I created this art as a gift for my friend Diya. This is his son, Magdy and his cat whose story I shared here.

Right now, Diya is separated from his family in Gaza and has been for over a year. His family is facing the second winter since they were displaced from their home. The winters in Gaza are harsh. People are taking shelter in flimsy tents, that don't protect them from the wind and rain. The rain brings with it flooding that destroys everything. Diseases are spreading with no access to proper sanitation and medical care. When they went to receive polio vaccinations, they witnessed an IOF attack on the taxi in front of them.

The last donation was 6 hours ago, and there have only been 4 donations in the 24 hours. We need to help Diya reach his short-term goal of 30% so he can help his family purchase winter supplies that they need to survive. It is already November. There is literally no time to waste. We lived a relatively stable life in Gaza prior to October 7 th, 2023. Since then, we have been displaced multiple times. We left our home, our belongings, our life and dreams. We finally ended up in a tent after moving in multiple unsafe homes. My children as a result, are suffering from malnutrition, inability to sleep and fear of bombing and explosions all around us.

We are in a continuous state of unrest and it's taking a toll on us physically, mentally and emotionally.

No homes, no water, no electricity, nothing left.

And now, after losing hope in life in Gaza and losing all the basics necessary for a single individual’s life, and fearing for the future of my children, as each one has a dream that he aspires to reach,

Any amount of money can help Nader and his family escape this destruction.

Have you ever been forced to suffer through an illness because you couldn't access any medical care? This is what Heba's @heba-213 son Amir is forced to go through.

Heba and her family lost their home due to the war, and now live in a tent. Because of the lack of proper shelter or cleaning supplies, Amir has developed a chronic skin disease. Without access to the treatment Amir needs, the disease has spread greatly throughout his body, and causes him severe pain, so much so that he struggles to sleep.

Heba needs help to afford treatment for Amir, as well as necessities to care for her other children. Right now, Heba wants to reach ashort term goal of $7,000 CAD. However, donations have been slow, and she has only reached around half of this goal.
