First Kiss

Warnings: fluff, kissing, not written as hcs, kinda short?

A/N: I do have a love confessions headcannon already that has like a confession kiss, so ignore that for the purpose of this headcannon. Have an amazing day/night!

Donnie

Donnie would admit that he's not the most romantic, he could be if he wanted, but most of the time it wasn't something he cared for. Yet, when it came to you... He kept a stash of your favorite candy in his lab. Maybe one day he'll eat a piece and kiss you, just so it tastes like your favorite candy. Donnie would make you small things just to see your blush and stumble over your words. He loved it.

But for some reason things changed. You stopped stuttering when he gave you things. In fact — though he couldn't be sure — you seemed to get more flirty with him. You gave him compliments, touched him more, and overall just seemed more focused on him.

Donnie wouldn't lie and say that he hated it, he liked having your attention. Yet he wondered why it was so sudden. He'd have to think about that later as you're sitting next to him right now.

"Donnie, this is genius, really." You gush as you looked at his newest blueprint. He hadn't actually made it yet, but he had it all laid out and ready to make.

"Why do you sound surprised? I am a genius after all." He muses, leaning back in his chair. He was trying to act nonchalant, but inside he was screaming.

"Of course. Of course." You snort, smiling at him. "I'm just saying, this is the coolest thing You've ever come up with. This could really make Genius Built take off."

Donnie really doesn't know what came over him, truly to this day he claims he blacked out. But he had to kiss you. You'd always been so supportive and kind to him. He leans forward, cupping your jaw, and pressing his lips to yours so gently. And, yes, it does taste like your favorite candy.

Leo

Leo prides himself on being charming and flirtatious. He always enjoyed the blush on your face, when you'd cover your face anytime he flirted with you. He truly couldn't help himself, you just look so cute.

So imagine his shock when you suddenly started flirting back, "accidentally" making your hand brush his. He didn't know why there was a change, but he wasn't complaining.

When you two chilled out in his room, he'd hold you close to him. Leo would claim that it's just because you're warm and turtles like warm things. In reality, he likes hearing your heart race when he compliments you. As time goes on, he gets a bit more handsy, finding any reason to touch you.

One day, his mind is just filled with thoughts of you. He literally can't get you out of his head, he's tried. Mikey mumbled something to Raph about Leo being "lovesick" and Leo couldn't agree more.

When you finally came over. Though, he didn't know you were there at first. But he felt the brush of your hand on his, his own hand quickly grabbing you. Leo couldn't help himself. He pulled you against him and kissed you, letting out a relieved sigh.

Mikey

Mikey tried his best to be everything you needed. He loved being with you, he flirted without fully realizing he was flirting. But the sight of your blush, the way you looked when he complimented you makes his heart soar.

Then you started flirting back? Holding his hand? Being more touchy?

It was his turn to blush and stutter, but honestly it just made him more attracted to you. It made him crave your touch, your laugh, your smile. Mikey was growing a bit concerned, he's never had someone plague his thoughts like this before.

Every time you came over, Mikey would look at you and think about how you'd feel in his arms. He'd watch your lips when you'd talk, thinking about what would happen if he just leaned forward and kissed you. Of course, he didn't want to interrupt you while you spoke.

Finally, Mikey gained the courage to do just that. You had just finished talking about your day, smiling so big, so sweetly. Mikey was grinning back, leaning forward. He pressed a small, quick kiss to your lips before pulling back. He didn't want to overwhelm you or overstep.

Raph

Raph was anxious about going too far before you were ready. He'd always check in to see if you were doing okay, but never really flirted. Not like Leo, he didn't really give compliments either. He'd hold you, help you with things, but never outright flirted.

If Mikey and Leo hadn't told you that Raph was crushing on you, you probably wouldn't have known. Raph is that lowkey about it.

Honestly after they told you, you still didn't believe it. But you realized how Raph would go out of his way to help you, constantly texting you encouraging things, always making sure you're comfortable.

He liked taking things slow, wanting to get a good feel on how well you two worked together. He wouldn't do anything if you two aren't together, not wanting it to be fleeting. So after a few months of being together, Raph's mind is filled with thoughts about what your lips would feel like against his.

Raph makes a huge deal about it. He'll take you out to dinner, make it as romantic as he can. He'll walk you home like the gentleman he is and he does kiss you on the doorstep. Raph is so gentle, holding your jaw, his thumb caressing his cheek. And when he pulls away? He doesn't stay away for long, kissing you a few more times.

I wish gringos stopped trying to apply their racial relationships and theories to Brazil and maybe Latin America as a whole. Because it is different and I hate when they act like we are wrong for the way we think.

