The thing is... Israel admitted to this from the very beginning.

let me reiterate. an active duty air force member burned himself alive because he was so disgusted by what the us government was openly supporting. he live-streamed his own suicide, so the whole world could bear witness as a man in his military uniform set himself on fire to protest his government’s complicity in the horrors that we have all been forced to watch happen in real time. he became a new horror. footage of the immolation blurs him out the moment the fire catches, but you can hear him. it is over in seconds, really, but you can hear him screaming. he shouts “free palestine” until his body physically cannot make any sounds other than guttural screams of agony. and then he falls silent. a police officer arrives and points a gun at his still burning body, shouting at him to get down on the ground. and it is over.

his name was Aaron Bushnell. he was twenty five years old. and he isn’t here anymore because the political ruling class has decided that genocide is perfectly fine as long as it preserves imperialism. in the coming days, people will try to discredit him. to say that he was mentally unstable. they will try to bury his actions to save face and defend israel’s propaganda. do not let them. aaron knew what he was doing. he knew what he was doing when he put on his military uniform, set up his twitch stream, and made his final walk up to the embassy. he knew what would happen to him when he flicked that lighter. do not let them forget. aaron’s blood is on the hands of the political ruling class.

I don't think it's a radical ideal for the want of Hawai'i to become their own independent country. It should have never been taken over by the US in the first place. For a country whose entire foundation is based upon "separation from a colonial country" it's laughable that they made an entire population that was self governed into a state. It's insulting. It's already blatantly obvious that this whole country was based on lies and blood, and it only continues to perpetuate that. I'm shocked that the Hawai'ian sovereignty movement isn't mainstream even though they have been fighting for it since 1997. Fuck the American government.

Like I get that we’re always like Yuichirou and Mikaela are one soul two bodies yada yada but like…. What? Like I’m so heavily confused it’s CRAZY— still love the manga but uh…. The new art is throwing me off— I miss my cuties? I’m just wondering where this plot twist came from??

like if anyone has a single clue what’s going on— I BEG, please explain it to me. I thought I was lokey cooking w/ my late night thoughts but… no… like I don’t… even know where to start?

I’m just too busy to over analyze Owari No Seraph every two minutes anymore— and past ideas have now been deemed trash like…. Hello? Like… it makes some sense, but then it doesn’t. I think it’s more of like an info dump— because there is a decent amount of filler, and there needed to be more underlying movement for the plot.

unpopular opinion…

Hear me out. I need to see Yuuichirou get hurt, badly. Before you say he’s gone through enough or let him be happy- listen. Character development. At the moment we really need it in my opinion. It sounds stupid but under the cut i’m attempting to explain why- along with mentioning minor to major flaws in writing that I don’t understand. NOTE: I LOVE OWARI NO SERAPH AND THIS IS NOT TO HATE I AM SIMPLY POINT SOME THINGS OUT PLEASE DON’T TAKE THIS TOO SERIOUS. 

As we can see through the manga Yuuichirou has in a sense started to develop character wise backward. You would think a traumatic event like his would cause him to become more cautious and distrusting but if anything it’s the opposite. Ex 1. He knows Guren plotted to kill his family but still believes that there was a good reason. That in itself sounds stupid and most people including myself can’t understand that. I would like to mention a character is better liked when we can understand reasons behind actions but at this moment it’s like he is an overly happy protagonist that needs a reality check. Having blind hope only endangers people around him - and we have seen that in actions when his blind hope in Guren got Mikaela killed. Yet even after that he trusts him and in ch 115 - 116 he only fought back because he wanted to save Mika. Still you have to take in account that if that fact wasn’t mentioned or if Guren simply left out the idea that Mika could be saved Yuu would have gone along with it. He would not have even though to think twice of potential dangers or even other possibilities. He trusts someone who has given him more than enough reason not to so much that he refuses to fact check or attempt to call out Guren’s bs. You have to know that simply filtering info could be devastating to someone like Yuu right? (Bout to go off topic) 

