Dear neighbor: if you don't bring your crying puppy inside immediately I will be forced to walk over there, steal your puppy, and give him a life of love and luxury, and then he will hit it big in Hollywood and he'll make millions, and then a year later we'll return and you'll say "oh my gosh, celebrity puppy, remember me? I was your owner!" and the puppy will look back at me and I'll give a subtle nod of encouragement and then he'll turn back to you and say "Never heard of you" and then he'll tell the limo driver to lock the windows