Like, as an example, there are no white passing in Brazil, if your skin is white, you are white. You can have black or asian or etc heritage, but if you call someone with white skin black in Brazil, people will be very confused and maybe laugh at you.

Also people who say about actors normally, but even regular people, that they are not white because they are Latin, like it is crazy to me, there are white Latins and Black Latins and Asian Latins.

Summary: Leo has the biggest crush on you, but he's afraid that you'd never date a mutant, so with the help of a cloaking brooch, he plans to become your perfect human boyfriend!

Okay I have to be honest. I saw someone with this idea, but I have no clue where it came from originally. If you know who I should credit, please tell me!!

Anyways, this concept gave me way too many ideas hope you enjoy.

Leo wasn't great at dealing with his feelings.

He'd been crushing on Y/N for far too long, the terrapin couldn't even remember when the whole thing started.

A few loving glances and a flirty joke or two had suddenly burst into the thought of Y/N keeping him up at night. He wasn't great at hiding it either, blushing like an idiot when they smiled his way.

Leo knew he needed to tell them sooner or later, but he hadn't worked up the courage yet. A part of him hoped they secretly felt the same way and would confess to him, but there'd been no sign of that happening anytime soon. Leo wanted to confess, he really did, but... what if they didn't feel the same way? What if it made their friendship weird? What if he looked like an idiot? What if they never wanted to speak to him again?!

There were just too many 'what ifs' for his liking.

So Leo had decided to take the easy way out, hoping that Y/N would just see how great he was, then he wouldn't have to deal with any uncomfortable conversations. He started going out of his way to impress them, saving them on missions, being overly nice, letting them win in video games, giving them his last pizza slice, (which is very valuable by the way!)

Not that he'd ever admit it, but Leo had spent an embarrassingly long time researching 'how to get your crush to like you back'.

He'd bought a cologne for Pete's sake! But no matter what he did, they never seemed to notice.

It was a ordinary evening. Leo and the others sat in the projector room watching a movie. Raph, Mikey and Y/N were sitting comfortably on the floor surrounded by blankets and pillows. Meanwhile, Donnie and Leo took the couch, popcorn in their hands. They were watching some random action movie. Leo wasn't really paying attention.

He was more focused on Y/N.

Y/N had started fawning over the male love interest and that began to spark a little- scratch that, a LOT of jealously in Leo's heart. Every scene that guy appeared in they were freaking out, gushing over him like he was the best thing since sliced bread.

The blue-masked turtle scoffed to himself as the character appeared again, narrowing his eyes at the screen.

What was so great about this guy anyway?

Leo was twice as charming as him, he was the one with good looks, great one-liners and clearly the best ninja skills. This guy barely spoke a word and Y/N was blushing like crazy. But as he kept watching the film, something clicked in his mind.

He was human.

That's something Leo could never beat. Sure, 'biologically' he was part human, but he didn't exactly look like it. The turtle shifted a little in his seat, the uncomfortable feeling of insecurity settling in.

"Leo? Are you good?" Donnie asked, snapping him out of his thoughts for a moment.

"Me? Yeah, I'm great," Leo replied quickly, glancing away from his brother's gaze,

"It's just that this movie sucks, never letting Raph choose again!" He lied, that playful smirk returning to his face as he saw his eldest brother's reaction.

"Hey!" Raph called out from afar.

As the movie continued, Leo sighed deeply and took another handful of popcorn, chewing the kernels absentmindedly and leaning back in his seat. Was that really why Y/N wasn't interested in him? Because he wasn't human? There wasn't much he could do about that, it's not like there was just some magic spell that could-

Leo's face lit up as an idea popped into his mind, cloaking brooches. Yokai used them, April's slime friend had one, so they must be easy to find. Leo's mind started spinning with possibilities. If he could get his hands on a cloaking brooch, he could be human and finally get Y/N's attention! But, where would he get one?

For once, Leo was distracted as Y/N entered his room. Usually he'd be all over them chatting up a storm, but he was sitting on his bed glancing away from them.

"Leo?" They asked softly, watching as the turtle was startled by the interruption.

"Hey, what's with the jump scares?" Leo joked with a playful chuckle,

"I thought we were friends." He said in mock offense, leaning onto his back and over-dramatically draping his hand over himself.

Y/N couldn't help but laugh at his shenanigans, "I just came to check on you drama queen, you're being weirdly quiet today."

Leo blinked at their observation. Jeeze, was he that obvious?

