Hastings, East Sussex, one of my favourite towns! It is perfectly situated on the South Coast between Rye and Eastbourne, and makes an inexpensive home base for one who wishes to trawl about Sussex. It is also wonderfully characterful, especially the Old Town (@aquietdiary IG)
