when he was very young. He doesnt remember the name that was there.

When they meet, Robotnik smacks Stones hand and feels the connection between them but is confused as to why the name is different and thinks Stone is some type of plant for GUN to manipulate him or something...

But he also kinda likes the feeling he gets when he touches Stone and gets a little addicted to it... sort of like he enjoys the jolt of the quill. For Stone he just knows being around Robotnik makes him happy no matter how much Robotnik smacks him around.

Since Stone is always wearing suits, Robotnik never saw Stones wrist until Stone put up his sleeves while helping Rob recover from his injuries. When he asks about it he also learns a little about why he himself never had someone adopt him (he didnt have a soul mark until he was in his like 20s) and also he suspects that maybe Stones name isnt actually his real name.

Blah blah shenanigans s3, explosion, Rob is miraculously alive still... w/e. When hes finally back on earth and he knows how he feels about Stone he decides to go out of his way to learn who Stone is and find out about his family to finally learns Stones real name to confirm hes THE ONE. (+finding out Stones parents died in a crash (or w/e) and Stone as an infant miraculously survived! So he definitely WASNT abandoned.(Had he been abandoned Rob woulda dealt with them))

Rob has great news to share with his very pessimistic, way-too-understanding-as-long-as-Ivo-is-Happy-its-ok Soul Mate.

And thats all I got..

Anyways I couldnt think of a name for Stone... You can suggest them if youd like.. Im not continuing this tho, I just thought it was a fun idea.

I was reluctant to change Stones eyes because his big brown eyes are his charm point(for me)... HOWEVER I gave him red eyes to match Ivos other 'tools' but also gave Ivo purple shades à la Xibalba/La Muerte from TBoL... 'They only have eyes for each other.'

Also I know Elves arent supposed to be able to grow facial hair but thats dumb. Tieflings werent supposed to be technicolor either but here we are... if we all elect to ignore it elves can have facial hair.

Steampunk Stobotnik Emperor/Guard Au!!!

(credits to @kerbubbles and @starburstsobsessions for bouncing ideas around with me in the stob server!!!)

Concept:

Ivo Robotnik, not having been born into royalty and seemingly appearing out of nowhere with no records or found knowledge of his existence, becomes emperor just with his high IQ and steampunk inventions. Guard Stone, who was serving the previous ruler, upon meeting Ivo Robotnik and witnessing what his inventions can do, immediately becomes enamoured and switches up/potentially assists Ivo in his takeover.

First meeting:

Guard Stone is present when Ivo is showing off his creations to the current Emperor maybe(?) and whilst the Emperor sees Robotnik’s inventions as a potential threat, Stone is just stood there in awe at what he’s seeing in front of him. However, the Emperor rejects Robotnik’s offer to “partner” up or something which Ivo very clearly gets annoyed and potentially aggressive over so Stone, breaking out of trance, thinks quickly on his feet and snaps into action, offering to escort Robotnik off the premises but actually just wanting to get a chance to talk to him on his own. Whilst Stone is doing so he starts up a conversation with Ivo, about how brilliant his creations are and how wrong the Emperor is for rejecting them, to which Ivo is at first cautious about what this random guard (in his eyes) intentions are, but as the conversation goes on he himself becomes slightly intrigued in the potential of having this Guard on his side is and a direct line to the throne/Emperor.

Extras:

They have secret meetings to scheme, which includes Stone relaying information to Robotnik about events the Emperor will be partaking in, business meetings, socials etc, and him coming up with plans to bring the Emperor’s reputation down, whilst boosting his own reputation in the process.

In the kingdom, between the other guards, there is a rumour going around that Guard Stone has “found himself a lover” because of the occasional sightings of him seen walking around the palace/kingdom at very early or very late hours.

After some time goes by, Stone sneakily starts suggesting places to meet-up that can be considered romantic, but whilst Ivo’s IQ is incredible, he is too busy coming up with their next scheme to notice.

I, PeriPerson, shuffle onto the stage and awkwardly tap the mic. The crowd recoils as it rings for a moment. I clear my throat.

“It’s my three year anniversary of posting on ao3,” I say. I am met with silence.

“Didn’t you only post five fics last year?” someone asks from the audience.

I desperately try to change the subject by going into a heartfelt speech about how much JRWI means to me and how Riptide changed me, both as a writer and as a person. The crowd doesn’t take the bait. They’re getting restless. They demand to know why I barely write anymore.

“I graduated high school and started college this year,” I plead. “It’s been a busy time fore me.”

This does not satiate them either. They’re getting closer to the stage now; it’s the make or break moment.

“You wanna see Chip and Gillion making out?”

Silence once again falls over the room. Then, deafening cheering. I bow as roses are tossed on stage. The crowd picks me up and carries through the streets on a throne. I realize the streets are actually a tumblr blog. I have a tumblr account now.

This story is insanely good. I’ve been beta reading this thing since early in it’s conception, and here we are, not even a year later, and the first season is complete.

The story is composed of a lovely mix of fantasy themes, acts of heroism with plenty of shenanigans within, witty humor, fantastic representation, and compelling storytelling. I was hooked on this story since day one, and I cannot express in words how proud I am of how far it’s come.

With picking up this story be ready for an action packed, fluff filled journey of four eccentric and relatable teenagers going on a pilgrimage through a beautifully developed fantasy world to find themselves and grow closer as a group.

If you like adventure, fantasy, found family, fluff, some good angst, and fantastic storytelling from a witty up-and-coming author written with love and care, then this story is for you. And I assure you- you are in for a treat.

Yo, this probably isn't gonna get any attention, but I got this really neat story I wrote and I wanna share. It's called Glory of The Fallen, and it's about this boy named Elliott Zephyr who is something called a Wing (an elf with bird wings). The Wing banished these other people called Umbra underground some three thousand years ago because they're demons and use dark magic, and so they've been there for centuries.

Now of course, this is when Protagonist Syndrome kicks in and Elliott falls into this underground world in a freak accident, immediately almost dying, but being saved by three Umbra. Who are NOT evil by nature, as it turns out.

Basically me putting my gay realization journey in a fantasy world via a child who is my desired gender. No, wait, his boyfriend is my desired gender. Because yeah, they're all gay, of course they are. Tiberius is a nonbinary icon cause no one knows What They Are.