Another thing is the fact that this is Gurens mess. He should fix it himself but to make himself useful in a sense Yuu goes along with practically everything he says.  I have seen a lot of debate on how Guren and Yuu are acting the same and being selfish however in a previous (thread??) I talk about why saving humanity is a bad idea. Yes they are acting the same however in simple terms Yuu has better reasons. Let me explain. Guren ended the entire world to bring back what 7? People. He ruined the whole world. However in Yuu’s case it won’t affect anyone who is already dead. It won’t do much but I can understand why some of you see it as a waste but by saying that Guren is still someone who started this whole mess. If Guren hadn’t ended the world Mikaela would not have been turned and would not have been killed by him thus having to be saved instead of humanity. It’s all a massive butterfly affect that started from Gurens mistake and probably Sika’s planning but we are not going to get into that right now.  (Back on topic somewhat.)

Yuuichirou hasn’t really messed up badly either. before you say he loss of his family that wasn’t really his nor Mika’s fault it was planned. This is another opinion but having a perfect mc isn’t all that great either. You need to give a character regrets mistakes and messups. You could argue and say he has however all of those can be traced back to one of two sources. Guren and Shikama. By pointing this out I am saying that him being perfect makes him unrelatable and makes him feel like he always has the moral high ground even though sometimes no- most times the morally right thing to do isn’t the best thing to do. Sometimes the morally wrong reason is the best option to make characters more palletable to readers which is why based on recent chapters people have liked Yuu more and why most people in the fandom tend to like Mikaela over everyone else because he has flaws but that is reasonable and makes people gravitate to him based on the fact that he Is still growing.  Along with this something to note is that the mc of anything has an affect on people around them as everything is in fact centered on them. So in a sense the reason why Guren often gets defended so brashly is because he is on the side of the protag which means he has the moral high ground which most people assume is the right choice. Look at my wording ASSUME, which means not a lot of thought nor evidence is put into it. (ONCE AGAIN NOT HATING ON THE MANGA OR ANYONE JUST POINTING SOME THINGS I HAVE NOTICED WHILE I HAVE BEEN HERE IN THIS FANDOM. IT’S OKAY TO DISAGREE. ITS CALLED AN OPINION) 

Anyway. To end this off the only reason I made this is because I have been holding it in for a very very long time. Like years long time. Anyway please do not send hate this is an opinion. we can have different opinions and disagree that is completely fine. If you would like to please send me your opinion or argue and discuss if you would like that’s also the point of this. Once again not hating or anything just stating some things. 

(Hating on Kagami for the other bs he puts use through tho. at this point the manga is just a thousand year old slow burn.)

Just because Abortion will be a crime, will not stop it from happening, what it is stopping is safe abortions, so many will lose they’re life from this.

Fetuses are not sentient, they are alive yes but they are simply just a cluster and bundle of cells, they are not aware of they’re own existence and life.

Today let us mourn and protest against the actual deaths of AFAB People that the Supreme Court will cause because of this.

Notice how these people care more about unborn babies than the ones who are actually alive and suffering, the ones who were born as anything other than ‘ideal’.

They preach about murder yet make millions of AFAB people go through something irreversible, something that should be a great responsibility with a lot of consideration. It should be something they WANT. Not something they’re forced to do.

Abortions are still gonna happen. They haven’t stopped anything. All they’re doing is making it harder to access for people who need it, all they’re doing is making it unsafe.

I feel like the Supreme Court has never even seen a fetus. How could you look at that and think ‘oh, that thing has cognitive function?’

Even if you try to justify it using the bible (which shouldn’t even be used bc religion and politics should always stay STRICTLY FUCKING SEPARATE), I’m pretty sure it says that life starts at the first breath. I could be wrong on that, and even if I was, it’s an absolute wrong move to put words in gods mouth. In fact it’s quite literally blasphemous to do so

If you want less abortions, maybe try actually doing something to stop it. Like financially supporting those who want one, adopting kids, setting up shelters and helping them find homes. Maybe try, I don’t know, helping your cause? All you’re doing right now is being a pompous prick who thinks they have the moral high ground.