"Ohh well you know, I was just thinking about Raphs' riveting movie choice tonight." He replied casually, quick to make up an excuse.

I mean, technically, it wasn't a lie he had been thinking about the film.

Y/N rolled their eyes at that, "You're just salty it wasn't your choice tonight, besides that movie wasn't so bad." They replied, calmly leaning against the door frame.

"Ooh really? You're just saying that because you were all over the male lead," He retorted, grinning smugly as he watched their cheeks flush, "You, my friend, are biased."

"Well- Can you blame me? That guy was a total stud." Y/N blurted out defensively.

"He was alright, I guess. Just totally not as hot as the real stud in the room." He said with a cocky smirk as he gestured towards himself.

Y/N let out a laugh at that.

Normally, Leo wouldn't take such a tiny thing to heart, but his ego took a hit from the way Y/N laughed at him. He was the type to eagerly take any opporunity to see them smile, but this time it felt like they were laughing at him. Scoffing at just the thought of him being attractive to them, it was this newfound level of insecurity that he didn't know how to handle.

"Alright Leo, seems like you're biased too." They said with a chuckle.

"I simply speak the truth." He shrugged in reply, trying to ignore the painful realization.

Thankfully, Y/N didn't seem to notice, "Well, I'm heading home. I'll see you around."

"I'll see you." Leo smiled, waving as he watched them go.

After the coast was clear, Leo let out a long annoyed sign. He leaned onto his back, letting the soft cushion of his bed comfort him as insecurities began to plague his mind.

He needed a cloaking brooch.

Mental Health words you need to stop using wrong or at all

• Narcissist- describes someone with NPD or Narcissistic traits. Your asshole ex was probably not a narcissist and diagnosing others when you don’t treat them in a clinical setting, is not something you should be doing.

• Narcissistic abuse- this doesn’t exist. Your abuse was valid and we support you speaking up against your abuser but you don’t need to demonize an entire disorder to do that. We are trauma survivors too.

• Antisocial- describes someone with ASPD or antisocial traits. You being introverted or a homebody is not the same as having a lack of prosocial emotions and disregard for social customs.

• OCD- I see this one everywhere. You are not “so OCD” for wanting things to be organized. OCD is a disorder that consists of obsessions and compulsions. It also has intrusive thoughts (talked about next). You can have OCD and be unorganized or messy. Organizing can also be a compulsion but it’s not simply that. Compulsions are something you feel like you HAVE to do or something bad will happen. It is not mild discomfort. It is deeply upsetting and dictates your every thought without proper treatment.

•intrusive thoughts- everyone seems to be mixing up intrusive and impulsive thoughts. Impulsive thoughts are something that you suddenly get the urge to do, typically without regard for the consequences. This is something that you WANT to do. This can be something like dying your hair in the middle of the night, getting a tattoo you might regret later, etc. Intrusive thoughts are not at all that. Intrusive thoughts are things that go completely against your moral code. They are a part of OCD. They are horrifying thoughts to have. Intrusive thoughts can be things like thoughts of hurting those closest to you, thoughts of hurting children, or graphic images that won’t go away. Giving in to impulsive thoughts is usually irresponsible. Giving in to intrusive thoughts could be catastrophic. No one is giving in to intrusive thoughts. The whole point is that they are things you would NEVER DO.

• ADD- this is mostly targeted at my mother. Attention Deficit Disorder no longer exists. ADD is now under the umbrella disorder of ADHD. There are three subtypes of ADHD: inattentive, classic, and combined. Predominantly Inattentive ADHD is when a person presents with the inability to focus, stay on track, and remember things like a neurotypical but doesn’t really present with hyperactivity. Predominantly hyperactive/impulsive is basically the other end of the spectrum. Someone may present with hyperactivity and impulsivity but not so much inattentiveness. Predominantly combined is when a person presents with all of those symptoms.

"Hey, Dad. Raph. Donnie... It's been awhile. How are you?"

Leo walked to the base of the hill, where his family was buried. He gazed at them, the familiar feeling of that warm emptiness filled his chest. They were gone, but not gone.

He felt their presence, as he sat in front of the graves. Leo made the graves at the times they died, almost as if not making a headstone would prevent their deaths.

Leon felt guilty about their less-than-stellar headstones for his family, but the lack of resources prevented him from making a good one, especially for his twin.

"Same as always, huh? Yeah, nothing seems to change with you guys, heh... Don't worry, I'll trim it up soon, I know how you like it tidy, Don. Love you guys. Bye, Dad. Bye Raph. Bye, Donnie. I'll see you guys... soon."

