This AU would hardly be complete without our dear princess

Could've sworn this fic exists, but I can't find it. I think there was sort of soulmate seeing color AU (not sure if it was a color one exactly, but it seems the most likely), and while I don't remember the main cause of conflict, I know that someone thought they were having a sort of syndrome where they were experiencing a delay in seeing color. Any help is appreciated! :)
