happy friday the 13th here are some spooky text-based games for halloween:

god is in the radio - you are death, one of 22 members of the major arcana, a cult dedicated to some far-off god. the night is halloween, and you watch in scorn as the unknowing dance among devils and dress to indulge in sin. the high priestess receives a message from the all-mighty himself: the arcana must gather in an abandoned house and find his song on an old radio receiver.

neolithic inhabitant of the andean plateau: hmm i wonder if there are any good edible tubers growing around here
the humble potato:
i'm playing wytchwood and it's fine and all but i'm getting pretty frustrated with having to go around and gather ingredients and everything so now i'm just looking at a walkthrough to see what are the necessary items i need for the rest of the game and am starting to make a spreadsheet to see if i can just calculate the numbers of things to get and prepare ahead of time so i don't. have to. keep going to the swamp to get things like oh god please
i hate how spotify wrapped replaced like all mentions of genres with incoherent tiktok gibberish. anyways you should learn more about music genres, like actually learn about them beyond a basic level. it will seriously improve your enjoyment of music
rateyourmusic's genre tree - super in-depth, each genre has a detailed description, covers niche genres and historical genres
120 genres of edm - good youtube video showing examples of a ton of electronic genres
https://everynoise.com - this is what spotify used for years until the developer got laid off
wikipedia's list of music genres and styles: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_music_genres_and_styles
really not a fan of entire (mostly black) music genres being compressed and confined to being seen as "video game" music to be totally honest