Summary: Headcanons of the yandere rottmnt when their love interest has a crush

Michelangelo:

You having this crush puts a crack in his perfect world view of you and him. He’d always thought that because he was obviously the one for you, you’d never stray from his side. Finding out about the person you admire makes him cranky and more clingy, his jealousy growing.

He’s in constant denial of your crush. You’re obviously in love with him, this is just a stupid puppy love that won’t last a week.

Despite hating hearing about it, he’ll be the one who offers to give you advice and such with your crush, constantly talking them down and trying to make you see them in a negative light. He’ll bring up their every fault and make things up to get you to hate them. He just wants you to see how obviously awful they are for you, digging down and trying to get rid of them in your mind.

Hang outs increase tenfold. He’s always wanting you to come over now and spend time with him instead of your friends or your crush. He’ll do everything to win you over, showering you with gifts and compliments. He’ll try to slide in little comments of how good he is with you, hoping to make you love him instead.

He’s much more reluctant to let you leave, always trying to come with reasons for you to stay by his side for as long as possible. He’ll insist on going everywhere with you, following you from the rooftops wherever you go. He’s terrified of your crush or you making a move while he isn’t watching.

If it comes down to it, he’ll visit your crush himself. He’ll threaten them first, but if they don’t back off, he’ll get rid of them. He’s always happy to let you lean on his shoulder while you cry. He can’t wait to comfort you now that they're finally gone.

Donatello:

Absolutely furious at the notion. If he doesn’t kidnap you right off the bat, he’ll immediately start to try and steer you away from them. He’ll dig up dirt and hack their phone to plant evidence of them being awful. 

If he’s able to hack into their messages and such, he’ll send you hurtful messages from their accounts to drive a wedge between the two of you. He’s happy to help comfort you after you receive the ‘hate’ from your crush.

Deletes any apologies or meets ups from your phone and your crushes, making sure neither of you could ever make plans or apologize over text.

Starts talking himself up more when around you, stringing in little spiteful comments towards your crush in every conversation. After he makes you small trinkets or fixes your phone, he’ll be smug and compare himself to your crush.

Starts watching you more intently, not even letting up when you’re at school. He’ll text you more during the day so your mind stays on him.

If the crush persists longer than Donnie can handle, he’ll just kill your crush or kidnap you. Maybe even both if your admiration for them is strong enough. 

He doesn’t trust you around others anymore, wanting to keep you safe by his side and away from any others that might ‘corrupt your mind’.

Raphael:

Is terrified and very angry. 

He’s afraid this possibly dangerous stranger is taking you away from him, his anger towards your crush growing every time their name leaves your mouth or you get the spaced out love look when you think of them. 

Your crush quickly becomes enemy number one in his mind. Everything that goes wrong, Raph blames them. You had a bad day? Crush’s fault. You can’t hang out because of homework? Your crush must’ve distracted you in class when you usually finish it. Everything and anything becomes their wrong-doing.

Raph’s the quickest to jump to killing them, his anger building as the delusion that they caused everything wrong in the world grows. He wants to get rid of them as soon as possible, the idea of them alive and in your life boiling his blood. Raph’s self-appointed job is to protect you, and if you’re off with someone who obviously causes you so much pain, the simple solution is to get rid of them.

Raph babies you for a while after he gets rid of your crush, slowly keeping you at the lair more and more before not letting you leave. You’re safer with him, after all. He can’t risk you falling in love with someone other than himself again.

Leonardo:

Tries to play it cool. Leo doesn’t get angry often, but this alone makes him heated. He feels betrayed by you, that your diverting love is a personal attack to him. He doesn’t care that you weren’t in love with him beforehand, you’re his. 

He’s upset with you for choosing someone over him. He thought you loved him, even if it wasn’t as much as he loved you.

He becomes a lot more clingy with you, holding you close and trying to spend as much time with you as possible in hopes you’ll forget your crush.

Deletes them from your phone and constantly blocks them whenever he can. He doesn’t want you talking with them, and guilt trips you whenever you blow him off to hang out with your crush or someone else instead.

He’ll grumble about it for days before deciding what to do. He’s getting rid of your crush no matter what, but how he wants to do it depends entirely on how in love with them you are.

Keeps you close to him and pretends to be interested in your crush, wanting to get as much information on the person who won over your affections.

Kidnaps you as soon as he gets rid of your crush. He won’t even wait to wash the blood off his hands before bringing you home and setting you up in his room. He hates sharing your love, and refuses to wait long enough to let them win over your heart even more. You’ll forgive him one day, he’s sure of it, but as long as he has you in his arms he doesn't care.