Humanity vs Mikaela?

Okay, now personally I would choose Mikaela any day but since apparently some people are torn let me shed some actual logic on this situation. Just preferences alone is enough for me but for actual reasoning I still have it. No one asked but this has been stuck in my head ever since the question came about. If you want the answer logically (in my opinion open to criticism) just scroll down it’s hard to explain without background. This might be long so I’ll continue under the cut. SPOILERS FOR 115 IF YOU HAVE NOT READ IT 

- Reason One - 

This reason is more personal and assuming so feel free to skip. Most demons were past vampires who had died from a lack of blood which we get from panels 88 to 94. Mikaela is included, so in theory if they were to provide humanity life again he would have to die. Once again Mikaela probably noticed this and was okay with death if it meant he could be free from the guilt of leading his family to their deaths. Killing off the most sensible character isn’t too smart, so Kagami won’t do it, especially with the imminent backlash from fans. 

-Reason Two-

Lack of resources, demand will always exceed supply when the entire population comes back. It has already proven to be hard to scavenge materials in the ruined world, so when everyone comes back everyone will simply die due to the environment. Without shelter, food, and water (basic necessities) everyone is done for. When people begin to starve the already scarce food will be gate-kept and cause arguments, arguments will eventually bring war and death which is the entire reason for reviving everyone. For those thinking of growing food, there most likely isn’t anything to plant and it takes a long time there still won’t nearly be enough to feed the world. Along with that what land could we use? The environment is ruined enough as is thanks to the Four Horsemen of John, battles, and trying to defend from vampires. Without land or anything to grow everyone will starve. 

- Reason Three -

Potential Reactions. When Humans come back to see ruins they’re going to question what happened. Vampires won’t exist anymore so there isn’t much to explain it either than the Horsemen, but that alone won’t be enough. People are going to question what is going on. Humans are naturally curious creatures, they won’t rest until they have answers. They will work together to figure out the truth, and when they figure it out, no matter how long it takes one of two things will happen. It will 1 cause a chain reaction and everyone will die again once they discover that they were brought back or 2 the Moon Demon Company will be targeted. Do you truly believe that after everything they have gone through they will forgive Guren like Yuu did? Most people are not that naive, to figure out that everyone’s deaths pain suffering and the end of the world was thanks to him, they won’t let them rest until they are dead. (Though Guren is probably immortal). It won’t end well, it’s easier for many people to come together and figure things out than just one. 

- Reason Four - 

Protection. People are weak enough as is, and greedy. While vampires and Most demons will be gone, the Four Horsemen of John are (most likely) not connected with this revival. So once again without the demons to aid and help with weaponry, including enchanted weapons (from what I can tell they are based off of energy and ‘magic’? from demons and vampires possibly even seraphs.) how will they manage to protect everyone? It’s hard enough for Shinoa’s team plot armor or not to defeat a single horseman so without their weapons, it’s impossible. Without protection even those who had survived will succumb. 

[Now this next reason is a bit different it supports the idea that no one, not even Mikaela (I’m sorry), should be revived. It’s a decent idea of doing nothing leaving things as is, though a bit strange. This part is pure suggestion so it isn’t really a theory or reason. Take it with a large grain of salt.]

- Reason Five - 

Benefits. Doing nothing at all not only helps with their fight against Shikama Doji, it also ensures they still have a way to fight. Shikama Doji did all of this just to revive Mikaela, so not reviving him would not only foil their plans but it would include help from very much alive vampires and demons. Without their demons they are useless, so not reviving anyone would still make things easier. However it brings up the question of how to move on from there, but that isn’t my job so-¯\_( ͡❛ ᴗ ͡❛)_/¯  have fun I guess?

quick note: pretty sure that the squads demons aren’t trustworthy anyway since they are all Shikama’s henchmen. This was probably planned as well it’s too much of a coincidence. 

Overall I just want Mikaela to be happy- I can’t wait for the next chapter and am borderline obsessed with this manga. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk anyway this is all just observation guessing and theories please critique me I would love to hear other points of view!
