#post-TROS mood

I was reading The dark prince charming again and you can’t tell me this isn’t exactly what happened I REGRET NOTHING (click for better view)

Why is this unfair? TROS killed the heart of the trilogy ( long meta with the evidence of 4 years )

Why is it unfair? Why does it hurt?

Because people were led to believe Disney re-created the Skywalker Saga in order to give a well deserved happy ending to the beloved Solo-Skywalker family. Fans were led to believe Disney Lucasfilm built up Ben Solo, and made him incredibly sympathetic to make him fulfill the salvation of his tormented family by making a turn and living a happy life with his soulmate, Rey by his side. 

Reylo was about finding the way out of darkness with the power of love.

Both The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi built up a beautiful romance plot between two, mistreated lonely souls who were destined to be together.

okay but I can’t stop thinking about alicent and sansa’s parallels:

idealistic dreamers who quickly learn the world will not be kind to them

manipulated by a father figure “for the good of their family”

unwillingly married to a much older, morally grey man

who learn to play the game because they must

and then find, to their surprise, that they are very good at it
